Any news on the conclave? my pirate has bee waiting for instructions, he is all sad all by himself (with no guild)

First off, The Elite Dragon Squad and Eternal Warlordz have been accepted in to the Conclave! Welcome, mates!

Also, I will be posting the details on the Conclave's first official event either tonight or tomorrow, depending when I find the time to do so. Be sure to keep an eye on this thread, mateys!

Of course there has. But this really isn't an alliance - it just a gathering of guilds, that like to come together and partake in events. Whatever your percieving it as, I'm sure your looking at it not as the way it actually is :)

And, besides, you know me, Kris. Just because it has failed before, doesn't mean that'll stop me ;)

Well it depends, if the people who run it fail the thing is gonna fail no matter what. If you are gonna blame anyone OR anything, I think it should be the people who failed, I mean seriously?. not the actual things. Things don't work on their own until people make it work. But that doesn't mean that instantaneously you would have to assume and say something would fail, just because it failed before, when the dynamics are different, but chances are, and changes are for it to succeed as well. If we use real world logic you would have to learn from the mistakes, and see what specific piece failed in the first place. Doesn't means you have to throw away a Mercedes just because it has a flat tired .. you know..

Don't blame the homework for not doing itself.. blame the kid for not doing the homework..

Raid on Raven's Cove!
 

As a way to officially kick off The Pirate Conclave, I invite all guilds with The Conclave to join us for a night of good, ole fashion, pirate fun!

We'll be sailing out to the dreaded island of Raven's Cove, where we will explore the remains of the devasted island, putting to rest any of those pesky Rage Ghosts that be crossing our paths! We will then ascend our way up the lift, where we will proceed our way on to the rope bridge for a screenshot (yes - the first official picture of the Conclave! Be sure to look spiffy!) After that, we'll get down and dirty, and head in for our final assault - an all-out raid on El Patron's Mine! And, if we're lucky, we may even get a chance to do battle with El Patron himself!


First off, all members of The Conclave, and their guild mates, are welcome to join. As long as a guild joins and is accepted before the date of the event, they can also join in. ONLY Pirates that are in a Guild that is within The Conclave may attend!

We will be meeting up at Tortuga, down by the main docks, on the Capellago server. I will be crewing up with the Guildmasters/Representatives of each guild, so that communication can flow from me, to them, and their guilds. I expect that each guild will be there at least 10 minutes before we head out of port, so that we can get organized, and start everything on time. If your late, we will not be waiting for you!

EACH AND EVERY PIRATE IS TO BE ON THEIR BEST BEHAVIOR! If a pirate acts out, or misbehaves, the guild they are from may recieve punishment!

as we have a few member guilds i think it's time to establish the counsal. though elcetions won't ocure for quite a while i think it is time to establish the basics of the council. also this council was established at the same time as gm became an elected office (see the old thread).

And Captain Del, do we have to join the pirate conclave guild or can we stay in the one we're representing?

If by that, you mean which pirate you use for the event, you can use your regular pirate, so long that it's in a guild I can identify as in the Conclave :)

Also, Countainer, I'm confuzzled - what exactly is the purpose of this "council"?

Still just a little bit confused, sorry for not understanding. So I can keep that pirate in the guild it's in, and put another pirate in the pirate conclave?
