Yes. I was on here once and like.. I haven't spoke to ANY of my friends all day and they were offline ALL day. I then saw something in the chat. "ENRIQUE......" I saw. The sender was called Kelpbrain.

i had the same thing happen to me! only the other way around. i was talking but i could not hear other players talking back. then i got on an island and i hear them all responding to my chat at the same time and saying slow down. o and some times if the connection to the server is lost while you are typeing something your chat is still open and you can talk but not hear them it is fun when you log back in and you hear people talking about a ghost pirate talking on the oean but not responding to them but just speaking random stuff!

This happened to us last night. We were sailing around, and we kept seeing someone else saying the "Hey! Over here!" taunt phrase. The person wasn't on the ship with us, and there were no other ships in sight.

yea i got that yesterday while out sailing.

there were ships in sight but only just a little to far to talk to :piratear:
