Tom Sharkwash 12-18-2009 01:45 PM

Colts game was close, well kind of. For some reason I think the Cowboys may actually beat the Saints. I doubt it, but I hope. Going to be a good game.

The Skirata Clan 12-18-2009 08:08 PM

I wanted the Jags to win, because of playoffs. It will get interesting.

combatlizzy 12-18-2009 09:12 PM

<<taps foot & Glares angrily while flipping a coin>>

swordshot 12-18-2009 11:06 PM

HehE i bet the saints for all games LOL

Tom Sharkwash 12-19-2009 12:10 AM

The Saints may be undefeated, but their games have been very close. For a while I was thinking the Saints would lose (against the Redskins).

swordshot 12-19-2009 12:30 AM

nope.. eagles WILL clinch the division!!
this time really superbowl real super bowl! and win!! unlike last year cuz cardnils cheated!!

Sven Osymthe 12-19-2009 12:43 AM

They will more than likely clinch their division... but as long as there is one team trying... they will not even see the Superbowl. And the Cardinals were just as lucky as the Bengals and Raiders I guess... :laughks2:

swordshot 12-19-2009 02:34 AM

yes... no suprise with the bengles!!

Sven Osymthe 12-19-2009 02:42 AM

I was talking about last year when they tied, but yeah xD

The Skirata Clan 12-19-2009 05:37 AM

AFC Playoffs...........NFC Playoffs...

Colts......................Saints
Bengals.................Vikings
Chargers...............Eagles
Patriots.................Cardinals
Ravens.................Packers
Broncos................Giants/49ers

AFC Wild-Card
Chargers Vs. Broncos.....................Patriots Vs. Ravens

NFC Wild-Card
Eagles Vs. Giants/49ers.................Cardinals Vs. Packers

AFC Divisional Round
Chargers Vs. Colts.........................Ravens Vs. Bengals

NFC Divisional Round
Eagles Vs. Saints..........................Cardinals Vs. Vikings

AFC Championship
Colts Vs. Bengals

NFC Championship
Eagles Vs. Vikings

Super Bowl
Vikings over Bengals.

I want Colts Vs. Vikings, but Bengals are motivated due to resent events. I hope Colts get there I don't like them but they are resourceful. Vikings will get there because we won't have to face The Packers or Saints. The Eagles will take them out for us. The Cardinals are very good but we now have Griffin and Winfield healthy and they have a few injured guys.

swordshot 12-19-2009 05:46 AM

no colts and eagles in superbowl!

The Skirata Clan 12-19-2009 05:50 AM

Eagles lack the Defense to stop the big teams. Colts/Bengals will make the Super Bowl. I want Colts but Bengals will go all out.

swordshot 12-19-2009 06:09 AM

YUpCHAD BABY!

Sven Osymthe 12-19-2009 06:11 AM

Thats not the way I see it turning out, but i'll post what I think next week, or the week after. I'd personally want Colts vs. Saints, with both being 18-0, since the chance of that opportunity coming again is highly unlikely.

The Skirata Clan 12-19-2009 08:26 AM

I will change those predictions next week too.

Sven Osymthe 12-20-2009 05:22 AM

Well, 2-0 so far... I can't believe I guessed that right weeks ago..

The Skirata Clan 12-20-2009 07:43 AM

The Saints have struggled before, they won't stand a chance with a fast offense like the Eagles or Cardinals once they get to playoffs.

Li Wildtimbers 12-20-2009 10:03 AM

COLTS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!

lolz

Tom Sharkwash 12-20-2009 03:28 PM

Anyone see the Saints game last night?
BEST GAME EVER(well at least for me)! Cowboys win by a touchdown

wmah 12-21-2009 01:52 PM

I didn't watch saints yesterday but I did like the final score on that one.
So with a $10 bet I get half of that $480.

Aaron McEagle 12-21-2009 02:28 PM

How bout dum panthers!!!!!!!!!!!

upset alert!!!!!!

Li Wildtimbers 12-21-2009 06:21 PM

WOOT WOOT!!!!!!

14 - 0!!!!! YAY Colts!!!!!!

combatlizzy 12-21-2009 06:30 PM

Colts vs Bengals, TSC? Hmmm...I just remember the look on Mannings face when he picked himself off the ground after like the 10th time...It was akin to "Do I really wanna play football?"

Liz--------->AFK, again!

Sven Osymthe 12-21-2009 06:32 PM

Thats the same face Roethlisberger has week after week... :xlaugh:

oooooo, Lizzy not playing nice today....lolz

The Skirata Clan 12-22-2009 01:09 AM

I have no comment on this past week...

Robmac7777 12-23-2009 12:12 AM

My Bears are out, The Cowboys are iffy at best, but The Colts, my o my they are looking good!! I'm not sure who's in for the Bowl, but the playoffs will be interesting.

