The lag issues will mainly be fixed when they connect the servers to a larger pipe to the internet, I'm sure they are just saving the $1000s of dollars a month a 1gbit connection will cost them and are just running it off a 10mbit or 100mbit connection till it goes live.

I think so too, but it's so buggy so they have lots of work to do. Lag is just one of many bugs on there lol.

There is a free version by the way, and the credit card is only to prove you are 18 or older or have permission if your under 18 from a parent or guardien.
