Secret Locations in POTC Online?
 

So everybody has heard of the jail at the top of kingshead, or the cellar on rumrunner's isle, but what else is there? Secret locations, does anybody want to share?
Basically, a place nobody usually goes to often, or is kind of... hidden

For example:
Jail at the top of Kingshead, (go to the top of kingshead and there is a jail)
Cave at Kingshead (glitch to the secret dock)
Cellar on rumrunner's isle (toward the left of the island, in the middle near the dire wasps, there is a cellar door on the ground)
Shack on Driftwood island (not really secret)
Tent shack on Ile D'Etable De Porc

Anybody want to share some? You can name some, where they are, how to get to them (if you want), and any other information

as you all can probably tell i'm kind of new to the site

Hmm.. the end of the world can seem kind of hidden if ye never sailed that far. Just keep sailing toward the end:piratewheelgo2: of the map and you will see a message come up saying:

"You have to the end of the world. Turn back and continue your voyage":erti078: (or something of that nature)

Welcome Captain! Well some may not be aware of the beach adjacent to El Sudoron which you can get to either by going through Beckett's Quarry and El Sudoron or swimming around to the back of Padre.

Kingshead secret warehouse
Before Port Royal got updated there was a room that had nothing in it, Not sure if it's still there
Before the Tortuga Update there were 2 empty shacks dunno if they're still there.

KH warehouse is still there but got lots of boxes now.

1 of the empty shacks on Tortuga is still there but u gotta know how to get there. There's a rock beside King's Arm that faces the shipwright. About 1 or 2 steps away from the rock, you should get a green circle that says Hit Shift to Open Door or something like that... it goes away super fast, so ummm walk slowly haha coz there's no house, its just a random green circle that appears in the sand. Hitting shift takes you into the invisible shack now and when you exit, it throws u into the water under Port Royal...so I guess its a good lil glitch for those ppl who only got the Tortuga totem & not the PR totem yet.

That was awesome! I actually did it by accident, I went to go eat dinner and upon coming back i was still sailing and it said "you have reached the edge of the earth, turn back and continue your voyage":mat:

Also, there's a rock by Skull's Thunder on PDF. If you can glitch into it, it's a small ledge opening to the ocean. Fun to hide in it and flame skull or throw nades.

OH I just thought of someplace! In Port Royal you can glitch into the wall and you end up on this balcony.. There is actually a set of stairs leading to it

Anyway.. it's a cools spot to go afk because people can see you so they start throwing grenades at you and stuff lol

the top of the volcano is a hard to get to place

Theres a secret cave enterance on PDF - hidden behind a rock wall. But, its there! You can see it on the map, but can only get there by swimming or glitching through a wall.

Now that would be a hard place to get to, how do you do it?
Is it even possible?

Aye.. i don't know if it still is.. But I've had seen Port Royal, Tortuga (Before explosions) and Padres Volcano from quite a view before. Got some great screenshots from it too!

Where exactly on pr is it? That sounds interesting.

We tried to glitch to the volcano - the 'flying' glitch appears to be fixed at this point. Oh well.. sad I missed the volcano view.

There is a glitch in Padres Del Fuego. You go threw a wall and you keep going and there's a boss in this little hidden town. But yeah, i'm new to this forums thing also. Welcome Captain Tom.

Ive heard of the balcony, but what happens if you continue to sail to the end o the world?
There is a glicth were you can get up onto the cliff overlooking PR, and one were you can get behind a bar.

The fly glitch still appears to work I've seen it done.

How do you do the fly glitch? I used to know the old way and got some really nice screenshots out of it!! But now I don't know the new way....:sadmh9:

if you go to kingheads dock, go down the stairs, then walk so you are between the island and the stairs. Then you run at the corner of the island and the stone, and youll start running under kingshead, keep running and youll be in Kingshead, completley empty.

If I tell you my one true secret location, then it won't be a secret anymore, will it?

one more spot.If you glitch off the black pearl you can go to the island. there's a town and stuff. from the stuff I've read about it (no I haven't been there) It looks like port royal (old). and there are 2 hidden cannons ( they are invisible) and if you fire them directly up it damages you. my theory is that they were originally on the bp but then they found the glitch on them and put them on the beach and made them invisible. sorry it's so long a reply, lol. now I'm making it longer. I'd better shut up now.