TooHip 12-23-2009 08:23 AM

Winding down... Or, is it winding up? Anyway, week 15 is settled. Week 16 open for betting. Good luck!

Sven Osymthe 12-23-2009 02:34 PM

Well on a matter of who I thought would win, I was 11-5, but for who I wanted to win... 8-8.

The Skirata Clan 12-23-2009 07:11 PM

This was indeed a week of surprises.

Tom Sharkwash 12-25-2009 11:05 PM

I was looking at the bets and saw someone put a lot of money in the Chargers vs. Titans game.
Hope the Chargers win, I'll make some money

The Skirata Clan 12-26-2009 02:08 AM

Some placed a lot of cash in all of the games.

combatlizzy 12-26-2009 03:22 AM

Wasn't me!!!! Putting my shiney into stocks. Well, they are as predictable as these games..lol

The Skirata Clan 12-26-2009 05:05 AM

I know, but The Vikings will triumph!

swordshot 12-26-2009 05:12 AM

:xmasbiggrin:i agree with tsc

Sven Osymthe 12-26-2009 05:12 AM

Yep, and the Redskins along with the Lions will both be 17-0 in the NFC title next year! Wait.. that will never be..

swordshot 12-26-2009 05:17 AM

hmm.... Colts are, OK....Now... saints are going or already clinch/clinched the division

Sven Osymthe 12-26-2009 05:21 AM

Saints have clinched their division, but Colts have clinched their conference (a few weeks ago). Saints are good.. but they have a easier division.

Tom Sharkwash 12-26-2009 05:26 AM

The Lions are my second favorite team besides the Cowboys. I hope the Lions pull that miracle off.

Tom Sharkwash 12-26-2009 05:39 AM

An Eagles fan eh.... Ready to watch them get creamed in the last weak? Then watch the Cowboys clinch the division (well least I hope so).

sure.... eagles make it to wild card though!

Sven Osymthe 12-26-2009 05:40 AM

Nope, they've won titles, but not Superbowls, they only lose there.. and they won't... but it would be a third loss :D

Tom Sharkwash 12-26-2009 05:41 AM

Who Cowboys or Eagles?

Sven Osymthe 12-26-2009 05:41 AM

The one without 5.

swordshot 12-26-2009 05:42 AM

eagles...STOP PICKING ON THEM LOL ILL CALL UP ANDY REID ROFL

Tom Sharkwash 12-26-2009 05:46 AM

All I want for Christmas is for the Cowboys to go to the playoffs. I doubt they'll make it to the Superbowl.

swordshot 12-26-2009 05:48 AM

keep doubting :D i KNOW eagles are going to survive till 5 leekat least

The Skirata Clan 12-26-2009 10:03 AM

The Super Bowl winner will be between Colts, Chargers, Vikings, or Eagles. One of those 4 are my top picks.

Sven Osymthe 12-28-2009 12:54 AM

Little disappointing Colts didn't go for it all, but the fact the Jets were having problems with a 2nd and 3rd string bunch.. :xlaugh:

Although.. whoever put 1000 on the Colts, I am actually glad I bet against them for once :xcheesy:

combatlizzy 12-28-2009 02:56 AM

Have to admit the Eagles looked impressive today...

Tom Sharkwash 12-28-2009 03:44 AM

Poor Saints.

The Skirata Clan 12-28-2009 03:59 AM

I had Jets too!

Aaron McEagle 12-28-2009 03:50 PM

My SuperBowl Picks:
  • Vikings
  • Ravens
  • Colts
  • Saints

The Commodore 12-28-2009 03:53 PM

Steelers all the way!!!

swordshot 12-28-2009 04:50 PM

Tom, who won many playoff games with #5(McNABB) and who hasnt won any with #9(ROMO). oh and hows t.o. doing in buffalo!
HeHe the cowboys may make it though.I must agree:pirate2: wait i dont agree viking are going to crush the cowboys.Peterson is going to truck Jenkins and all.Anyway eagles will make it for the 2 Seed.

The Skirata Clan 12-28-2009 06:56 PM

Here's my predictions... Again.

AFC Playoffs...........NFC Playoffs...

Colts......................Saints
Chargers...............Vikings
Bengals.................Eagles
Patriots.................Cardinals
Ravens.................Packers
Broncos................Cowboys

AFC Wild-Card
Patriots Vs. Broncos.....................Bengals Vs. Ravens

NFC Wild-Card
Eagles Vs. Cowboys.................Cardinals Vs. Packers

AFC Divisional Round
Patriots Vs. Colts.........................Ravens Vs. Chargers

NFC Divisional Round
Eagles Vs. Saints..........................Cardinals Vs. Vikings

AFC Championship
Colts Vs. Chargers

NFC Championship
Eagles Vs. Vikings

Super Bowl
Vikings/Eagles over Colts/Chargers

I think that Chargers is the most dangerous team going to playoffs, just because the are on a streak.
Eagles/Cowboys are meeting twice! Cards have an amazing offense that I don't think The Pack can stop. Saints went from destroying teams, to barely winning, to barely losing. The Vikes can have a good game just as easily as they can a bad one.

