Agreed with Wheelsim 100%.
It does get boring bland, when there is nothing you can do, but chat.
Is it worth the subscrition to talk? Sometimes yes, but mostly no. Money is Money.

If you look at it like this, the game itself has been around for about 1 year, Beta included.
The Game has only been open to the public for a while now. Im guessing there is room for imporvment.
Props to disney though for going all out with POTCO. I mean there is even it's own Phone Line!

Then again, how many other games has disney left in the slums, to leave it to get boring.
(Ex-VMK players?)

Yes and no.

The really BIG limiting factor is the max of 100 rep per enemy (barring double rep and crew bonuses).

Right now, a level 10 guy with a doll can get 100 rep for killing a level 18 navy guy. Does it make sense to up his danger level by taking on a level 40 Urchinfist, knowing that the thing does enough damage in one punch to kill him? All for the same measly 100 rep?

So while having someone let you rep-leech is easier, it's not really less dangerous. ESPECIALLY now that enemies will up and attack a secondary target. Additionally, the rewards aren't proportional to the danger. If it were, you'd see guys jumping multiple levels on a single kill assist.

I think they should up it to 60 first, create a new story quest, when people max that out, go up to 80, another story quest and so on and so forth. That way there is always expansion, new islands, new NPC's, new quests to be had new plunder even and ships.

Leveling up to 100 or higher is to much for a new level cap. Every six months our so another twenty levels is fine. Keep in mind not everyone is as dedicated or has the time as some other players do, this gives all the players a good amount of time before the next expansion is added.

if not notoriety levl caps going up why not the weapons and just add more boss battles to the game like one with jolly roger or one with davy jones and the kraken?

I agree, I only voted 300, because it was stated as the "MAX" notoriety. Raising it to that all at once, with no additional content/changes which I think would be required in making such levels possible would be counterproductive.

Would be nice if the capped players had some sort of overflow, that may not count toward notoriety, or weapons skills, but could be counted.

+0 Rep + 0 Crew Bonus + 0 Double Rep bonus, was... well... A waste of my time!

I think 40-50 is fine, let's get the weapons level higher than 25 and give us a new island with some mobs higher than lvl 40.

I have to vote for 60 for now, and then we can see how things are going in terms of glitches, tech problems, etc and if all goes well, let's go for 120! :D

Aye, I agree with this step. May be something they raise over time as content is added, and weapons/levels, etc.
