The reason your profile can reflect it is, there are certain features of the forum software that cannot be overridden.

Well that I knew, my question should have been worded better.

I question the age of some pirates however the game is made for 10+ according to the advertising.

if all these are the average age, then i am one young player!

There is no average, there are players of all ages and thats the way I like it.

What's the big fuss about? No matter what the age, we all have at least one thing in common...we like piratin', plunderin, and a swig of the rum every now and again. To answer the question, I come from the last half of the 20th century. I didn't see Woodstock, but I remember Watergate.