Patriots have the offense but lack the defense. They will overwhelm their opponents by scoring a lot more and faster. Bengals are solid but they can be here or there. Colts are without a doubt the most resourceful team in the league. They can be down 40 points and still come back and win in the last 2 minutes. The wild card teams for AFC are too many to discuss.

combatlizzy 12-28-2009 09:08 PM

Commodore..I love me Steelers, but even though they won on Sunday...something is missing (besides wins).
Pats are high scorers, but if they come up against a tough defense, I believe they are toast. Last time Cinn played in Super Bowl, they couldn't handle the pressure.
As I stated b4, Eagles are very impressive. Colts are great because of Manning. Haven't really paid attention to Chargers or Vikings.
So, at this point, I really don't have a pick for Super Bowl. Need I-N-P-U-T like Johnny 5....

swordshot 12-28-2009 10:22 PM

about that thing with the steelers with the strong deffence.Like the eagles or... better?

Chalupa 12-29-2009 12:54 AM

CHARGERS are gonna win the super bowl, if they don't the Patriots will

Bladehawk 12-29-2009 02:16 AM

Saints + Eagles = NFC Championship Game

The Skirata Clan 12-29-2009 03:21 AM

Saints and Eagles will meet on Divisional.

Admiral Finch 12-29-2009 06:09 AM

I've been a Pats fan forever. I hope the eagles get crushed since they hired Michael vick. Not much of a fan of him.

-Kermit

The Skirata Clan 12-29-2009 06:33 AM

Me neither, basing it on On The Field skills Only.

TooHip 12-29-2009 07:58 AM

Week 16 bets have been settled. Week 17, last of the regular season, is now open for betting.

The Skirata Clan 12-29-2009 10:10 AM

Now it gets interesting... If you are The Bengals or The Patriots will you play to win or to try stuff out... Both of them are in playoffs, and their opponents Jets and Texans are in the hunt for a spot... Both of those are in with a win and help from other results. Bengals and Patriots might face those 2 lesser teams... Would they rather play Jets and Texans or meet The Steelers, Ravens, Broncos, maybe even Dolphins or Jaguars.

On the other side the Wild-Card game will be played TWICE! Cards/Pack and Eagles/Cowboys will play the last regular season game then they will face again during Wild-Card... Will they play all out or will they rest their starters just to save them from injuries.

swordshot 12-29-2009 04:02 PM

Woot Woot bears won so that is better for the eagles.BEARS BEAT THE VIKINGS IM HAPPY ITS BETTER FOR THE EAGLES!

Aaron McEagle 12-29-2009 04:09 PM

Lets talk about them ravens.
You see ravens have had close losses all year.
Out of nowhere came the bengals who won there divsion over the ravens and steelers.
Even though the ravens lost to the steelers they are still the #1 playoff card holder.
All the ravens have to do is beat them Raiders which ( no offense raider fans ) are not doing good:psmiley35:

The eagles and cowboys
Since the vikings lost the eagles do have a chance at the #2 seed in nfc.
The eagles are playing for what hopes to be the highest up they can go which is the #2 spot but teh cowboys are playing for ( Not Sure ) the #3 spot over the eagles.

Sven Osymthe 12-29-2009 04:30 PM

I think next week a lot of people (or just myself) might be wrong.

on second thought.. i'll just wait to see what happens :P

swordshot 12-30-2009 03:19 PM

i agree with sos

Basil Dreadflint 01-02-2010 04:46 PM

Betting more with my heart than my head this week.

Steeler's need to beat the Dolphins.
Then they need either Ravens or Jets, (Preferably both) to lose.
AND they need Losses by the Texans, Jaguars, and/or Broncos.

I know it's a long shot, but I'll bet with the Steelers, and against as many of the others as I can.

(Dumb bets in some cases, but it's not about the gold, it's about the Playoffs.)

TooHip 01-04-2010 06:35 AM

Week 17 bets have been settled, Wild-Card round games are posted. Let the betting commence!

The Skirata Clan 01-04-2010 07:01 AM

Eagles over Cowboys, Cards over Packers, Bengals over Jets, and Ravens over Patriots.

Those are my picks.

Did The Steelers made it?

I think that my bets will be getting bigger.

swordshot 01-04-2010 01:35 PM

Err eagles go CRUSHED!

Tom Sharkwash 01-04-2010 01:52 PM

Well hopefully the Cowboys can pull off another victory over the Eagles.

The Skirata Clan 01-04-2010 08:13 PM

But they won't. My 100 say so.

