If you have an account you can save your map as a file, but you have to purchase Minecraft to actually be able to save it the fast way, at least that's what I think...

Minecraft now has Beta 1.9 Pre-Release upped to Version 4! I also modified some class files to spawn the Enderdragon, but boy do I regret it. Here is a picture of the Enderdragon DESTROYING my creation :psmiley27:

I spawned it near but possibly a good distance away but it flew into the tower one time and the second time, hit it and did a turn around in it, and this is the third time it flew through it. Do not spawn it near your creations as it will be destroyed!

Yeah, I'm a newbie to Minecraft...started playing today. Hey, does anyone have a multiplayer server they have that they would be willing to let me into? I need help with the basics and I can sure use some backup in trouble. By the way, PM it if you want it to be private information. Put Server Name and Server Address, and label it because I get confused easily...sorry. :P My beta version is 1.8.1 if I said it correctly.

I'm thinking of getting it, it sounds good.

So 1.0 has been out for a while, what do you guys think of it. I really like the enchanting, I think it added a lot of sweet things to the game. What about you guys? Do you like it?

I would have liked minecraft to take a more technical route (like more attention to redstone and opeations), rather than fantasy one, but it's fine to me either way.

Captain Gas 12-13-2011 12:35 AM

I now have version 1.0.0. Yay.

Swash 12-20-2011 04:19 AM

I heard 1.1.0 is supposed to focus on making sheep better and will translate the game to many other languages. Also it will have a lot of bug fixes.

Tom Sharkwash 12-22-2011 05:59 PM

Yeah I don't think 1.1.0 is going to change a whole lot besides the language settings, which I personally think is a good idea, but besides that not much is being added, in my opinion.

Slasher 12-23-2011 11:34 PM

I agree. I don't think it will add much. I think what I want to change now is modding. I understand its not supposed to be easy, but Jeb said it would be his focus when he's taken over. I think that would make life so much easier. And I would like server stuff for Mac easier. Everything is getting hard for Mac these days. Needs to change...

Actually in my experience, making a server on Mac is much easier than making one on Windows. Mostly because of the port forwarding.

Tom Sharkwash 12-24-2011 10:08 PM

I agree that modding should definitely be addressed because currently it is a real hassle. Also I think he should work on the default server, to add more things and make it plugin compatible, instead of bukkit.

Well, relatively yes it is. But it was frustrating the first time around. Mine still kinda messed up due to the port forwarding. It was easy a bit, but still sort of frustrating. There should just be able to just find out IP and give it to someone. That simple. That probably won't happen, but its a hope. Hey, its Christmas. Everyone has hopes :xlaugh:

Anyways, still, they need to work on mods. Because has anyone noticed it isn't possible just to drag and drop a mod? We have to change things. I tried to install a mod yesterday, and with the one mod, I had to get 5 others. It gets a bit hectic. Like really hectic with Too Many Items and Single Player Commands.

Captain Gas 12-26-2011 03:01 AM

I borrowed my friend's account, because he said he didn't want it anymore but he wants it back now after I played a while. My father is letting me get my own account soon, though.
