i can only sail out of tortuga or cuba.. cant sail from pdf ,kingshead or any oher islands.. game crashes constantly when i man cannons or get in ship battles.. freezes for me but not the attacker.. also not registering ship kills for new cutlass quest

I can't crew guild members from the list, only when in person.
I know this is a minor issue compared to most, but since I crew most often with my guild it makes it hard now that I cannot go to their ships either unless they are also on the friend list.

I did have a problem where my guild chat wasn't showing most of the messages posted but thankfully they seemed to have fixed that one.

Very annoyed with sailing now, seems like many mid-level ships run away from me, but the light sloops still come after me. Also my broadsides seem to aim at nothing half the time even though I am practically on top of the ship I am trying to shoot.

Lags seem to be longer sometimes - I have had one be 10 min and then next time will work normal. I can't seem to figure out why sometimes and not others, but it has sent me to jail a few times so far.

add to this.
this morning i tried once again to sail from pdf.. no good once again.. after crash came back ,teleported to port royal.. tried to sail from there only ship avalible was galleon.. even tho i have 3 ships.. only 1 was able to be sailed.. so i set sail from port royal. only to my suprise when i boarded my ship i was at pdf..

I'm still having the same problem. I've tested on 2 different Macs with different OS's and video cards and both are crashing on startup.

Wow, guess I'll actually have to work my 8 hours a day this week until they fix this issue.

ahhhhhhhh ya.................... bieng a tech support person myself i thought it would be helpful i know the language......... ha

I was herendiously mistaken got told to clear my browser cookies, update drivers and oh yeah take a screen shot of it crashing.... well if a black screen help to figure it out they really are imagineers....

Fuming....i have had connection drops, weird things like logging on to find my pirate already online, WHAT has someone pirated my pirate????????

disappearing weapons, and today my grl tp on her own i guess she was tired of me training her.....lol i have to laugh about it

and the kicker was when i started explaining to tech support about switching servers and what not.... she stopped me dead in sentence and said.... "we are very basic assistance, you need to explain in detail to ..... and directed mee to web site email......hmmmmmm..... OKey Dokey den,

Being a person that specializes in computer support I had the same initial thought, and the likely the same bit of frustration during and after the process.

Telephone support here is non-existent for the most part (unless your experiencing a billing/account issue).

They will almost always lead you to the online Live Chat support for more detailed technical support. The techs on Live Chat appear to have somewhat scripted responses, and obviously handle more than one at a time. They do not seem to actually interpret your responses but look for key words that will clue them in as to what canned response they send you next. If this process fails to identify the problem/solution they verify you have submitted a bug report and indicate that 2nd level support will have to review it and get back to you.


This has been my experience the 3 times I have looked into getting technical assistance.

On a brightside/note, its resolved the issue each time, and only one of the aforementioned instances did I have to recontact them to basically 'bump' the problem to the surface (it was fixed the very next day).

I've lost most of my "chat" function. Others can see what I type, but I only sometimes, see what they type when in Guild or Crew chat. The "whisper" function seems to have quit altogether and the "plus symbol" went away, that is next to the skeleton. I haven't encountered any other issues with the update.

I have found that, while the game is running, if I shut down "Toontown" from the Task Manager, the game doesn't suddenly crash.

for those of u using macs is it a g5 or higher if not it doesnt have a intel processer unless u put one in there if your odesnt have one it will be laggy but u can still play also how old is the mac your using?

sometimes when i board a crew members ship when its done loading it still has loading screen.. have to alt crl delte the game :(


a way to fix this is teleport to someone on ship
