A. A pirate without his weapons is like a squirrel without it's nuts in the winter...

Captain Gas 04-21-2012 08:16 AM

A. 'Cuz dat's just epic.

You and your small band of misfits manage to sneak past the patrols inside the small camp over to a large stack of cargo that sits off in the corner. Ravaging through the items in the crates you find three different caches of weapons, each with enough weapons to equip every man in your crew. However, the crates are locked, meaning they will cause quite the sound when you open them; this means you can only choose one type of weapon to supply your crew.

Which items do you choose for battle?

A. Heavy, long, EITC industrial iron broadswords - good range and a mighty punch, though they take more time and energy to swing. They are also so large that hitting your fellow pirates in such an enclosed space is imminent.
B. Small yet well-balanced Navy cutlasses - They are notably shorter than most cutlasses you would find, but their blades are finer and cut through the air like a fresh blade. They're the same swords the soldiers in the encampment are using.
C. Protruding and sharp British Navy bayonets - You won't be able to fire them because of the Code, but the Navy doesn't know that! They could easily be used to intimidate the nearby soldiers, and provide a sharp blade at the tip of the weapon if battle calls forth.

A. Who cares about my fellow pirates? If it gets ME out, that's good enough!

andyspins 04-21-2012 04:35 PM

B. You still need your mates, do what ye want with them later!

Dark_Pixie 04-21-2012 04:51 PM

I'm going with B too. We probably have more skill in swordfighting than they do anyway. ;)

B. DP is right about skill. And, if we go with those, then it'll help to unlock the crates, and especially give you the ability to ward off your enemies while using minimal energy

Captain Del 04-21-2012 06:39 PM

Busting open the crates of cutlasses you quickly dispatch them to your crew, as the heads in the camp turn towards you. The Navy soldiers quickly stammer to their feet and grab their weapons, prepared to charge at you.

Your crew is comprised of seven pirates, not including yourself. Your enemies are eight Navy cadets, headed by a lone Sergeant.

What is your battle strategy?

A. Divide and conquer the group of soldiers! Each pirate will take out his own soldier, while you and one of the more burly pirates in your group takes on two, including the Sergeant.
B. Form groups and quickly overpower as many Navy soldiers as you can before they can strategize themselves!

C. Create a giant cluster of pirates and fend off the soldiers as they charge your group one by one!
D. Flee and hope the soldiers are too slow to catch you!

Davy_Mcwrecker 04-21-2012 07:23 PM

B. Like Assassins. We take out our enemy before they even know what happens.

The Stealthy Pirate 04-21-2012 09:54 PM

B.Cause Im cool like dat.

andyspins 04-21-2012 11:00 PM

B. I hope this works!

Captain Del 04-21-2012 11:28 PM

Dividing yourselves up you are able to easily overpower the surprised Navy soldiers, but not without a few casualities. You lose one of your crew members in the fight, while another is injured and is no longer able to fight. You now have five able-bodied pirates in your crew, not including yourself.

Unfortunately your moment of peace after the battle will not appear to last long - it won't be long before some of the patrols around the caves find your position, so you should move quickly.

What is your next move?

A. Search for any signs of the stash of Aztec gold that Delmaria told you about earlier.
B. Break in to the other weapons crates and stock yourself up!
C. Continue out of the camp and back in to the cave, keeping eye for any patrolmen.

The Stealthy Pirate 04-22-2012 12:12 AM

B. Armed to the teeth. Maybe get some coin for them as well.

Tia 04-22-2012 12:50 AM

B I guess :P

Captain Del 04-22-2012 01:43 AM

You bust open the other crates that you had ignored before and distribute some new weaponry to your men. Though they have a new, expansive artillery, they will be forced to move a little slower because of the weapons' combined weight.

Passing out of the small encampment you find yourself in a system of caverns slightly tighter than when you had first entered the cave. They are poorly lit and do not provide much cover along the walls, and the corners are very sharp - you are unable to tell what awaits you around every corner.

How do you proceed?

A. Lead your group slowly through the forward tunnels, making sure you have an eye on every possible tunnel at all times.
B. Send a few of your crew mates ahead to survey the areas ahead to make sure it is safe for the rest of the crew to pass through.
C. Pass quickly through the tunnels, prepared to rid of any enemies that cross your path in a breath!
