Can't Piper just set up camp in Governor's Garden, popping off low level enemies for +25, until she hits 40? Doesn't the Tortuga jeweler have a quest you can drop part way through and start over, for faster rep?

I think I'm going to make it. I still need 10K in rep to hit 40, but I have about 13K left in weapons. Doll almost mastered, about .5K left. Pistol, Cutlass, and Dagger each have about 1K left. Cannons are only at level 22, so 10K left there. That comes to 13.5 K. Give or take a few hundred.

I was gonna try to do a lot this past weekend, but snow storms and sick family kept me from getting as much done as I had wanted.

I guess I could, but since I have other things I could do on the other pirates for real rep, I'm probably just going to wait for them to release the next round of pointless weapon quests. LoL

Oh, and I've finished all the side quests, so no luck there.

And when it comes to lousy weather, I feel your pain. We're in a blizzard right now... I want to go back to CA! :tongue8:

I don't know Piper. Mary has done the exact same quests that I have, is slightly further along on the Pearl quest, (Just a little, since I have only done the absolute minimum.) and she fully mastered all weapons and skills, and barely got into level 39. When I first started this, I calculated that ALL weapons and skills should get you to high 38/ Low 39 level, and that the side quests MIGHT push you to 40. That has been my goal since Purvis was level 5, to hit 40 without doing the Pearl quest. But I had already visited Gibbs the first time, so I had to find a good place to stop, where I wouldn't be "forced" into doing any more of it.

As I stated below, Purv is 1% done with Pearl, 3% done with "The List", first task on first pirate, Pidgeley. I may have picked up a couple hundred rep from the Pearl quest before I found a good hold point, but no more than a few hundred.

And, I have done NONE of the SvS quests. All other side quests are done.

Maybe the game is biased against the girl pirates!!!!!

True Basil, but Mary is only lev 22 sailing and 21 on cannon, and you KNOW I'm not mastering grenades (lev 24...9 points in...works for me) So I could master her without any more of the Pearl with just sailing and cannon, have about 16k to go, but i'd rather at this point get her set up for the BB. Maybe I'll build Ms Killigrew without the pearl...we'll see. ;)

On DisneyXD, you can check how many enemies these two pirates have defeated, right? Take that number times 2.5 (you get +25 on 10% of enemies) and it should account for the difference, right?

Well, Piper's listed at 12,859... Can that be right?

ETA: Regardless, it looks like Purv's over 18k. So, yeah...that treasure must really add up.

Purvis made level 40 with a minimum of completion of the Pearl quest. Almost none!

EDIT: As an Oh By the Way: Purv accomplished it with exactly 100 unspent skill points. By keeping his skills low, he earned 433 rep on that last defeating of Tim using Pistol, Dagger and Cutlass.
