I didn't actually meet the pirates, just saw them through the binoculars before my buddies in the Marines took them out. Somalia, 1991.

It's be a toss up between the Imperial Battle Cruiser from Star Wars and the Voyager from Star Trek. I think Voyager would win out for me.

Yea...hard one to call...the Imperial Star Destroyer is just so awesome...and egads the size of the Super Star Destroyer...plus all the cool toys that come within them such as the AT-AT's, various TIE fighters and landing craft...

But at the same time you have the Star Trek ships...Klingon ships rock(aka Bird of Prey), Romulan Bird of Prey is close to a Star Destroyer, etc...but the Federation ships are cool as well...I would probably go with one of the Enterprises though simply because it's what started it all...either 1701-A, 1701-D or 1701-E...

Then again an Eagle from Space 1999 would be kinda cool...or the Draconian ship from Buck Rogers...or the Galactica from Battlestar Galactica...probably the one form the original series...

Sigh...hard one to call indeed...lol :psmiley35:

I hate to break it to you but, the battle cruiser is way smaller than the destroyer. So... hands down the Super Star Destroyer. it has more fire power and all those extra TIEs. and because STAR TREK is kinda lame.

I'd surround my pirate with the wenches from BBK cause they always make you laugh and they know how to partee...

BTW...there is no reason to have to break anything to me...I grew up on Sci Fi from the 70's on up...

One also must remember that even though the sheer size of the SSD (12 kilometers) was menacing...a small A-Wing was able to take it out by crashing into the bridge...

Secondly...Star Trek ships can dance circles around SW ships in terms of speed...ST ships also have better shielding...plus phasers are better then laser blasters and Photon Torpedos own Proton torps...

I would tell you that the sidebar discussion concerns space ships from the Star Wars movies and the Star Trek shows/movies. The debate hinges upon which one we would rather own if it were possible.
