If they add whirlpools and cyclones,they should also add Water Spouts in the sea,and Tornadoes on land.Imagine sailing through a Hurricane and suddenly you and your ship is sucked up by a Water Spout!

I really want a captains quarters for the ship. But it would mean having to
make the ship models bigger than they originaly intend to be and the sea and Islands have to be 5 times bigger. Mainly because it only takes only a minute and a half to get from 1 island to the oposite side. There should be some Mystery in the game. We should be able to sail the whole seven seas! Also in the captains quaters they should have some minigames you can play and stuff. You could look at the map and navigate. Another feature would be that for every certain quests you complete you could gain a map peice to uncover a rare treasure or discover a new Island with a boss you can beat to get Untold riches or something. That would be so awesome! |
Of course I want the same things as everyone else: increased notoriety, more levels, more and higher level enemies, etc.
In addition though, and I'm sure this is petty, but it's bothered me from day one; I'd like to be able to carry a weapon from one field into the next. ie; from Tort. into Misty Mire. Or from PDF into Lava Gorge and then from Lava Gorge into the Catacombs. Going through the tunnels, or portals, or whatever you want to call them, and having to redraw a weapon has always irked me. Also, again very petty, I'd like for my pirates to be able to carry a mug or jug around. You know, pirates were a rowdy lot. We have taverns - I can't see them being fussed with open container laws, lol. It would give your pirate a certain attitude. And, most of the day I've just been paying more attention to the geography than usual, and it's occured to me that there's loads of room for expansion on the existing islands. The town on Tortuga only takes up a small portion of the island. If I'm correct in my speculation there's an entire half of the island that is unused. I'd like for Tortuga, particularly, to be the rollicking town it is in the movies, with more callbacks to the original ride and the movies. Townies "painting the town red" if you will. Just little stuff. Mostly wouldn't affect game play but would add character and fun to the game. When I don't feel like going on a quest it would be fun to watch happenings of townies. |
Everyone says it, but MORE STORYLINES! Disney really needs to work on this.
Also, how about teleportation to certain islands? Or at least have the option when you log on to be at the island you were at before you logged out (aside from the teleportable islands, like Tortuga). It gets pretty repetitive sailing from cuba to tormenta, lol. And how about higher level enemies? It doesn't necessarily have to be new enemies, just higher level enemies with a different name perhaps? Urchin fists and molusks, etc. get pretty boring after a while. |
I've been having a recurring thought, so I decided to throw it up here. Feel free to tell me why it won't work - I'm sure I didn't think of all the drawbacks.
Historically pirates mainly acquired new ships by overcoming other ships and keeping them. Here's my idea: If you're in SvS you should be able to take on an NPC flagship. 1. Captain decides which members of crew will board - not all can (for a reason) 2. Crew boards and defeats NPC crew. NPC crew does not respawn 3. Crew that boarded must stay aboard the captured ship to defend it 4. New cannon would have to be added to the stern of each ship (usefull in open game anyway) 5. Captain's ship would use the stern cannon to grapple the captured ship's bow 6. Captain would tow captured ship to a non-wild island 7. Of course, both ships are much more vulnerable during this undertaking, but the reward is great 8. Crew of captured ship would keep any plunder gained during the tow. Captain would get his/her share, but crew on Cap's ship would not get a share. Same is true with Captain's ship - any plunder from there belongs to that crew only with Captain getting their share 9. Upon landing Captain has 3 options a) Keep the captured ship for him/herself b) Give or sell the captured ship to a crew member c) Captain can sell the ship to a shipwright 10. Player that ends up with ship must pay (and dearly) for repairs. Captured ship would then be colored differently (perhaps blond wood) to signify that it is plunder 11. Player with captured ship could then configure the ship to his/her liking, i.e. cannon placement, number of cannons (with a set limit, based on the class of ship), Captain's quarters, broadside configuration, and a pirate-designed flag to replace the original NPC flag. 12. The player with the captured ship would have a subtitle under their game name; Admiral! That's it. Whoever ended up with the ship would have a cool "look at me" item, Captains with lots of gold have another way to help friends get ships, and the ship customization that so many want could be implemented. And of course - there's the danger of treachery that is always a risk with pirates. The Captain agrees in advance to give the ship to so-and-so, but then reneges on deal upon porting. Good times ensue! (just kidding, but I wonder if this hasn't already happened with a player agreeing to "help" someone with gold at poker and then cleaned them out instead - Pirates!) __________________________________________________ ____________ Also, I'd like weapons dealers on Cuba. It's not a wild island - there's a shipwright and a gypsy healer there. If you were fighting alone on Tormenta this would be a HUGE benefit. __________________________________________________ ____________ And I'd like "dingle drops", as in Jack Sparrow's dingles. You would only have a possiblility of receiving a dingle drop against the new Boss enemies. Buttons from Navy bosses, stingers from Wasps, claws from Scorps, bones from Undead, etc. Then you could visit a tailor and pay to have them fashioned into items you could hang from your bandana, hair or belt. |

