I have someone called Crimson Rose on my friends list. I saw her in Tortuga one day, and I assumed it was this CR because the levels were similar. She wasn't, though. :P But hey, a kind of friendship came out of my embarrassment!

Last night's Crew Nights was... interesting, to say the least :laughks2:

We started out following what we had planned, a massive speed raid of the Caribbean! We began in the misty swamps of Tortuga, where the partners and I beat up our old friend General Hex:

After a few minutes, we were abruptly cut off by the call for battle, and a race almost immediately initiated towards Remmington the Vicious at Kingshead!

Once we got to Remmington (which Jason narrowly beat me to -_o) we spent a few minutes roughing up the rather stoic mate:

Right after that we sped off to Padres Del Fuego and dove in to the mines of Beckett's Quarry. However, just before we were about to get in to a little brawl with Neban the Silent, a warning was sent across the Caribbean that the Muertos Moon loomed over the horizon! The partners and I dropped everything, breaking off to Port Royal where we gathered to stare down each other before the epic battle:

Even as loyal to the Brethren Court as I am, once the curse struck there was no stopping my thirst for blood! I grabbed my sword and took to the streets, leaving mercy behind and sparing none... not even the children!

And I am so nicely complimented for my prowess in battle by a few pirates who I "ran in to"... roughly four times.

All in all I lasted until the end of the Curse (thanks to some tonics, Lively Bucko Brew, and my handy-dandy Masterwork) and walked away with a total kill streak of 36 kills. Not bad... for a quiet server :psmiley35:

Yesterday was a good day for me also. This happened while I was trying to level potions (again) for my Raven's Cove quest.

Today, the guild gathered on Raven's Cove, on the ship of El Patron, to help Mayhem defeat the ghostly captain and gain her first cursed blade.


El Patron and his crew was no match for the group that was gathered, and in no time, Mayhem had obtained her cursed blade, Nautilus.

(when Mayhem grabbed it, she was still a sword level below what was needed, so...

Thank you Tim! I'm very grateful for the healing, and the extra crew rep! Nice pictures too - I like how you caught the black stuff coming out of my sword like that. :)

The story is below, and pictures are lower.

I was planning to wait until the weekend to gather an army for the boss battle, but when 4 level 50s came online in a short space of time, plus a level 40, I felt that I couldn't wait any longer. So I invited them all to TP, and soon everyone online came to help. Plus my friend who seems to turn up to everything. So we had Jason, Alice Darkbane, Chloe Swordking, Elizabeth, Thunder and Tim Rigmenace all coming to beat the stuffing out of El Patron. Soon everyone except myself was on deck. Charge!!!

Fighting El Patron was fun - it's a shame it got so laggy! I had wanted to remember this moment, so I press F9 and BAM.

Pirates Online has stopped working

Ah well. I teleported back and opened the chest. 3 famed blades in one chest - a sight your pirate can only see once. After some debating over the Spinecrest Sword or the Nautilus Blade, I ended up choosing the Nautilus Blade, resulting in a cry of 'noooooooooo' from the opposing side. :P Everyone was glad for me nonetheless, and we had a dance of joy on the deck.

Tim covered the half-hour or so of levelling I did to use the Nautilus Blade. Elizabeth and Thunder seemed to get along pretty well in the mines though - it was fun to read their hilarious messages. :P

Thank you everyone who helped me with the boss battle - now I owe you all a big favour. :)
