Captain Walter was amazingly behind schedule, just getting TO abassa. The other GMs seemed to be sticking stricktly to the schedule. Found Captain Walter on the last island. I tried to ask him if it meant just looking like skeletons, or would it be actual PvP everywhere. He stayed in "role" so the answer is a little unclear, but seems to say that it is full-on-PvP. Captain Walter said something like "Undead don't know if ye are friend or foe."

Man, wouldn't it be nice to have a chat log?

Aye - sorry to say Zeppers it really does look like skellys and pvp ('anything goes' - thanks Edward, that was good information).

It looks like a quest thing tho - you'd have to get artifacts. Probably dig up chests or kill undead to get them. So maybe not all bad :pirate6:

Im not too much in PvP myself, but I do love SvS. It might be a fun change of pace tho.

Guess ill have to boycott POTCO on Halloween :(

All kidding aside, that is a good day of the year to be offline! Well, it might be only during the "game night-time" portions, when the moon is out. (The moon is always full in POTCO, right?) The PvP glitchers will gravitate to Tortuga/Abassa so it may be pretty much OK, everywhere else.

I managed to find Thatch Roberts and Captain Walter, one of them said hardly anything, kinda stood for two minutes in silence and whenever he was asked a question would mention the Halloween curse over and over. However the other one (lol i dont remember which was which anymore) got things done and said it would only be in moonlight that the curse is dangerous, so i assume if you stay away from moonlight or hide you can't get killed like pvp? As well as the curse can be broken. Also, he took a screeny of three of us holding siege charges :laughks2: and mentioned new weapons will arrive prior to the curse.

They were bombarded with friend requests and people throwing tantrums and getting their fingers stuck on the caps button hehe