I think that I have posted my suggestions here at least once before. Did it fall on deaf ears? Probably, but after thinking about my suggestions, I have deceided to elaborate on them just a bit more...
Weather (at least while sailing): The Caribbean is notorius for Tropical Storms and Hurricanes. Many a true pirate ship was sunk due to poor sailing, but many made it through also. It would be very cool to have to captain your ship through a storm. Take that one step further...taking on another ship while dealing with the storm (i.e. The Pearl vs. The Dutchman in POTC3). Though I will say that having a malestrom is a bit much. Having storms pop up would be a great way to bring up sailing skill. If you should be unlucky enough to perish during the storm, maybe throw in going to "The Locker" instead of jail? Some one above me said that guilds should have building to call there own. I agree. When forming a guild, you would then have a base of operations to work out of. Add more places from the actual movies....Singapore would be really cool, and how about a real "ShipWreck Cove"? Isla de Muerta was replaced by Disney as the Devil's Anvil (probably due to the "death" thing). Just some random thoughts..... What do you think? |
I like the idea of having a Captains cabin aboard ship. This should also be a place where your pirate can change outfits rather than having to go to a clothing shop.
Our inventory of clothing items needs to be expanded and the game sure could use some better looking outfits, even items that could be combined into uniforms. Guildmasters need the ability to appoint a second in command and give that officer full powers as guildmaster. Also there needs to be an option for a guild master to step down and transfer control over to their second in command should that guildmaster decide to become inactive as a regular player. This helps keep the guilds active. and saves many headaches for guild members and officers alike. I'd like to see the ability to change the names of our ships as an option being able to create custom names for our ships provided that the names are approved and do not violate game rules for names. I'd also like to see a feature added allowing a pirate to later change the name of their character if they wish to do so again the custom name where you type in the name of your choice. Approval and game rules for names still apply. I'd like to see a teleport permissions feature added for our use while our pirates are on land as well as aboard our ships, and a walk the plank feature for getting rid of undesirable crew members when neccessary. Its been brought up in other threads but, I'd like to see adults only servers where adults players have more freedom . Where some of the general rules such as exchanging contact info with other players is relaxed. In the event that a player needs to report another player for bad or harrassing behavior I'd like to see a better system in place for doing so. In addition to the multiple choice report form I'd like to see an option for reporting the specifics of an incident. Some incidents don't show up on chatlogs such as an individual following you around and spamming you with endless friend or crew invites. Having a detailed incident report form allows the moderaters a chance to study the situation rather than simply respond to a Rude or harrassing behavior report which is way too generalized. |
It's probably already been mentioned (sry don't want to read 15 pages to see if it has) but , I'd like to see a bank. Only your own pirates could draw from your account up to whatever the current max lvl is but this way we could funnel maxed out sums from our lvl40's, that have nothing left to spend it on, to our new lower levels that need it. JMO

My suggestion to POTCO would be as follows:
1) A "Gift" button should be added to the game so that people can gift items to friends. 2) A new weapon called "CrossBow" ....so the weapon would be in the form of a Pirate Archer 3) Increase Level (from max lvl40 to Max lvl99) as many other online games have it and add more enemies with higher lvls as well. |
I would like the ability to be able to send a message to all your friends (or even make it selectable for individuals) at the same time, like the way you can in guilds. Actually I think it would be cool to make it selectable for individuals there too.

Like I saw earlier in another thread the ability to custimize spells on Voodoo doll and cast spells to cheat in poker.
Don't know if this is the first time this has been said or not, but The Kracken. A flagship with Davy Jones's crew would be a good one too. If anyone has seen POTC movies Davy Jones himself, but instead of being common as a Gravedigger in Port Royal have him only come once a month or whatever and have every weapon and move we have. Plus that thingamajig Jolly Rogers has as a new weapon. I think that's about it for me. |

How about necklaces? They could be found in buried chests, bought at jewelers, etc. They could be magical, cursed, tradable, sellable. There are many possibilities.

