New Enemy

If you could make a new enemy any kind of one what would it be.

Mine would be a Admiral 26-33 for the navy (another sword weilding moron wouldnt hurt)

Note:You dont have to do attacks and all that just what weapon they would use what side would they be on and thier levels

Machazzard 04-14-2009 03:28 PM

How about a new class. Ancient Ones (no relation to the movies but they could be cool)
They would be erie creatures that hover about the ground using VOODOO STAVES(first female enemies). they would have their own set of nature based skills. Using vines, lightning and fire to their advantage. The different levels would be

Lvl 30-33 = Ancient Maiden
Lvl 34-37 = Ancient Hag
Lvl 38+ = Ancient Harpy
*these creatures could be located deep within caves as a new addition to maybe, umm, catacombs?

Another new class. Mer-people. They could hide on shorelines of back padres beach and sit on rocks. Also you could add small pools of water in some of the various high level caves. They would be fun enemies. They would be even more fun if big-D made it so our weapons were usable in the water.

Some of their weapons would be a dagger and bites and tackles. (Not the pretty mermaids, the ones that BITE!! LOL)

*However, not all the mer-people are evil, only the ones cursed by Jolly Roger MWAAHAHAHAHA. You can visit an island that they could create, where there are only good mer-people. (Island enterable at level 35, making low levels want to level level level)

There would be almost every level of mer-people, but few will be available for low levels to fight. General Pop = Levels 25-40

In the misty mire, a new section would be added just for the new enemies so low levels have a chance to kill mer-people.

The Count 04-14-2009 03:40 PM

Werid but cool but i doubt if they do something unrealted to the movies.

Eliza Creststeel 04-14-2009 03:52 PM

Anyone notice there are NO female enemies of any sort? Granted the Royal Navy would not have had women sailor or soldiers, but the EITC is mercenary enough that if a gal could kill - she'd have a job. All the undead are male (that you can tell)..

Just a thought. Women can be just as devious and evil as men - if not MORE so. :)

Well that wouldnt be fair for us boys cause we cant hit girls AND THEY CAN HIT US

Jack Sunskull 04-14-2009 03:58 PM

They could add women enemies, that use the staff and voodoo doll. They can be undead and have levels of 35-40. Just for the fun of it they can have a boss that is named Snow White or Cinderella.

Juliana Maria 04-14-2009 04:03 PM

Agreed Eliza and DMD0223... Where be the female enemies? Us women can be just as dangerous as the men:degen::piratetongueor4:

What about Davy Jones' crew some of them could be female.:laughks2:
- Syren (Level 28-38)
- Rouge Pirate (Level 33-40
There are some of my ideas!

League 04-15-2009 07:31 PM

Who are we to choose our enemies? Why want a female enemy just for the sake of having a female enemy? All that being said, I have made many female enemies, them in the form of fellow pirates who've gotten on me bad side (or rather, my not-as-good side), or who I've gotten on the bad side thereof.

I'd just like to see an enemy with a staff, that I could make good use of the dagger against.

edwardburnskull 04-15-2009 11:43 PM

Mermaids and sirens have been mentioned in potc BOOKS. hopefully they will be added. No FEMALES, I do NOT fight girls. I wish they would add Davy Jones ships and flagships. they also could make HUGE spiders. Imagine, they shoot threads to freeze you, and they bite you and inject venom. add a new isle called Isla Spidrata or some thing. you could add a quest to unlock a whip made of their thread. They would be lvl 15+ so low levels can fight.

piratewithskill 04-16-2009 12:28 AM

An american boat with george washington and abraham lincoln on it. lol

As long as they're really HOT! LOL. I think they should have a whole group of enemies that are purely female. That would be fun. I'd finally be able to hit a girl! :D

[QUOTE=Machazzard;132276]How about a new class. Ancient Ones (no relation to the movies but they could be cool)
They would be erie creatures that hover about the ground using VOODOO STAVES(first female enemies). they would have their own set of nature based skills. Using vines, lightning and fire to their advantage. The different levels would be

Lv 30-33 = Ancient Maiden
Lv 34-36 = Ancient Hag
Lv 37-39 = Ancient Harpy
Lv 40-42 = Ancient Dryad
Lv 43-45 = Ancient Forest Spirit

Love that idea.
Im already imagining the Thunder bolts, these are the skill effects

Thunder: Paralizes you for 5 seconds, stopping you from switching weapons.

