Hmm...Don't think the dev's at Disney are sitting around right now wondering what's for dinner. In fact, I really doubt they will get time to eat, or sleep, or see their families until this is fixed. Whether this was ready for open or not-it's there along with big problems. But, as stated earlier-it's not just POTCO-other Disney sites are affected. You all are pirates & can weather any storm. So, batten down the hatches, mates-This Too Will Pass...

I've seen that some people are able to get on at least somewhat, or at least get to the sign in screen. I can't even hit the play button on the main page. It's greyed out. *sigh* Ah well, mates, back to swabbin' the decks until it all gets figured out!

Relax! I have a solution for those who can't wait for good things...

1) Find something to do.

2) Do that for an hour.

3) Check if the problem is fixed after an hour.

4) Repeat until the problem is fixed.

Thank you drive thru.

Mr Awesome ! We all know that we have no choice but to wait, and waiting is not a problem! That does not mean that it is right and proper that for days now we have been constantly messed around, and hey ho! it is always out of Disneys control, I might add that a lot of these closures fall into evening playing time for UK players, which seems unfair, as we do all pay the same! so maybe people letting off a little steam is quite in order considering the circumstances.:dancetl6:

My thoughts exactly! And I'm almost postitive it's NOT some cool new update considering the fact that Toontown is down also. One would think an industry like Disney would have a little more "control" and possibly the best firewalls known to man...

You can now log in on the launcher, however, after "Retrieving version Info" it says:

The site is closed for maintenance
but then updates the game for you.
and then encounters an error.

Dang it! I really wanted to get at it with my LIVE pirate, not test pirate.

It is an update. Unless they decide to rescind it, the Scoundrels of the Seas updates was in effect this morning.