A treasure chest in which you can put all yer stuff, like all yer collectables and an amount of gold, once its full you bury it some where in the caribbean.
A pirate black market so that u can 'aquire' pirate treasure maps for a barterable price. When a pirate 'aquires' your map a message should pop up requiring u to accept the challenge of defending your treasure (like pvp) on accepting it you must dash across the caribbean with yer crew or guild mates to defend yer treasure. The more chests a pirate/guild/crew aquire the more notoriety they get as 'pirate raiders' (with a leaderboard) and they not only get the gold and collectables, (which are sellable on the black market for cash or weps upgrades) but they also get to fly a raider colour over their ships demonstrating their menace to all on the the high seas. Ok so its another form of pvp, and will probably require a different server, so that when you accept the challenge you are teleported to the same island that you were on or were last on (port of call) on the treasure seeking pvp server ready to begin yer dash. The challenging pirates start from the place they aquired the map in tortuga or port royal, adding to the risk factor because they may be nearer the treasure than you are. This would incorporate the chase factor of svs and the killability of pvp, as well as the sense of challenge we all need and the big battle scenario that you get from the boss battle. And it gives a purpose to having all those collectables. And it would be a right giggle too, heehee!! |
I think they should really just make more islands, and try to take a different look on the islands they remodel Im sick of the new prot royal, and the new tortuga. You know? I wish they would add shipwreck cove. I also wish they would add more flag ship islands like instead of just the french and spanish how about, French, Spanish, African, Indian, and Singapor. singapor should definately be added.

To go along with Richard Sharkbones' idea of a captains quarters. If you are below deck and are trying to go somewhere. You can have 2-3 npc pirates to sail your ship to an area you choose. Although, you will be notified if you are under attack, so you can take helm and defeat the enemy. After all, there can only be ONE captain. lol Also, you can edit the looks of your npc team. Ohh!!! That sounds really good. They can only help you on your ship. And if your npc-mate sinks a ship, you only get the loot, no rep, just to be fair. That would be a really good way to get your cannons leveld. As well as them just sailing, you can set there stats to "attack anything in sight" "be defensive, attack if u've been first", " or even "No time, get to our location ASAP!" I thnk not only will it bring more players to sailing, but bring back players to the game altogether!!

Does anyone remember Oxbay from Sea Dogs 2 Pirates of the Caribbean? Disney and Microsoft collaberated on that one so it would make a good little town similar to the old Port Royal.

I have sent a few new suggestions in... Many we've already seen and discussed (Adding a musket or blunderbuss to add more firepower, adding more bar games, etc.)
Recently I had an idea for folks wanting more dancing emotes. Why not give Musicians the ability to teach dances and musical instruments? This wont help you level, but makes things a bit more personal, involved and fun. Be nice to do more than jig or zombie. We need more things for rich pirates to splurge on, spend that gold they've earned. Also, I know a couple having suggested hand-to-hand skills. Easy game way to incorporate that - ADD SAO FENG! He could teach pirates some kung-fu moves (punches, kicks, etc.) and could add skills like Fists of Fury (a flurry of punches), Whirlwind (spinning kicks), Power Punch, etc. |
We are pirates, so we should punch, kick, etc. But that would change the rating of the game. I personally think we need some more things to do than just fight and chat. Take a look at the other MMORPGs. They have fishing, woodcutting, smithing, etc. All we have is, well, I've already listed all we can do. But I really think in game trade would be fun. Forge a weapon, sell it for a profit!

I agree that we could use more skills, BUT - as pirates we aren't earning our living via trades. We are earning it by plunder and pillage.
Maybe having gun and blacksmith apprenticeships would help improve our weapon skills? Or being an apprentice shipswright would let you repair at sea instead of in port? |