Well, it's not exactly secret, but the underground parlor games. Makes a good place for officer meetings, so lnog as u can crew, and no one tp's...

OMG I actually did what I thought I didn't.....

Around the entrace is two assassins and there is one inside... I was bested by the thired assassin that spawned in there.

I am still suprised that I have been there TWICE..... and still didn't think it was the highest I can get to. I kept running around trying to find stairs:psmiley35:

If anyone happens to meet Penelope Green... she knows TONS of secret locations, including the empty Kings Head - which is creepy. Also, the old empty Port Royal... and a very cool spot UNDER the waterfall on Perdida.

Alot of the longtime players know tons of glitches and secret spots! I've got quite a few myself - including the ones mentioned above! (KH, Waterfall, old PR, etc.)

Nelly, Liz, i know that waterfall glitch, and i know a glitch in PVP, which... well i wouldnt tell the likes of all you pirates out there....

The hidden shack by kings arm has been fixed, you can no longer get to it.

Yup it was fixed around the time the new PDF was released.

Water fall in perdida? unless you mean the one that's in every place modeled after king's run, i don't know what you mean...

there is a secret place in pirates vs pirates on one of the sides theres a tree and a rock you try to slide your self in the crack and it will put you behind the wall then you walk over to the right then walk straight then you will find a cave i dont now if you could still do it though but you can try.

You know what, that's the place I mentioned in a previous post. I seriously hate you for telling, though lol.

And yes, it's still doable, and it still locks you on the island, and STILL eventually brings your dream island to an end, and ports you to a NoWhere Land.

Last I've seen, it only does an island. I haven't seen the
( coughoriginalportroyalcough ) in a while...

OH, That one. Well, I once saw... (glances around) The old Tortuga. Weird thing though. It had all the bosses that had appeared on Tortuga since running around town. The mingling of the old and the new. It was... so beautiful! (Tears in eyes)

'Fraid not. See, some people take longer than others to figure out the workings of the game, savvy? I didn't figure out screenies until about two months ago.

Inside the Governor's Mansion...had to find my way back in here after the island makeover.



Now wouldn't this be a cool spot to be in when you "purposely lose" to JR!!

I've entered that spot when JR gets the Mansion. It's pretty cool, since you see the flames, smoke and broken wind binds.

There is actually a few that I know of. But the one I like most, is when you get a crew, and go and sink a flagship, but don't kill last enemy on the ship, log out, log back in (onto a diff server) board the ship, tp to a diff server again, and all of the server will be empty. No enemies, no players, no townfolks. But I think they might have fixed it, not sure.

Oh I've got an awesome one! KINGSHEAD SECRET DOCK and no Im not crazy I know most of you think theres no way to get to the secret dock anymore but THERES A WAY!!!

1. First go to the second fort (past the town at kingshead)
2. Go past the little platform thingy (that bemimgton the vicious stands on) to the little building that looks like a jail but you cant go into.
3. After that go to the little corner where the end of the building connects to the stairs leading up to another platform.
4. Run INTO THE BUILDING NOT THE WALL at an angle. then after that you'll be in a glitched part.
5. Walk AWAY from the fort TOWRD the sea, keep running until you drop in some water. the swim SLOWLY (repeat SLOWLY) backwards until your on the ground again, but try to go all the way to the edge WITH OUT FALLING INTO THE WATER.
6. Once your at the edge dance a jig. DONT STOP DANCING, after a couple seconds run TOWARD THE SEA. Once you do that you'll be flying. Dont keep running forward, just walk a couple steps.
7. Once your flying turn to your left and run until you see a wall follow that wall until the end.
8. Turn at the wall and PAN YOUR CAMERA DOWN until you can see the secret dock.
9. Run at it until you fall but dont keep running.

And thats how you do it! :D

HeHeHethis is fun...I think I couldn't fly very high, but I fell near the wall and old dock was in water in front of me...when I swam to it exited glitch onto upper parapets....then my puter froze up...:piratear:

Yeah i kinda do. In The Black Pearl boss battle whenever your facing the Goliath you can run away from it and there is open water everywere and if you keep sailing the island will disapear and you will be stuck out there sorounded by open water its cool!

