Aye, I believe it's 125 Iron and 125 Canvas for an Open Fire upgrade. I'm thinking that we'll be able to get materials like this from plundering.

So... They are going to make get and manage resources too? I hope not, I hope that all of this is gold based.

akamystic 09-12-2011 02:25 PM

Hard to say..... But the video hints at gathering items in relation to the upgrades. I just hope it hits test by the end of the month.

I hope that this update makes use of the items we get while at sea. I've grown tired of sailing only to come back with all these items and nothing to do with them. This gives the developers a chance to make use of the useless items we've had for years.

Really, really, really looking forward to this update!!!

The Skirata Clan 09-12-2011 08:10 PM

I just hope they don't make us farm and stuff.

Captain Jorden 09-12-2011 11:00 PM

Yea. Wood. Cloth. So i guess we buy those or plunder those.

HammyTheSquirrel 09-12-2011 11:36 PM

Mini game? @_@ Probably just very common (or crude) loot. :P

Jamesvsthekraken 09-13-2011 12:56 AM

Oh jeez... please no more mini-games... :degen:

Captain Jorden 09-13-2011 03:00 AM

MiniGame!!! How about we get this through the build your ship proccess. Or fishing?

I think the game is a bit too far behind other MMOs to even think about something such as farming. The developers should really focus on some more "pirate" related content.

I'm looking forward to this update but I don't know how long it'll keep me entertained. It'll definitely give us something to spend our money on but unless there are a lot of items and decorations which come with ship customization, it probably won't keep most players entertained for very long.

Does Unfit mean you can't upgrade or that you can sell off or store upgrades from a ship that you plan to sell off or change.

I was wondering the same exact thing. Hmmmm.........

richfireskull 09-14-2011 03:14 PM

As for the materials needed to upgrade things or customize the ship, I always see them when sailing and I port like the iron, cotton, and who knows what else lol

akamystic 09-14-2011 03:20 PM

I have enough materials to open a Trading Post.