People could be bartenders, gunsmiths, blacksmiths, shipwrights, traders, pirates, smugglers,etc. They get gold and possibly notoriety. Pirates could attack them and plunder them during their work period as if it were PVP. The victor takes 1/4 of the enemy's gold and possibly some trinkets that they have. If the pirate wins, he gets whatever the worker sells. For example, a bar. If a pirate raids a bar, he would get gold and rum. The rum could then be sold on the market. Civilians can also level weapons,buy goods,etc. If they attack the Navy or EITC they will be marked as an enemy. Factions: They could also join the Navy, EITC, or Jolly Roger if they wished to. They all have their ranks, and are all ranked on their abilities and notoriety. For example, a cadet would get promoted for leveling up and defeating a pirate. Same goes for the EITC. When they are defeated they get sent to a healer. Thier uniforms can be stolen by pirates. Jolly Roger's forces get to be undead until they leave him. They cannot take secondary jobs, and must plunder at least 5 ships a day. Raiding islands is also acceptable. Like the recent invasions. When they are defeated they respawn at an area like the Catacombs or Murky Hollow. They only get 1/2 of whatever they plunder. Attacking fellow workers will get that player removed from that job and mark them as an enemy. I'll update the list in the future. |
Definately the kraken and being able to randomly fight it like a pvp it would take us and our ships to the middle of an ocean like it does with the bb only it has all the islands there but no other player ships are there then we can fight it.

ok, i'm sick of "EITC" guilds trying to invade/delete my guild, so MORE guild options.
Just Guildmaster, Officer, and Member is unsafe, so something like a 1st captain, 2nd captain and 3rd captain, the people you REALLY trust in the guild, and in the order you trust them only. They should have the powers of the guildmaster, except deleting another captain of the guild, or the guildmaster, or perhaps anyone.They should also be able to demmote an officer. The officers should NOT be able to delete members either. Only the guildmaster should be able to delete members, or demote other captains. An island that would have only shops and a meeting house, the whole island just for the guild, only guild members/officers/captains/guildmaster being able to tp to that island, and the island should be same on every server (you shouldn't be needing to switch servers to see someone from the guild on that island) and not even a friend should be able to tp to you, it should be an "only guild" area. Also, being able to have 2 or 3 guilds at the same time on each pirate, and online you first/primary/main guild should be visible under your name, the 1/2 other chat's colors should be: Purple for secondary guild Red for 3rd guild I think i made clear how much I don't want my guild to be terminated by a bunch of noobs, and these guild options would make it impossible for them to delete it.:dancetl6: |
A new skill! I got some staff ones.
Lightning Bolt! Temerarily sends and electric shock through the enemy. Lasts for 20 seconds. Makes all other skills stronger and does 300-600 damage by itself other skills increase by 15%. FREEZE! Freezes the enemy completely so they can not attack or move what so ever. Lats 10 seconds does 100 damage to the enemy. Blind! Blinds the enemy from attacking. Lasts 5 seconds. Blow! Makes the enemy stagger backwards. Lasts 15 seconds. Does 100 damage. Thats all I got. |

I'd like to see a message board for the guild and other pirates. Where you can leave messages for people who aren't online.
Also like to see where you can leave a message on your own pirate. Post quotes or moods. On the information card that comes up when you click on players. Plus be able to see the quests the pirate is working on (This would help when trying to help another pirate with their quest) I'd like to be able to purchase a necklace for my pirate. Also like to see a curly long haired style. Trading between pirates would be cool too. |

Guild Wide and/or Friend Wide Chat
I would like to see a guild wide and/or friend wide chat feature to send out blanket chats. This would be particularly useful for sending out pvp, svs, bb or invasion crew requests.

When ship panels break, depending on where the break is, add a "sinking" feature that includes something like the sailing timer (:psmiley27:) that counts down to the sinking.

Flags. Just have users make their flags, like in photoshop, or choose from flags. I already have an idea for my flag (if/when it comes out) Also, guilds should have flags, that the guildmaster makes. If these were implemented, I'd be a happy pirate.

Name change, at least once per pirate, would be awesome. Ability to change our physic, skin color would be nice too as we do get stronger and more tan fightin' in the Caribbean :) . Some better looking hair for us guys would be super cool too! Put the Kraken back in and add some crashing, rogue waves to the seas. Like we swing from ships allow pirates to swing from vines to pounce on an enemy. Just a few thoughts :xxxk0: :laughks2:

i would like if we had guild hangouts hideouts whatever i don't care what it called just a place were only the guild can get in to they could put the entrince at doors so u get the option to go into the building if it's possable to enter it. this would work mostly because there are tons of unused doors.

