Still working on yesterdays text. But I have news of a different nature.

Many of you have stood by that Connie is on our side. Over and over I stated my doubts. I offer you proof positive!


I'm that circle in front of the mowhawk pirate. You can clearly see just how far from her house I am. I have witnesses who can state I was only ever polite, only trying to stop them from going in her house. Trying to get them to leave her alone. I'm not the only one she knocked out without provocation. She laid out about 10 of us who were not near and had never been near her house, and were not being disruptive. On our side? Think not!

Constance the name of the dead bride from the haunted mansion ride. Form her story there she has killed 5 husbands. Wonder if this is related some how, Here is a Shot of her.

Now THAT is wild! Does kinda make a little bit of sense though. But still! Constance from Pirates Online, you feel pity for. The Ghost from the Haunted Mansion though, dang!

Also: Cromwell! Am i the only one that is reminded of the disney movie Halloween Town every time i hear the name Cromwell?


EDIT: Anyways, was hanging around Abassa to see if Constance will have anything to say about the curse. So far, nothing..

best to avoid constance i have talked to her she was constance moses but changed her name she is a very troubled sprit trust me stay away

Today I ran into Walter on Antik. I got the chance to mention Constance knocking people out, and what she did to me. Being in character he acted surprised about knowing she could knock people out. However, even in character I got the feeling he was disturbed when I told him she had no call to knock me out, and that I had guild members who could back that up. I doubt they will take the whole ability away, and I don't mind them using it on unruly pirates. Hopefully this will at least make them think twice before attacking innocents.

Ok, I logged into test today. Got the ALL HOLLOWES EVE IN PROGRESS but the sky was blue and everything seemed to be back to normal (as normal can be in the Caribbean). I mean, there was no green sky, no green clouds...... Thought that the ALL HOLLOWS EVE event was the Muertos Moon. (Which I avoided like the plague.) So, if it was the Muertos Moon, did they take out the wrong curse? or Are they getting ready to move the invasions to a different island?

If the invasions have been taken out for a while, wouldnt this mean that the ghost sightings would end?

Very interesting information. And my compliments as to staying with the story line and stating the fact that Walter acted 'in character'. Except for maybe Constance, all us pirates need to remember that when we encounter a GM, there is a real person behind that pirate, but they are role playing. Therefore their inter-action with the pirates around them will be as such.

Test is always test, you can't trust everything you see in there, can ye? :D

The Muertos Moon was the Halloween event, and because of that there were no normal
invasions during the Halloween weekend.

Cromwell will appear when the stories of him and all the other ghosts have spread wide
enough in the pirate community.

The ghosts are probably the base of our new story quest. Ever thought of that? The whole
Jolly Roger is the base of our new storyquest! So the ghost sightings will not end, the
invasions will not end and any other island is not going to be invaded before the invasions
on Port Royal have ended. :)

I don't think getting knocked out by a GM is that big of a deal, some people seem to even
search for it when they disturb the events (or ghosts!). I believe you didn't do anything wrong,
so maybe you were just a warning to other pirates? To scare the disturbers?
I mean, it's not like you actually got physically hurt, eh? :)

Aye test is test, but it is the same on live today too. Normal sky, same message, etc. As fast as this possibliy leading to the next story chapter.... have you read what I have said here previously in the thread?

Hawke...... I to am wary of the ghosts. At least of Constance. John, who posted the pic of Constance from the Hunted Mansion, and I are friends in the game. We were thinking maybe she is the inspiration for Constance Sorrow. And here is an idea: If Constance in the Haunted Mansion ride killed her husbands (5 of them) for gold, who is to say that Constance Sorrow didnt do the same? She did write John Moses' aunt in England didnt she.....Maybe she had Cromwell still the gold and maybe she had Cromwell killed also? And, maybe she is trying to keep pirates out of her house because the gold is hidden there or nearby (dig spot-hint hint). LOL. Just a thought. As far as the knocking out goes, dont like that an innocent pirate got the same as the guilty ones who entered her house. But, they did make her mad and I dont think she cared who got the brunt of her anger.

What is driving me nuts about all this is that most of us don't know when or what server constance will appear. We don't have as much time to spend on POTC as we'd like to wait for her.

I'm guessing that they are testing out the story line periodically in the real servers to see how we react prior to actually doing anything on the test servers. This would be an easier way to keep us all distracted and in the dark. Personally, it is REALLY getting aggravating since I can't find any ghost.

I did run into Capt Rott today about 2;30 Eastern. He played along as if he knew nothing of the ghosts. He was on the Abassa server near the house where Constance appears. I went inside the house and got knocked out. I wasn't making any scenes or distrubing anyone. I am 99% certain Rott did it. He did knock out a pirate that kept shooting him., prior to me being knocked out.

Where is this all leading and why can't we find out more info?

I expect the Invasions to start up soon and Constance will again be fortelling thier arrival. I am enjoying the ghost stories and such but agree that it would be nice to see them more often.

I am not sure why Rott would protect Constances old home. Curious.....
