Back on topic. I would pay for storage space, 'cause it's very handy. I'd also pay for playing locations as well, once I got to a pretty high level. I'm hoping we won't have to pay for a friends list, though I would be very happy with simply paying for an upgrade to it.

Crew capacity, eh... I would pay for it if I had a crew, but odds are that would never happen. (I prefer to be a high-ranking official in an existing, preferable famous crew. XD)

I voted for friend lists. I voted that becuase you cant play with good friends if you cant get to them easy :) But of course ships are nice too :)

Hmm, I do not like buying things online. I can't choose, and if I had to pay something, I'd leave quicker than without paying anything.

I just hate buying things for games that ARE NOT REAL.

Im just wondering if anyone knows forsure that this will be just a free game where you can pay for add ons like the ones mentioned in the poll. I was under the impression, that it would be like a free trial, and then you had to pay to play. Like a subscription as we do for TT or how it is for WOW, where you got a 14 day free trial and then you have to pay. I also dont know how they would enforce the fact, supposedly you have to be over 13 to play, if it was a free game over all.

I dont mean to ruffle any feathers or insult anyone who likes vmk or maple story, but if pirates is anything like those games, I will be so disappointed.

I am expecting high end graphics and amazing things, more along the line of WOW, and cant even understand that they would have a free game with things of that caliber. I think the game could be free for a certain amount of time, but I dont think that is the long term plan. I think once it gets up and running, a free trial period is what you will get, then you will have to pay, say after 10 days free, with limited access. Simlar to the 3 day free trial toontown gave. Or like WOW gave. But once they have you loving and addicted and wanting more..I think you are gonna have to subscribe in some form. I could be wrong, but that is what I am thinking.

to buy item, like we get 100 coins a month
instead of 5.

I would not worry about the game play. I
still have not played VMK or MapleStory
yet, but the graphics here look a lot like
ToonTown's, which is fantastic. :)

Personally I wouldn't pay for an online game. (my mom wont let me)

There should be a flat rate (small, flat rate) to play and all add-ons are earned through game experience. Buying your way to the cool stuff is not the pirate way! The cool stuff must be plundered and pillaged and all sorts of other nasty, piraty things!!

Im definitly not paying for anything unless if the game makes a huge turns and becomes fun all of a sudden. Currently the beta is...lets just say "sucks". I believe that Disney may make it better although another thing im kinda worried about once its released is, lack of updates, look at toontown. We thought that estate gardening was very fun and addictive at first but maybe after about 2-4 weeks you couldn't even hardly extand to garden. I no longer play Toontown as it got boring because they didn't release enough things. I heard they recently came out with new trolley games but im seeing that being fun maybe for a week...please its only 4 or 5 minigames.