Ok I have a very long idea
A floating, disappearing, moving island. Jolly Roger's Lair! This island is very difficult to find, and moves around. The island is shrouded in black fog, and has a high mountain on it, but is only visible when you pass near it. It comes out in uncharted waters, stays there for a few minutes, then vanishes! It could reappear in an hour, a day, or a few days. It adds to the mystery! If you are lucky enough, or unlucky as the case may be, to land on this island, the island vanishes to the outside, and you are trapped on it until you log out or are killed. There is a beach about the size of Devil's Anvil Beach, with a cave entrance in it. The beach is deserted, and there is a green fog around, similar to an invasion atmosphere. There are no boats to launch your ship from, and you cant see the islands. When you enter the cave, BRING A CREW! The inside is a huge maze. You have no minimap at all. The objective is to get to the center of the maze, which has a staircase taking you to the top of the mountain, to Jolly Roger! The maze is filled with hundreds of skeletons, and they get stronger as you go deeper into the maze. You start out fighting gravediggers and bandits, and near the center, you fight new skeletons that are Level 40+, and lots of them. Remember, this maze has no map at all, so getting to the center is a real challenge. Finally, when you reach the center and go up the stairs, you come into a cavern with Jolly Roger in the center. He is slightly easier than he is in an invasion, and his health is decreased, but he is a huge challenge nonetheless! If you are killed, you cant be revived and you return to your port of call. If you succeed and beat Jolly, then you get a new skill (Ill leave it to you all to think of it) and you get some sort of legendary weapon. Takes breath OK! Thats it! Thats what i want POTCO to put in. That would give any mastered pirate a reason to play the game. |

