Agreed!

I guess it's important to some folks to be one of the first to reach lv50, not that all of the current lv50's have been cheating, they just have a whole lot more free time to play than i do. I'm in no hurry and could care less if i'm one of the first 100 people to hit lv50.

Like Ben basically says, to each their own.

SO TRUE :pirate30: And i know people that play long hours and work hard to reach levels without glitches. I admire their dedication and their wisdom they know alot of ways to increase rep without relying on glitches.

I remember the first time I was told about changing weapons to get more rep :dancetl6: It was great.

Well - I mean what can you do? Most of us are having fun and lvling together, so I think it has been said already, to each his own.

Game on.... :D

Please don't tar all those who have reached 50 with the same brush. I made 50 yesterday and certainly NEVER used the speed glitch. I spent hours and hours at tormenta attuning 5 enemies with a good healer. At between 6 to 700 reps for the 5 you can level up pdq.

Certainly all pirates that attain Notoriety 50 are not using the "Speed Glitch" and Kudoes to those that have done it on their own pirate talent. But, I have to admit, I've run into more of this since the level 50 update than I ever witnessed previously...

Many people are finding this out by joining a private online chat and from there talking and telling eachother how!!!:mybadki6:

Isn't this kind of like rushing through your restaurant dinner, where the dinner is something you pay for and the experience is supposed to be enjoyed? But you want to be done first. Then you're just sitting there, waiting for the waiter to come by with the dessert cart. But you know he isn't coming until everybody else is done.

So, what to do while you wait?

swashbuckler II 09-15-2009 01:32 AM

Absoulutly nothing....

I have witnessed Angel Blasthazzard , William , Rosa , Cyrus and Polly make it to level 50. This was done without using any glitch for these pirates. It was time, dedication and the help from friends that got them there. You should take in to account , most of these people have more than one level 40 pirate , so, they still have plenty of things to do with their other pirates in the meantime. I do not understood why it concerns people how others want to play the game. It is not your money ,it is not your pirate. Play your own , worry not about the others. I will get to 50 when I am ready , I have chosen to go a little slower , because I enjoy helping by healing others and getting them there.

What concerns me, or bothers me is that I think there should be some honesty expected when playing....

And I like the idea of Guilds not supporting players who cheat. Some guilds are indeed getting 'bad reputations' due to the macros etc. being used. I received two IM's today about it - asking if I was going to use it. Which I REFUSE to do.

I hope Disney starts banning em. Honestly. I'd love to see it. Same stuff goes on at WoW - and its just a matter of time before everyone starts losing friends from cheating.

Its just a matter of doing it the right way. A matter of principle.

You know, if I had the power to wish for things, I would wish for death to all cheaters who dare to mess with fairplayers and then say the fairplayer is cheating. I would also wish that any battle you enter would have a ring that only you may cross. That way, no noobs and hackers can get to the enemy, and any grenade would explode upon going over the ring.
That's also another thing I would want disney to add. A menu to choose whether you want help from anyone or not. This is what it would be like:

Allow public attacking?
Allow Friends to help you attack creatures?

It would be the same thing as the Public/Guild/Crew/Friends boarding access on ships. If you don't check off any of them, then no one can enter your battle and attack the creature you are battling.

This almost seems off topic...
But then again, I'm new here.
Also, the $9.95 works out for people like me who don't waste their lives away playing the whole thing for 24 hours.

If you master the weapons too fast you probably wouldnt know how to use them. And if it was something like the gun, you would be sooo confused because you had to reload and not be able to get navy, although there is no weapon like this. I personally do glitches but just like going into empty kingshead for hide and seek. Why else would I go into regular kingshead. I'd probably DIE within minutes. And I do the secret dock. Thats another example, people will find glitches but it won't abuse the game nessesarily. Now invincibility there's a problem.

I'm with ya on this one. Maybe a look out thing saying "Teleport to someone who needs help" Then go into that place where they do. And for the person who needs help just press H or somethin.

But nobody else can interfere. Also noobs shouldn't be with big boss battles, especially by themselves, but noobs have a tendency to make them invincible. There is invincibility for fun, for big boss quests, and unintentional. L8er!:forum smiley parrot

There's a leak on youtube that tells you how to do it and I was kinda laughing at the dude who wanted to do it cause honestly wuts the point of playing if theres no substance I mean if you dont lvl up right it just doesnt seem fun you know? I'm all for glitches I love em but the speed glitch is knda annoying so yeah.
