Aye, holidays! My mom is in town for another week so my POTC time will still be limited. She and I have been some shopping fools, too tired to even think about pirates when we get home. Yeah Davy, It's been pretty quiet. I was on for over an hour all by myself. And the other night, Mary and I were the only Dueces on for about 2 hours. Hope the Holidays are Great for everyone.

Sorry I have been MIA!! All PC related.

We have been trying to network our two PC's.. thought we had it Tuesday...after 3 separate 2 day tries since we got the router in Dec. But it did not work well .... made my quad core slower than anything I've had in ages.. and that was if it even made a connection.

Without the router, I could independently run the PC's but not at the same time.

But I have also had other connection issues with the new PC..lol..selective connection issues since we got it . It seems to not get along with POF specifically.

I get persistent HTTP 501/505 error and DNS lookup error messages. And I have spent way too much time with various customer service phone reps. So we have disconnected the router. My new PC is still selective and when I finally was able to get online to play last night.. I played on test and I kept getting bumpe off test almost exactly every 5 minutes.

So...I have hooked the old pc back up so I can at least post and play.

Don't know whether this is a Vista problem.. or a Nortons problem with the new pc. The old one is XP and McAfee. Have done so many reconfigurations, I just sick.

Awwww Kelly I feel your pain. Trouble shooting computers can make you homicidal. Once you get on I recommend some AFK pushing to relieve the stress..... oh and some rum!:buds:

Gonna be AFK from my playable pc for a couple of nights. If you find one of my pirates roaming the Caribbean, it isn't really me. So don't expect the customary greetings... the gtot doesn't know how to chat or spell. (lol.. momma will be logging him in... I changed the password after he sold my war frigate)

So, how you gonna keep the gtot from selling the entire fleet? All you junior pirates, there may be some good deals on used War Ships the next few days. (Lars stands in line for a War Frigate!) Keep your eyes peeled for Kelly's pirates. They don't chat much, but they do sell War Ships CHEAP!

Hey everyone, I dont know when I will be back on pirates, i changed operating systems on my computer and now pirates wont download. working on getting it fixed. will be on vent soon though to chat with everyone

just drop in to say hello all ....i am still going 100 mph with work .....hope thing will slow ...but it not looking that way...but i guess that a good thing ....hope to be in game soon....till then here a barrel of rum to share.
