Aw, so sad to see the coin flip go! I would much rather be able to flip my coin then scratch my bum, but that's another topic. I'll send a message to Disney as well.

Disney basically said it isn't coming back, but we can still hope and try! This is our final stand! Our only hope! The end of the rum supply! The final chapter! The greatest oh all! Might as well go for it!

well I got on today and its gone. No more coin flip. Didnt even get a warning, just knew about from here. Its just a little emote but I dont want to see something go from some stupid reason and stupid kids. we should think of something to do.

Tiberius Fireskull 12-15-2010 09:24 PM

I can't believe Disney removed it. It's not even worth emailing them. All they will reply with is "We are sorry that you are upset about the removing of the coin emote, but there were animation problems. Fair winds!"

Disney, I don't need words to express my thoughts about what you did.

Those people who where messing up with the coin emote where most likely adults. kids wouldn't know how to mess it up that way.

I am very disappointed in all of this….I have never witnessed any of these sick actions that you all are speaking of…I can only imagine, but then I do not hang out on Abassa. The coin flip was used, not only for show of character, but was used to avoid embarrassment by not slumping over and falling asleep while talking or waiting around for someone. My gosh…they might as well take away using tonic to revive someone to keep them from going to jail, I have seen some weird actions done by using that! Come on Disney…get your thinking cap on….I know you can figure out another way for us to use coin flip, please bring it back….the game will never be the same without it!

They shouldn't be allowed to vote, drive, or drink. they are the type of people who would abuse this.

Let's please leave stuff like that out of the forums. It could be considered controversial to some.

POTCO was just really lazy with this. How long would it take to go into the coding and change it so that the coin flip animation could no longer be abused? I know nothing at all about computer and video game programing, but I will firmly say that I doubt it would take very long. I mean, such little time that one guy could just do it at home one night before he goes to bed. By doing this, POTCO angered many players (If you don't believe me, read through this whole thread -_-). This is a huge mistake that they may regret in the future when they see less money coming their way.

You want to FIX this problem? Disney should do TWO things

1) Make EMOTES equivilant to Speedchat. Parents can turn it on or off.

2) Make EMOTES something an ADMIN can disable. If you get reported for abusing said emote OR if the same potential vulgar emote is SPAMMED, then you lose the use of it.

There - DONE!

we tried

good idea eliza the only reason they dont is THEY'RE TOO LAZY sorry about that it wouldnt take five minutes to change (i know a bit about programming)but guess what THEY'RE TOO LAZY i give up:xangry:

Yea... I was on Abassa too and I was coin flipping and I got a knockout and automatically sent to jail.... I didn't get a ban though.... maybe that was just a warning.... but there IS a GM on Tortuga Abassa cause.. GM are the only people who can knock people out..... They say... that their was an "issue" but the emote was being abused. They just won't say anything about it because then they will lose players.... and between you and me... taking away the most popular emote, fixing the best glitches, enforcing strict rules... isnt the best way to keep players. i mean really its the caribbean!! there are no rules!

Well you get the point.........

Tiberius Fireskull 01-14-2011 01:38 AM

If we are lucky, they will get enough complaints and they will end up putting it back...