Here are my ideas from an old thread I made.
Ships: I think the ship classes are fine, but they should bring back ships of the line from test in my opinion, the price was good, the hull was good, but there were some glitches, like you couldn't see from certain cannons, and you could walk through a certain wall. Other than that its just ship customization, you should be able to draw your own design for your sail, you should be able to write things on the side, people should be able to put up there own sails on a sail sharing thing or something and there should be preset sails. Then you should be able to go below deck, and into the captain's quarters, which should have entering permissions, which would be like ship boarding permissions execpt only a certain part of the ship, depending on the ship, ships would have certain below deck cannons that weren't like broadsides. ex. galleons would have cannons in the back and frigates would have them towards the back but on the side, sloops would have a few cannons in the captain's quarters. Then you should be able to move cannons, but they could only go in certain spots. You could also upgrade parts of you ship, ex. better cannons, better sails, (The look wouldn't change much for sails but they could go faster, they don't need to change much because they will let you draw on the sails) stronger hull, and more cargo room. Invasions: Why does jolly always do the same thing? I think Disney should change the invasions, so they aren't always the same, sometimes he'll send to or three massive ways, or just keep the skeletons coming. another thing is, when jolly invades, all the skeletons just sit there and act normal, they should join in, come out of the caves and jungles and help. When he invades port royal he passes alot of gravediggers doing nothing. On the other hand, on quiet servers i think the navy should come out of the fort and help, they already said the townsfolk put up the barricades. Why can't the navy protect them? Another thing is, before the invasion, the skeletons should come on multiple ships, not just won. You should be able to sink them before they port to make the invasion size slightly smaller. It would be like a little eitc fleet execpt with skeletons. Even if you defeat the whole fleet, jolly's ship comes out and destroys everything. Then it's just the toughest of his army and jolly. Pirateness: I know this is disney, but can we FEEL like pirates when we play this? I mean we seem like the good guys here, since when did pirates buy things, befriend and do quests for townsfolk and another thing, why dont we fight eachother? Then we just don't fight our friends guildmates and crew. It would be impossible to change now, the games been going on to long, im just asking to be able to raid towns and islands. Clothes: Clothing could be a bigger part of the game in my opinion. For example, a lot of games use clothing for health, speed, whatever. So I think it would be nice if some clothes gave you more defnse, like long coats, some boots gave you some extra speed, some vests or pants gave you more storage space, some hats gave you more voodoo and some shirts gave you more life. Some clothes would be better with certain skills. ex. you wouldn't want to have a hat give you more speed, or a pair of boots give you more voodoo. (I used hat for this because nothing else really fit) I know what a lot of you are thinking, but shields would be kinda cool. Some pirates must have had shields, they weren't just for knights. My last idea is privateering outfits. These could be bought from special tailors on porc or avaricia and once you collected the whole set (Boots, Hat, Vest, etc.) you could fight anyone wearing the opposite outfit on land or at sea. Except no guns, because you aren't undead. Weapons: Not much to put here, just the new types o weapons everyone wants, like axes, dual swords, and i even heard someone say something like a whip. I susspect disney might only add one or two fo these, if they add any. Pets: Well the only pets i could think of were parrot, monkey, cat, dog, horse, snake, alligator, lizard, scorpion, and crab. Players could buy up to three pets, who would gain rep with there owner by fighting with them and doing other things. They should make the notoriety lvl for pets 30, and there skills would go to 20. They would have three skills, fighting, stealing, and tricks, tricks would be just for fun sorta. Then each pet would have there own skill, a monkey might revive you if you die, an alligator might have a special attack, a dog might be able to go get you ammo and tonics when you can't. You could only take 1 pet out at a time and the other two would be in your "Pet Menu" or something. I think having to feed pets is a horrible idea. Since when was the last time you fed your pirate? Animals shouldn't have a need bar or anything. They would all start as lvl 1 with 1 on all skills. And they would all cost the same ammount, 5000+ gold or something, pets would be very useful. For basic, they could have one pet, one type, a parrot, that could only lvl up to lvl 10 with 5 on everything. EITC fleets: I like the idea and it all seems fine, just some minor things... First i think they should tell you where the fleet is coming from, so you know where to wait, next i think that the huge ship of the line should be a flagship, because lets face it, there kinda short. There nice and hard unless you have a great big crew (my crew of 12 sunk 3 ships of the fleet without sinking or porting, won was the ship of the line, and that was mostly single-handed, well single-shipped) but do you really think they would give up that easily? i got a ride on won on test server before they took them off, and they have lifeboats so it would make more sense to board them then just sink them. It could be 12+ lvl 30-40 EITC soldiers or navy officers. Finally, (and this isn't just for the fleets) if a ship destroys another ships sails, then sinks themselves and the other ship lives, it makes it impossible to destroy there sails and they can still move freely. That should really be fixed. Boss Battles: The current one is fine, just a little short. It should start with a land battle, fighting toward the pearl. Then you talk to the fighting officers and board the ship. Same thing applies until