Boss Ships
Do u think boss ships like navy EITC or jolly ships should be included
|
Absolutely.....we need far more than the Goliath. Hopefully we will see more in the months to come.
|
The golaith was preety easy
|
I'm thinking a ship that just turns fast would be a challenging boss. A very long one that was nearly impossible to get in front of if it spawned beside you would be a tough one too, assuming it had the cannons to compensate for the size. A ship that could grapple you in would be interesting, especially if it shot an undead hand with a long chain of bones attached.

I'm sure all the big badies from the movies will enter the game some time or another.
I sure hope when they make the Flying Dutchman that it's impressive looking. I really wonder what Jolly Roger's ship will look like. I really hope they don't go cheap on us and make Jolly Roger's ship a regular skeleton ship. |

What i meant though was like the land boss enemies to make water boss enemies |
What we missing is skeleton flag ships, imagine a Storm Reaper or a Death Omen with a flag on it.

Yea, it would be cool if every nationality had a boss ship sailing around one. Of course it would be boardable though! The War Frigate H.M.S. Dauntless for the navy captained by the level 40 boss James Norington. The War Frigate TCS Endevour for the EITC captained by the level 40 boss Cutler Beckett. The War Sloop Undertaker for the Skeletons captained by none other than the ruthless level 40 Jolly Roger. Finaly, The Flying Dutchman for the Demons captained by the level 40 Davy Jones. Hope you liked these! Tell me what you think!

If any water enemies come into the game they'll probably be mini sea serpents to help practice for The Kraken boss battle. |
Just because an enemy is on the ocean need not mean that it is a ship or a sea monster. There could be some sort of flying thing to make for a good enemy.

I think they should make bosses of each kind of ship, but keep their regular names, only make the color and design of the nametag different, and add a flaming skull for them,
and make them bigger, with more health, and change their ammo sets a bit Juggernaut bosses could have all explosives, Behemoths the same, ONLY MAKE THEIR EXPLOSIVES MORE VISIBLE!!!! IM SICK OF BEING SHOT WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING IF ITS GOING TO HIT OR NOT... and the same with the corsair, without that last comment about behemoths As for the undead boss ships, make them bosses as well, BUT, add a ship thats ALWAYS a boss called The Black Burner, their ammo sets are ALL Firebrand Also, add some undead Galleons... it would be interesting to see some holes in their fronts... Also, add some undead ships that are normally Navy and EITC, For example, make an Undead Juggernaut, Raise the levels a bit, and then the name tag would look like this Undead EITC Juggernaut War Frigate Lv46 Their ammos would be Thunder for the broadsides, and Fury as the Upper Deck cannons Hope you like my ideas |
Good ideas, I do see the flag ships somewhat as ship bosses though.

But I would also like to see ships just roaming the Server (1 per server) like the Flying Dutchman. In the early beta videos they showed footage of pirate's ships being boarded by Davy Jones' crew. |
Ooh yeah... i remember that beta video...
This guy with a Frigate would rope up on his ship with some lamps ( which i wish you could customize your ship with ) Then, the crew would board... they did some different things though lol I wonder if that guy survived... I would also like Disney to add SvS Flagships And, if your ship is about to sink, the enemy your attacking could board YOUR ship, and if you manage to kill the enemies, you steal THEIR ship, but your ship is inactive, and wont get attacked, you also have the choice to go back to your ship You cannot land if your on a host enemy ship... |
The EITC need some kind of mammoth ship, a kind of floating fort - maybe even like a large prison ship that the pirate has to escape from... just an idea.
|
If anyone asks me, we need more powerful ships, and I mean by the extremes. How about the Lv. 50 Navy Boss Flagship, the Navy Titan for example? The ship would have double everything of a War Frigate, I mean 18 sails, 40 broadsides, 15,600 health, 10,000 sail power, 28 cannons, all maned by the Navy, and onboard, all Level 36-40 Officers (or better yet, it could be an EITC ship, and you could battle the Host GMs, from the EITC Black Guard, in a huge team PVP on a gigantic frigate!). Then the ship could also do all the commands we can do, it should have "Take Cover", or "Open Fire". And then when you finally sink it, you get a cursed chest, which yields more gold then diamond royal.
I've sailed for quite a while, I mastered sailing at about level 19, and I'll tell you, all ships disappoint me except the EITC Corsair. All the other ships are extremely week and it takes forever to sink your ship (Although I will admit that Corsair is still a let down, because though it has powerful attacks, it has little health). The biggest disappointment by far is the Navy Goliath. I mean really, 3 person Boss Battle, all goes fine, and the ship goes down in 6 seconds? Or, with a big crew, which I timed, it took 4.67 seconds from the moment the first person fired their cannon? I guess they have to make the Goliath week since the Black Pearl only has so much health to get through the forts..... Sorry for the long rant :D. |
i think they should add it.:12_1_138::piratewheelgo2:

Behemoths? the same thing, their explosives are hard to see at night ( in game ). But i like your ideas |

I think they're should be fast ships that try and grapple you (that are otherwise light, somewhat sinkable, yet fast to boot). A boss ship where the fight is on your boat sounds like gravy (in otherwords, a fun should it be implementable, idea).

The only ship up to par as I have said is the EITC Corsair. They are extremely powerful, they use explosives and fireballs, and are very fast. I just wish they had more health. And sorry, I meant 25600 health, I was thinking of a War Sloop at the time hehe. |
Ahh does everyone forget that we saw Jolly's ship already?
When you first get on the boat during your welcome, Jolly's ship comes up. It is a HUGE but normal skele ship. :( |
Let's also tackle the idea of enemies that board YOUR ship! I like the grapple idea, to slow you down - or hold you while others blast away...
But, that would be pretty intense - to suddenly have to defend your decks from Black Guard, Navy or Undead... |
i think we do

and yeah, the Goliath was a big let down to me when i let it shoot a broadside ( i had never seen his broadside ) i was disappointed to see that its broadside was a regular cannon ball. |
