The "QUOTE" Game
 

Thought we may try someting new. I t may not work or catch on, but thought we could give it a try.

To play, you must post something, a story, praise for or a jibe at another pirate, something. BUT, your post must contain a quote from one of the movies. You include the quote as part of your conversation in your post, and you need to state who said it, and in which movie. Try to keep the quote as accurate as possible, even though you may use it out of text.


I'll start off.

In DW guild there is a player who started off as basic, played her pirate until she was well in the mid 20's notoriety before she got unlimited acess, and is one of the all time top 100 on the leaderbords in Enemies Defeated. Arianrhod "Has got to be one of the best pirates I have ever seen." (Quote made by the Lieutenant to the Commodore as they watched Jack and Will sail away on the Interceptor. First Movie.)

So it was Easter morning and Pirategirl09 was delighted to see the chocolate bunny smack dab in the middle of the basket. Just what she had wanted! I told her how she owed me some candy after stealing my Peeps off of my War Galleon. She told me I could have any candy I wanted but the bunny wasn't going anywhere. I then stated "You keep telling yourself that darling...." (Jack Sparrow - At Worlds End)

After aiding the lower level pirate complete his quest the Master Pirate exclaimed....If ya need anymore help...just whistle...You know how to whistle don't ya? Just put your lips together & blo* From Have & Have Not with Bogie & Bacall...

Nice Lizzy, But I meant that the quote has to be from one of the three Pirates movies!!!! LOL

Well we were all counting to our 50 bottles of rum when Sarah came and stole it all! "why is the Rum gone?" we asked! (POTC 1; Jack Sparrow) .... Best one I can think of offhand lol.. better ones to come :D

Well, Jack was out on his own, when, surprisingly, some of his old guildies that he abandoned said he needed him for something. thats when I said "why should I sail with any of you? four of you tried to kill me in the past, one of you succeded."

all I have to say and I will get Jack'd for this...but " we named the money Jack".

While I was fighting Urchinfists & Seabeards in Menta...another pirate asked me to help sink some ships. I responded "I'm a little busy right now"...Barbosa from Dead Man's Chest when they were fighting on ship against Davy Jones's crew & Will & Elizabeth asked him to marry them....

Sam Plankmonk walks along to Gunner's shack and blows all his rum up with a siege charge.
He asked ''Why the rum is gone''. I told him ''It isn't''. He runs off and shouts "SAM PLANKMONK BURNED ALL ME RUM... HANG HIM!!!!" Then Sam threw a smoke bomb at him and he is now deaf,drunk, and blind.

I was doing 'a quest' and talking to Scarlet for 'information' with a few of my friends when she slapped me! I said "I may have deserved that"... :D

When Sarah sank my War Galleon last night, I yelled, "$#@!TF%@#!!%!5 @r#@R @#L{ gv4324[- %$#%$#!@&6 5#$0 4" (Joshamee Gibbs, when they threw water on him to wake him up in the pig sty. First movie) LOL

The jail guard looked at the pirate sitting in the dank cell and laughed. The pirate exclaimed "If it weren't for these bars...I would have you already!" You would be dead with me dagger in your heart. From Dead Man's Chest when Will is talking to Elizabeth who is locked up in the cell by the EITC.

As Maria tried to convince the undead gypsy that she not actually alive but undead.. Thus no reason to kill her. She reminded him that "a dishonest person you can always trust to be dishonest.. Honestly.. Its the honest ones you want to watch out for..." Captain jack.. POTC1

Once I saw a monkey. So I yelled. "Monkey!"

Lizzy went to the tailors and got a entire new ensemble including a hat. She was greatly disappointed when she arrived at the Skellar partee, and the only compliment she received from her mates was "Nice Hat"....Jack Sparrow to Will Turner in Curse of the Black Pearl

Not in game, but my oldest son once was asking about allowance by saying,

"we were hoping for something more --- shiny." (Joshamee Gibbs - Dead Man's Chest)

I knew he was quoting, so I fed him the line... "Shiny?"

"Aye, shiny..."

OK, I got nothing, but that's just too funny Eliza ;) carry on...

After defeating 10 undead gypsies, I finally got what I was looking for. As I came aboard my ship, my crew jumped in joy expecting riches beyond compare."Its a key!" one said

Oy, So Jack Sharkbane met some Jack Sharkbane wannabe's. I'm serious, they dressed up just like me. There where at least five, and I was getting creaped out, so I then threw a smoke bomb and ran. as I did, they said, "Quite a charming fellow, isn't he?" "yes very good looking"

~The other jack sparrows right when the real Jack left, and right before the corpse Jack said "NOBODY MOVE! I dropped me brain."

Two of us boraded the Colossus flagship. It was crewed by all level 37 Navy. Sawyer grabbed her doll and ran away, leaving Basil to fight all 6 or 7 of them at once. He died. "I don't think I deserved that" Jack, the first time he got slapped on Tortuga. First movie.

Aye, Twas a dark night, with a crew O' Fourteen, with me Captain, Swash, His first mate, Del, Some other sea dogs, and then there was me. aye, a feirce battle it be, but we managed to board. Well, with a crew of Fourteen, ye can imagine that all Hades broke loose. Staffs and grenades, everywhere, knives a' flyin', pistols a' shootin', voodoo curses and heals all over and The CLANG and BANG of cutlasses. as for Meself, I was choppin' around with me cuttlass. as one of t' weaker ones, I was having trouble. many went down, and I almost went down. I whispered to the fallen, " I supposed ye didn't deserve that one either, eh?" asked I. " no, that one I deserved.