you reach the Goliath. After that you just sail to Tortuga, but it automatically disables the broadsides and cannons. If someone tries to use them it says something like "You don't need to use this skill at this time." Then you port and talk to jack, then Disney foreshadows the next story chapter then removes it without a word a week later just so it will be vague. Not a lot but it just seems kinda sudden. Lookout System: There should really be more options in the lookout system. Like for a boss battle, you can choose to do it alone, or choose an amount of people to invite, who to invite, and from where or what servers. I think it would also be cool to be able to bet on pvp and svs, whether it's betting on your own pvp or someone else's. I also had two new ideas for "games" 1. Capture the flag: Let's say there are two players, they each start on one side of the pvp area, decided randomly, and decide to put something in a chest. the other person has to accept and put their own item up, the other person then accepts and the game begins. They have to fight their way to the other side, but the difference is that if they die, the have to wait 10 seconds before they respawn. If there is a team, then there could be some type of jail system. all the other player has to do is take the booty. (This would clearly come after trading, or people would use it to cheat) 2. Trading this is one of my ideas for trading, (see trading) someone would send out a lookout and when somebody agrees to trade they go into a room like the parlor games room except no tables. The other player's inventory and your inventory come up. You get to put something up for "sale," meaning that you will accept the item for certain things. ex. gold, clothes weapon. Then they can accept the deal, try to give you something else, or reject it. Then you could ask them for an item, say something like 10,000 gold for that famed sabre. Then they could make you another deal, accept, or reject. So basically you can ask them if they wanna buy something or ask them for something. Trading: I have two ideas, The first, and my favorite, is the same thing as shown above in "lookout system" except instead of going to your own place, just staying where you are, the two people have things above their head that say, TRADING or something like that. The second is a trading post type of thing, you put an item up for sale, for a certain price, a certain weapon, or whatever and someone else excepts it. The other way would be the same thing except you just put the item up, someone else gives you a price they want to pay or something they want to trade, you get a message and you press accept or reject. PVP servers: Maybe they could change up the server menu a little bit, make it more orderly. Add two main sections, Regular And Pvp, then regular would have quiet, ideal, and full. Pvp would have team pvp, two random teams, mayhem pvp, everyone is everyone's enemy, guild pvp, guild vs guild, and crew pvp crew vs crew. Realism: How come there are all those empty chairs at the taverns? Because sitting is to complicated for pirates online. We do if for poker, why can't we sit at a table by pressing shift, and then spend some money on rum? It's all im asking disney. I think a few other things that would be really cool would be weather. Where is the rain? Does it storm every time i leave or something? I dont think so. Maybe lightning, rain, earthquakes and hurricanes even. Padres has little earthquakes, well lava anyway... Fleets: I would really like to see pirates have fleets, like a crew, except the ships are the people, the have a fleet list of what ships are in it, and a flet chat. People can pull there ship up to another persons in the fleet and have them hand off cargo to each other. This would be good for looking for a ship, eitc fleets, and other sailing things. All of the ships in a fleet, max size 12, will have info that comes up when someone sinks someone else, for example The Wicked Witch Has Sunk A Juggernaut. Later they could add some type of a fleet revival system, if someone sinks then someone else has a certain ammount of minutes to rescue them on their lifebats before they get captured. They could also get a fraction of the treasure from the shio onto theirs. This could somehow go with trading. Build Your Own Weapon: An idea that many of us have mentioned is building a weapon, so it could go something like, your fighting dark hart when you get a loot chest, in the chest there is a cutlass part. Cutlasses need at least two parts, sword and handle, and some swords and some handles have different abilities. Each weapon can have up two 5 parts, one of each different part, a sword, a handle, and three add ons. They would have predetermined names made by disney for each possible combination, these could only be made not found. They would also be rareish drops, a crude would come at about the rate of a common weapon, a common would come rare, a rare would be famed, famed would be legendary, there wont be any legendary. Loot: How did disney decide the loot system again? Not well from my point of view. What gravedigger would give legandary weapons? Just modify it a little so it's slightly less random. Then I would like more types of loot containers, and not a rating on which loot container it was, how about theres a real rating for what is inside? If i got a famed weapon from a loot pouch would the rating still be one? NO! If all i got was gold and a crude weapon from askull chest would it be 5? NO! I'd like a LOOT POUCH: Gold, 5-50, dropped from all enemies, usually with ammo and always with gold almost never a weapon, enemies 1-50. SMALL LOOT CHEST: Gold, 50- 150, dropped from alot of enemies, always with ammo and sometimes a crude sword 10-20. LARGE LOOT CHEST: Gold 200-300, dropped from some enemies, always with ammo, almost always a crude or common wepaon, sometimes treasure, clothing 20-30. ROYAL CHEST: Gold 300-400 dropped from few enemies, Mainly lvl 25+ Navy, common to rare weapon. Occasional famed, treasure is common, ammo is guraneeted, clothing. SKULL CHEST: Gold 450+ always with ammo, rare or famed weapon, rarely legendary, clothing. Treasure is guareented 35+ or a boss. HOLY CHEST: 45-50 EXTREMELY RARE 800 gold, famed or legendary weapon, ammo, treasure, clothing. |

