Also Dual Rusty Cutlasses. HInt of dual wielding I see...

Also what's with the animal idol things? That is kinda weird and hey! a jack the monkey Doll :D

Quetzalcoatl, wonder what in heck's name that is. Also who in the world is Montezuma?

Hopefully this ties into the story quest, if not then :(

Do remember mate, this ould also be a list of certain weapons that enemies are holding. Though I would love to Dual Weild, it may not be on the horizon.

Note that according to the files, throwing knives are supposed to recharge throwing skills faster! The descriptions of the weapons are also listed here, but it'll take me forever to pair them up with the right weapons.

Speedway Master, when the daggers come out I'll have a complete (for the most part) list of the Dolls, I'll let you know if any further devlopements are made with the Dolls and work on the daggers and they are slowly discovered.

Maybe the developers are trying to add a taste of reality into the upcoming events? Veracruz, Portabello, and Maracaibo were thriving and well fortified city ports during the Golden Age of the Spanish Main. Any pirate looking to make his fortune and reputation would have hunted just like Francis Drake and Henry Morgan - for the heavily laden troves awaiting transport. Mayan, Incan, and Aztec gold weighed down galleons from these places - and tempted many pirates to their demise. What if the new 'islands' were just ports in the form of treasure maps? The possibilities are endless...........

Quetzecotl is (if I remember correctly) the center of the Aztec culture, and Montezuma was their great King.

Quetzacoatl was the Feathered Serpent: The Aztec's main god.

All I can say is.... That is alot of weapons...! If those new weapons ever come out, will we have room for them? Decisions, decisions.....

CarribeanThunder 07-30-2010 05:06 AM

Not sure if this has already been posted, but I do believe the "Knives" are not their own type of weapons - they sound more like additional throwing dagger ammo sets - like the ones we already have ( Which coincidentally are all named after snakes - The Asp, Puff Adder, Sidewinder and Viper ).

The Dual Rusty Cutlass sounds very fun...
El Dorodo sounds like our next legendary person along with El Patron...
It seems soon we'll be robbing Jack Sparrow's weapons...
The Spyglasses sound more like accuracy boosters, but most likely not.

I believe they ARE their own type of weapons, since they're listed under the weapons list. It allows faster recharge times on throwing skills.

Where will we have to be going in the OLD and NEW worlds... hmm

This is based on Europe history, old world meant Europe, new world meant America. When Eroupians discovered North America, it was a land they didn't know before, so it was named "new world" just like they called china "the far east" because it was east of Europe.

A about lost world i don't know what that is.. but Europiens were very supersticious.

Buut there was like 50 knives... then we would get 50 new dagger skills? If POTCO made that for us i would be really happy lol, getting tired of the old 5 dagger skills.

ruisen2000 07-30-2010 02:26 PM

A lot of the weapons listed belong to imcomplete weapon groups on the wiki and would help the wiki a lot... but the wiki seems to always miss very important info.. lol

muffin pirate 07-30-2010 03:15 PM

My favorite repeater is the wicked repeater....

CarribeanThunder 07-31-2010 12:46 AM

The one thing that also interests me is this "Heart Of Padres Del Fuego." It's the only weapon on the Cutlass list ( That I payed attention to ) that doesn't have "Cutlass" or "Blade" in it's name.

This weapon sounds like it'll get lots of attention like the Lost Sword we currently have...

ruisen2000 07-31-2010 05:13 AM

El Dorodo is probably the chief (leader) of the new clan potco mentioned that made the daggers.
Also Orangutan repeater is a released weapon, some pirates have already found it.
I believe all these events you guys mentioned happened centuries before the pirate age, POTCO should change their motto from "Play as a pirate online, for free!" To "learn history online, for free!"
