That rolling attack is sick. I can't wait to see it in action!

Seems we have new updates finally coming! This will change everything in game, SvS, PvP, single combat. Also will put more excitement into the game! Can't wait to see this in test updates. Let us just hope that the fiend Jolly doesn't get there first!

My point was that with the current system it is possible to have 42 or more clothing items you were only limited by progamming that limited the number you could buy not hold. What happens when that same pirate currently has more than the allowed total of jewelry and tats will he lose some? I think the new weapons stuff will be great I just think D needs to really increase the storage space not do it halfway!

I just hope in PvP if I'm going at a guy and we both try rolling attack, we don't zoom through one another and make some sort of fusion glitch.

In other games you are limited too,,,you can "buy" or rent space, like banking slots,,,bags, whatever,,,but you can't have every item in game at one time(if ya know a game, I'd like to know about it),,,,,but more is more....Speaking for the female contigency, not all,,,,but some;) the trading or selling will keep the clothes from piling up,,,and make favorite items readily available since they will be "on the market"....not just disappear....and be bartered for,,also, that opens dis to more easily add seasonal items/drops...etc. They will gauge if slots need expansion...I mean developers aren't going to jump straight to the limits of what they "can" do....they seem to have answered most of what was requested....lets see how that goes...try thinking 'out of the box' a little...these improvements will lead to more,,,if received in a positive light...sure with coaxing....I can harangue with the best of em :)

I hope we can still attack the same way like clicking the left mouse button, or pressing the control button. I mean cause in some games like Perfect World International, or Shaiya when you click on an enemy and then you automatically attack it. :/ :( :) I think we will have the same system though. I hope :'( :( :/

Again, this update will have no effect on the way combat goes on. The only thing this update will change combat-wise is new attacks, stronger and different weapons, etc. If they were changing combat all together, they would have said so.

There are seven different types of clothing items we can have. Currently we can only hold four for each, which is 7 times 4, or 28.

We're getting an additional 14 spaces with the update, or 2 for each slot. I don't know about you guys, but I don't really care for belts or hats, so that's even more spaces towards other things, which I think is a good deal.

However, I don't see why they just don't add in quests to expand our inventory, until we can hold hundreds of items. In other games with better inventory systems you can hold hundreds, even thousands of items if you want to. Why not in this game?

The changes with the weapons... we'll all get used to, whether we like it or not, but there should be 8 spaces to "equip" weapons, in my opinion. So we can have one of each.(with the two new weapons, too.) I think this is the first update that I've ever actually thought was good, although it could be better.(putting the invasions and EITC fleets aside)

P.S. I just want to say, I think this is a great way to expand the combat system. New attacks, weapons, etc... the game is just going to get more time consuming as far as leveling now.(which I like, because it keeps me busy.)

Staves is just the plural for staff, as in voodoo staff ;)

Greetings Mates. I was on the Pirates Online Game website, and I saw the Expedition fleet pass through the little slideshow... I noticed it said from March 19-22. From this information, we learn that the new weapon upgrades and inventory expansion will not be available to the 22nd. I believe the update will come to test on the 23rd or later from exxamining this information.

Yeah, I guess the fleets are more of a weekend thing.

makutaa 03-22-2010 04:00 AM