Storage area on the ship or Be able to bury treasure
Where pirates and we should be able to bury our treasure . I love all the great weapons they added to game but with the inventory being limted amount of space . I am just tired of throwing away good weapons and other items . We should be able to bury treasure or some kind of locker or storage area to our ship have ability leave items on our ship . I think ship storage area is best way because it could have inventory very similar to players inventory and i think it would be easier to secure that way. Just idea i had

I think we need houses. it would be something only you could see, and like you could open the map and press tp to house. you should also be able to have a captains cabin, and be able to rend a room in a tavern. whats so hard?
Hundreds of new islands with ARMIES of skeletons/navy/eitc on them. give something to do for maxed. I made up a raiding idea, but i think making it treasure map like would be more sensible. whats to lose? fleets should give may more loot. and i love Jasons looting system. Pets are epic, i think everyone would like them. I think we should see much more of navy/eitc/jolly evil. you may say well pirates are the bad guys but in every quest you do it seems like we are freedom fighters, and the navy/eitc/jolly are tyrants. if you have any evidence that goes against my claim, please show me. may i remind that this isn't real life? it doesn't matter what real pirates did. |

new ship types like mega sloop/frigate/galleon which are only useful for one job like mega galleon 25 cargo but only 6 speed and 4 cannons mega sloop 15 speed but 2 cannpns and 2 cargo and mega frigates 20 cannons 2 cargo and 6 speed (these are more useful in next idea fleet system) and elites which are only usefull with fleets elite sloop speed 20 cargo 0 cannons 0/1 elite galleon speed 4 cargo 40 cannons 0/1 and elite frigates speed 5 cargo 0 and cannons 30 completly new ships like schooner and brigantine with their own light normal war mega and elite forms and dingies 2 cargho 1 cannon (can fire in all directions except behind) 5 speed and 1 broadside but can be used to go between ships in fleet system as a lifeboat taking a small proportion of crew and cargo but you must get to it in 30 seconds can also go straight from land to open sea by going to the waters edge using an option in sea chest to launch dingie and sailing straight out where you can either take your chances in a dingy or boarding a ship by sailing up next to it and if the boarding permissions say you can boarding. fleets this is like crews and could be used in the same way to make a fleet click on a ship and select add to fleet the crews captain is then asked whether they want to join the fleet if they accept they can leave anytime but losing any plunder in their ship given to them by a different ship on the fleet your own ships are automatically added to the fleet when launched. all the ships on the fleet appear on the sea map and you can transfer plunder between ships or sail between them yourself using a dingy. there is a fleet menu like the crew menu telling you the name of the ship the captain the fleet(the captain could set someone as acting captain if they had more than one ship)the fleet commodore and how much plunder it has you can transfer plunder either through dingies or using a menu and you could set an option for all of your plunder or all fleet plunder gets moved to one ship until it is full so you could use one ship as a loot carrier and another ship as the one that gets the cargo this is where the mega ships become useful when a ship ports the cargo is given to each member of the fleet and instead of the ship name a captain name comes up but there should be a time limit if he doesnt relaunch his ship to get booted off the fleet. new jobs on ships (lookout in crows nest with telescope could buy better telescopes from shipwright or hoisting the sails to make the ship go slightly faster and turn tighter) island speciality items this is already used on clothing where each island has a different selection if this were used on ships and tatoos it would be awesome weather some none damaging weather (rain, snow) and some that could hurt you (lightning, Whirlpool) dual wield weapons including mix and match like a dagger and a gun at the same time unless the weapon is two handed some sort of banking system like burying treasure so you dont have to throw away good weapons and thats all i can think of at the moment ill add more when i think of them |

hmm here's a quick idea that occured to me and a couple of friends whilst making potions in Cuba.
How about if we had potions that created pets other than the chicken? Like a 'summon parrot' potion, or a 'summon monkey'? They could be time limited like the chicken and would also encourage people to keep going with potions....or they could be plunder only.... Just a thought. No idea how easy or difficult this would be. |

Mail Carriers.
Like eagles, owls, parrots, ect When you whisper to someone, or talk in guild, you as usual press enter after typing. When this happens, a animation goes and a bird(different types to buy and choose from) is on your arm, close to your hand. Soon, it flies off your shoulder into the sky and you wave to the bird. When you get a response, another animation comes, and the bird flies back and you let out your arm and the bird lands on it. Then the text appears up.(IN BATTLE, IT DOESNT SHOW UP UNTIL YOU ARE FINISHED WITH YOUR BATTLE.) This was just something that popped up because its kinda boring that this is a pirate game, and that you just talk and people can see. This would just affect the looks when you get/send a message. There are different types of birds, and different weights. TYPE OF BIRD ------------- EAGLE OWL FALCON PARROT RAVEN SEAGULL (And for April Fools, A penguin) WEIGHTS --------- Large- Travels slow, but can apply 10 more letters in each message(a message expansion on chatting) Costs 100 gold. Medium- Travels moderate, no message expansion. Costs no gold. Small- Travels fast, but can hold only 10 letters less than moderate chat box. Costs 100 gold. The weights also affect how they look. A owl, for example, for large, would take up three times your hand size. A owl for medium would take up twice the times of your hand size. Small owl, however, can fit in your palm. This probably wont be sumbitted, because to get more messages or to get faster travel, it costs gold(and it has animation) but just a little idea I had. :piratewheelgo2: |
I like the idea of adding weather and changing cloud patterns. Some days it can be sunny, sometimes cloudy, sometimes rainy, sometimes windy. And there can be really big storms and when you go out to sea, there are waves, instead of the ocean being so dead calm all the time. It wouldn't damage your ship though, just make sailing more interesting.

I would love weather to be added very much, however I personally don't think that they need insane natural disasters and freak thunderstorms. Some simple rain and different lighting effects would be cool though.
Also, wind would be a great addition while sailing. It would add a lot more strategy. For example, sailing directly into the wind should be basically impossible, therefore routes must be altered and SvS strategies would be changed. |
