Im Glad They Are Making More Movies For Guys. All You Ppl saying that Removing Princess moves are killing hopes & dreams of littles girls, since when has disney made moves for guys that gave little boys hopes & dreams?
tarzan - makes them wanna run around with a lon cloth hitting themselfs on the chest ( nice thing to do when your 20 years old )
i mean really, i can name thousands of movies directed just for girls but anything that has to do has to be for both. tarzan - he has all that " mushy gushy" stuff for that gril that boys think is icky. & thats why they r drected to both genders. i mean, they barely have 20 movies directed just for boys, Tron is 1.
Girl Moves-
Beauty & the beast
snow white
princess & the frog
Hanna Montanna
so forth....

Boys & girls -
bolt
wizards of waverly place
suit life of zack & cody
|| || on Deck
good luck charle
phineas & ferb
Fish hooks
sonny with a chance

Boys-
zeke & luther,
Avengers,
kick buttowski,

See The Majority?????

Some of the guy ones aren't even only guy. The thing is, boys would hardly ever watch something like Beauty and the beast, but a girl might watch a more guy type of movie or show. It makes it seem like more of these are for girls.

I think it's a great idea to make movies for boys but I don't think they should give up on the girls altogether. A combination of both would be great!

A combination eh?

If girls like princesses.... and boys like action movies... a Princess who has to fight an army of evil robots who want to take over the world! The Princess has a whole stash of weapons that she can blow the robots up with, and of course she falls in love with her second in command!

Rofl, that was just for grins. I do like the idea of having combinations of the two though.

LOL! I meant doing both types of movies but yes, a combination would be even better haha! I would definitely see that movie, Davy! ;)

Disney desperately needs movies oriented towards males, at least about 5-7. As a guy I feel left out and ignored by Disney. Everything nowadays made by Disney is for young children or girls. That is fine, but Disney needs to remember that the audience they had when they really started making modern blockbusters has grown up and millions of them are males. I really think that Disneys latest films have been stale and unoriginal, I mean who hasn't heard the story of Repunzel, and the Princess and the Frog was only changed a little. Pixar is making the quality movies at Disney ( Who didn't like Wall-e? ). I think to appeal to it's original audience, Disney should make a movie that's more PG-13 than G. Definitely not anything too bad, but more movies like POTC.

I believe that the planned 2013 film "Maleficent" (based on the Sleeping Beauty villain) which might star Angelina Jolie, may be POTC-esque. Not sure though. But it would be based on the story from the villain's point of view, and yes, it's Live-action. There's also a possibility of a very far future crossover between these series', so I've heard.

Alice in Wonderland and Prince of Persia probably appeal to both boys and girls. You have to take the ENTIRE list of both TV shows AND movies. I'm noticing a bunch of movies that would appeal to everyone. Also, don't judge a movie unless you've actually SEEN it. I've seen most Disney movies, and I think quite a lot of them would appeal to everyone. Tangled wasn't too bad, now was it?