Im not sure if anyone has said this yet(i got tired of reading all of the the post) but there is a secret island on the pvp glitch. Its pretty cool, the only problem is you have to log off to leave.:buds:

It said it alright. It has been reported to show up as the old Port Royal once in a while, but it's only been proved once. The island of which you speak is actually Isla Cangrejos without enemies or trees. (Has anyone noticed the floating cave there?)

yah, I went there once by complete accident while PVPing with my guild. Tried to get out of it so many different ways, including going through the cave, swimming in the ocean (Which was endless by the way. Never said anything about needing a boat to enter high seas), TPing, ect ect ect. The sky was also weird, becoming like a sunset color or something. Finally had to log out to get out of it, and I haven't done it since

The map for Black Pearl Island has the same dimensions as the high seas Caribbean - Black Pearl Island is where Port Royal would be. Yes, if you sail to the "end of the world" it gives the same exact message. Just takes longer since you are starting from the very center of the map.

The PvP "secret" island is usually labeled "Pillager's Pass" under the compass when I've been there. The standard exit tunnel that is there floating off to the side does not function at all, though. Looks more like Driftwood island than Cangrejos, to me. If you are trying to do the "new" pvp glitch and go too early, before the timer says 1 second left, you end up there. If you go too late, you get the black loading screen. Of special note: the "new" pvp glitch no longer seems to supply infinite ammo (Hooray!) making it too, mostly harmless.

The "flying" technique for the Kingshead second dock, is the same as for the Padres volcano, the Tortuga rock, the Outcast doggie, etc. I have videos of some of them on YouTube. Since they are harmless (i.e. special attacks make you fall) I do not expect them to be changed again, any time soon. (Hope not, anyhow. Lots of people have harmless fun with them.)

To add on to this, if you wait long enough ( And really, you don't have to wait too long ), the island - as well as the ocean - WILL disappear, resulting in your location becoming something that I believe has "error" in it, and a few numbers. The only way to leave is to log out.

Also, I have seen the old Port Royal again through this glitch. I've now mainly seen that island, however it may depend on the tunnel - I've never tested it.

this is so cool and i did have the flying glitch i idnt think to take screen shots cuz i was like what the!! how did this happen!! and i was yell to pirates that i was flying above saying hey!!! up here!!! haha i cant wait to try to look for some of these spots sounds like fun and to try to find new ones fun haha :D

hee hee hee... I been there! And its actually not too hard to get to.... when you know how to do it the easy way :pirate6: I did it with a combination of the jumping glitch and the volcano glitch :D its fun and the veiw is awesome :dancetl6:

Here is one:
you all know of the main Kingshead dock right? well it is suppose to have some Navy on it. Ever notice on your compass you see enemy blips outside the Kingshead door in the fort? well to go there, be sure your in swift foot glitch, where you can go over the walls, you arrive on the dock, WITH Navy on it. Also, the sea is noe endless, that's right ENDLESS! I did this before, I swam very far, and Kingshead looked like a shadow on the horizon when I am in the Fort.

Umm I haven't played for a while so I don't know if this glitch still works. I got some screenshots but they were on a different computer that no longer has them anyways.

On the island with scary mary (I forget which one it is) you go into the forest. When you enter there is a pile of rocks a little ways out on the left wall. You gotta use them to glitch into the wall. then when you run in circles you'll start rising! It's fun to throw grenades down below. But if you're lower level you gotta be careful not to go past the wall. You'll fall and there are higher level stumps down there!

I wonder if I was the first person to explore it!!!!!!!!!! you can get thier if you glitch the rock but go straight until the cave on the right is gone. If you don`t travel far enough you'll be inside the cave of tormenta but if your lucky , you will have a great view just like the dock of kingshead!!! But theres 2 views yuo'll like. Enjoy this glitch!!!!! This replace Kingshead!!!

There is a balcony on Port Royal, but you can't get up there anymore..... they put rocks or something in the way.

You can still get there... If you know how to improvise...