Tom Sharkwash 01-07-2010 01:19 AM

We shall see about that.

Sven Osymthe 01-07-2010 01:24 AM

Well, I already have all my predictions ready... now lets watch them all be wrong!!

The Skirata Clan 01-07-2010 01:26 AM

Share them Sven-0... wait SvenO... sorry I forgot.

Sven Osymthe 01-07-2010 01:28 AM

No, not jinxing it.

The Skirata Clan 01-07-2010 01:31 AM

True... But maybe they can unjinx the jinx you placed on your team.

Tom Sharkwash 01-07-2010 01:36 AM

You probably don't want to hear mine, but I'll say them anyways.
Cowboys over Eagles
Packers over Cardinals
Bengals over Jets
Patriots over Ravens
- knocks on wood -

The Skirata Clan 01-07-2010 01:40 AM

We only agreed in Bengals.

Sven Osymthe 01-07-2010 01:41 AM

That is mine too, for the most part.

Cowboys beat Eagles - second favorite team.. so of course I want them to win.
Bengals beat Jets - I would like the Jets to win, so the Colts get an easier match, but I don't see it happening.
Packers beat Cardinals - I am not sure who I want between these two, they're both fun to watch... but then again, Packers could hand it to the Vikings now...
Patriots over Ravens - They have the better chance to make the San Diego match up good..

Tom Sharkwash 01-07-2010 01:41 AM

Well Bengals were holding out their good players against Jets so I'm going with them

Sven Osymthe 01-07-2010 01:44 AM

They had a lot of starters in at the first part, and their qb was doing awful. I want them to win, so they get Chargers, and Colts get Patriots or Ravens, but I would also like the Colts to show the Jets they let them have the record..

The Skirata Clan 01-07-2010 01:44 AM

The Vikings will beat The Packers if they play third time. Besides if Cowboys and Packers win their games Cowboys faces Vikings and Packers goes vs. Saints. Right?

Tom Sharkwash 01-07-2010 01:46 AM

If the Cowboys do face the Vikings, I wish them the best of luck.

The Skirata Clan 01-07-2010 01:47 AM

Yeah, the Cowboys will need it.

Sven Osymthe 01-07-2010 01:47 AM

Yes, if that happens, that will be the match ups. But if the Cowboys end up losing that match up, and the Saints continue their late fall, then it will be Packers vs. Vikings in the conference round. Considering they are completely different from the last time... and the fact the Vikings lost to the Bears... I am going with Packers in that situation..

But for it to even happen the Vikings have to win... and if the Cowboys beat the Eagles, they are the hottest team left.

Tom Sharkwash 01-07-2010 01:50 AM

Well I was actually talking about the Vikings needing luck, but the Cowboys will need a lot!

The Skirata Clan 01-07-2010 01:50 AM

But Romo doesn't take pressure. We have the Best Four Defensive Linemen.

And we don't need luck, we are skilled. Besides The Cowboys need to beat The Eagles first.

Sven Osymthe 01-07-2010 01:52 AM

He is having his best season yet (not record wise - just managing games). Plus... if Cutler can beat you guys, while he leads the league in interceptions (over multiple rookies), I think Romo has this.. :D

And you do need luck... Farve takes Mannings playoff trips to a new level..

The Skirata Clan 01-07-2010 01:54 AM

First beat The Eagles, then we'll talk about facing The Vikings.

Sven Osymthe 01-07-2010 01:57 AM

I would be hoping they would win Skirata... they lose, then the Vikings face the Cardinals - a team that literally beat them once.. either that, or a team seeking revenge.

The Skirata Clan 01-07-2010 01:59 AM

Yes, but Cards have Boldin out, plus Warner is not looking good.

The Skirata Clan 01-09-2010 09:15 AM

Colts might play Ravens, Bengals, or Jets. They play lowest seed avoiding Patriots.
Chargers might play Patriots, Bengals, or Jets. They play highest seed avoiding Ravens.

Saints might play Cardinals, Packers, or Eagles. They play lowest seed avoiding Cowboys.
Vikings might play Cardinals, Packers, or Cowboys. They play highest seed avoiding Eagles.

Ravens Vs. Patriots.
WR Wes Welker is out.

Bengals Vs. Jets.
LB David Harris is questionable.

Packers Vs. Cardinals.
CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is probable.
WR Anquan Boldin is unknown. It's unlikely that he will play.

Cowboys Vs. Eagles.
T Marc Colombo is probable.
RB Tashard Choice is probable.
LB DeMarcus Ware is probable. But expected to start.
RB Marion Barber is probable. But expected to start.
S Patrick Watkins is questionable.

Lets see if all those injuries don't affect the results. Good luck to all!

swordshot 01-09-2010 04:01 PM

Lets go eagles!!!!!!!
