Well the mer-folk could be npc's. And I thought the undead Maitres was female. Anyway here are some enemies.

Level 40-46: Aztec Warrior. Would use cutlass.
Level 24-33: Aztec Grenadier. Of course, grenades, bur seige charge and fire bomb.
Level 2-6: Giant poisonous toad. Would use its tonge for a hit. And could stun you.
Level 10-17: Undead Thief. Uses gun with hex eater shot and silver/steel shot.
Level 6-15: Giant poisonous toad boss. Same attack as regular frog just more damage.

Well thats all I got lol.

I'm sure they could add in women enemies. I'd certainly like to see a woman boss to make the game more interesting. Elizabeth became the Pirate "King" so why shouldn't there be a mini EITC, Navy, or undead woman boss?

Or they could do what the Pirates of the Caribbean ride does and make women that go around beating us pirates with pots and pans. Something to the movie effect would be nice. Maybe an actual ghost lady like from the second pirate movie when Elizabeth used her cloths to scare everyone.(or was it third)

Any new enemy would be great. As long as there's something fresh in the game to keep us busy I'll be happy.

Should be a lady. Warlock is the correct term for a male witch. I like the lady with the pots and pans thing. That would be hilarious!

What if a woman was sailing her own ship? Couldn't like say, an EITC Maiden Sail a Juggerna- wait no, a Sea Viper?

I agree with you on this one. In the movie a women sailed a ship. I'm a girl. Nothing bad happened to my ship. I was fine.

Artemis was a greek goddess. We're a little bit out of her jurisdiction...

Eliza Creststeel 12-01-2009 05:17 PM

Angel,

Historically, it was superstition to have women aboard ships at all. Likely, this is stemmed from how bad lonely men would behave or get distracted from duty while at sea.

Obviously, women did sail. There are many stories of nautical women, including some of the most notorious pirates (the most powerful pirate in history was a Chinese woman, who commanded an entire fleet of ships).

It is still an issue that POTCO has not evened the genders by making more female enemies, except like the Hive Queen. EITC agents, female pirates, female native warriors, etc. are all possible.

Sadly, I think having any 'native' villians may end up being considered not politically correct. After all, right now - the human enemies are all white men. Which is too sterile. This isn't Star Wars where the baddies have to all be white, british guys.

The Hive Queen IS female, but the thing's a bug :laughks2:.
Anyway, the East India Company ( in History ) was mainly British white men. So I guess this could make sense for all the EITC/Navy guards ( Redcoats back in history :D ) to be "white, british guys."

Other than that, I agree, Eliza.
Now that you're done with reading this post, go along to read other threads and such :).

KeeperOfTheCode 12-06-2009 04:41 AM

I agree with your thinking; both of you. White British-men were pretty much the only ones fight for Britain. That's the way it worked. The British fought for Britain. And ladies fought for woman's suffrage. :laughks2:

I agree with Eliza though. We haven't seen a single female enemy except the Hive Queen. That brings up an intriguing subject. The arthropod/insect-based enemies have been grouped together, like they're linked by a hive mind, but I think we need some that actually are linked. If you attack their leader, the whole nest turns on you.

Angel Seafish 12-06-2009 05:17 PM

Arent the Maitres' (spelling?) female?

Nathaniel Firegrin 12-06-2009 10:17 PM

WoW I love your idea, CarribeanThunder

I suggest we bring in some of the Pelegostos in POTC 2 :)

KeeperOfTheCode 12-07-2009 12:20 AM

That would cause some ethnic controversy. To avoid this, the game may just leave them out. (a sorry loss)

MacIronhawk 12-07-2009 01:35 AM

I find it odd that it would be politically incorrect to have natives in the game.

Like the navy, we could be limited to only a few weapons. I would personally think them being high level enemies and only using the voodoo doll or staff on them would be challenging.(or at least it'd bring in some more diversity)

Also, women navy and EITC... I would like to see them. I'm sure they could find a way to put them in the game.

pirateLPS123987 12-09-2009 08:24 PM

What about higher level undead, navy and EITC? they only go up as far as lvl 38, that's unfair towards them, Davy has lvl 22-50's :degen:

Also, enemies with staff that are harder to defeat then Thrall Captains would be cool

There should be lvl 50-60 ships, as the Death Omen and Juggernauts have been here way before the caps raised, so they made the game less challenging, bring on those high level ships! :piratewheelgo2:

Captain Seafarer CO. 12-09-2009 08:55 PM

Traitor (Multi level)

It would be an enemy NPC that looked just like us but would randomly use all the weapons even on the same attack, just like we do.

Another off topic would be a normal working server, where you could do quests and so forth BUT able to engage and get engaged from other players around you.

If they did that, the game popularity would highly increase, I'm no marketing expert but this is a winner. All levels go, noobs enter at your own risk (I have a lv 3, 22, 28, 34 and 50 right now) so me lv 3 would have to run like a rabbit!!! It would be so much fun!!!! even me lv 50 would have a hard time if a couple other 50s ganged up on me.... and if ye get tired simply go back to a normal dull server.... no harm, no foul... oh man! I hope they do that!

Eliza Creststeel 12-09-2009 09:39 PM

Surprising how long the gender issue went on. Suffice it to say that most of the counter point has been historical accuracy - which of course POTCO has nearly NO basis in. It is after all, a fantasy. In fact, a good argument is that the game promotes the idea of strong, independent women who can function at buccaneers. Should the same apply to those women who purse the darker side?

So, keeping that in mind, there should also be no issue creating native tribes of warriors to fight. Anyone notice that most of the actors playing the Caribbean natives were polynesian, asian, phillipino, etc. etc. etc. So, there's little, if any real world to try and be holden to. As for as correctness - the Code would still hold for them (No Guns). IN FACT - in the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End video game for PS - you fight on Pelegosto and some of the warriors are women. So Disney had no issue with either already.

But, for the bulk of this discussion - there is definitely room for:

More Royal Navy ranks (maybe even special agents who use voodoo)
EITC agents
Other pirates
Native tribes
Myriads of creatures.

As for bosses, they need to bump the aggression level back up a little - so enemies around a boss will come and attack you too. That should be the idea, that the boss is not only the toughest but has others to protect themselves.

KeeperOfTheCode 12-10-2009 05:31 PM

I agree entirely. Like I said, they're Jolly Roger's Captains/Lieutenants. They should have some sort of body guard. Maybe specific only to them.

Truth is, the highest Undead level is Lv35. Undead Captains exist during Invasions, but they have no levels.

Also, how have Death Omen/Juggernauts/Behemoths made the game LESS challenging? They were the only things to break the Level Cap ( besides the Goliath back in the day, where it was randomly a level from Lv39-Lv41 ). Plus, The Juggernauts and Behemoths had explosives. Death Omen had both Fury and Thunder.

Just my point of view.

Edit: I meant TECHNICALLY the highest was Lv35 for Undead, since you don't see Undead Captains ( who, to correct supersam10999's post, were Lv33-38, if I remember correctly ).

Jolly Roger 12-30-2009 11:25 PM

I would like too raise Undead Captian's from the dead.
Undead Captian:33-38