Vines: Locks you on your spot, same animation as Grave Shackles

Fire: Burns you for 30 seconds.

Ancient Maidens have the Skull staff
Use Blast, Soul Flay, and Pestilence.
Can use Vine Locks.

Ancient Hags have the Warped Staff ( The green one )
They use everything above, including Wither and Flaming skull.
Can use Fire to burn you.

Ancient Harpies have the Rend Staff Staff ( The red one )
They use everything above, including Banish ( it would do a fair amount of damage to you, as a living being ) and Desolation ( Takes less damage from themselves than it does to you, does same amount of damage to you )
Can use

One type of Ancient creature I have is:

Ancient Dyrad Lv40-42
Uses the Vile Staff
Has everything...
Can switch to the Voodoo doll...
Can heal other enemies, but with very little healing power.

Also I edited the level max for the Ancient Harpy.
IF YOU DISNEY GUYS ARE READING THIS, PLEASE ADD THESE CREATURES, AND MAKE A NEW ISLAND WITH A TEMPLE, WHERE THESE CREATURES LIVE...
SIMILAR TO ISLA TORMENTA, NAME IT:
Isle Of The Ancient

I also thought of a new Ancient enemy: Ancient Forest Spirit Lv43-45
I have some new ideas that will help DISNEY create the Temple.
You enter a cave that has a different entrance design, it has a large opening, with roots, and Fly Traps on both sides of the door.
You have to defeat both to get through, otherwise the door will be covered with roots.

You will walk down a long hall, with some holes in the ceiling, some torches on the walls, and sunlight going through the holes.

Once your out of the hallway, 2 Ancient Maidens ( Lv30 ) will greet you at the door. Defeat them to continue.

The main grounds will be there when you get past the hallway. the grounds will be the EXACT samething as the original Fort Charles fort grounds, without the hanger thing where the Grunt used to stand on. The only difference is all the walls will have moss growing, and there will be a ceiling on the top.

If you keep going forward starting at the hallway entrance, you will reach the balcony thats in Fort Charles. It ( as well as the rest of the place ) will have cracks in the floor and edges, holes in the walls, and moss.

When you reach the Balcony, there will be an Ancient Hag standing in place of a Mercenary at Fort Charles.
When you get to the spot where a Mercenary would stand on in Fort Charles, if you turn left while facing the small arch, you will see a broken-off piece of the edge. Walk to it, and you will see a knocked-down pillar. Walk across and then you will be on a small platform.

An Ancient Hag and an Ancient Maiden will greet you. Defeat them and they drop 2 keys. Now that you have the keys, go under the pillar to find a door similar to the one on Rumrunner's Isle, that goes down.

You will be in a jail-like room. A stair case will lead out of the jail, and another stair case will lead back up where you came from.
Once you get to the door, you will get a notice that says, "This door is locked, you need the key for this door"

If you have the key, it will say, "Use the Ornate Key?" Answer Yes, and the door will open. Go through it to reach the office similar to the one in the old Fort Dundee office.

You will find the Ancient Maiden Boss here. Her name tag will be like this:

:EnemyBullet:
Elementalist Maiden Lv33

You may defeat her if you wish, but this isn't like soloing General Darkhart or Remmington The Vicious. You will need at least 2 people.

The door that usually leads out will be blocked by fallen rocks. You must go back the way you came from.

All the enemies will have respawned ( Of course. Why wouldn't they? This isnt a boss battle, after all. It's just an exclusive place for Lv30+ players ).

When you get back to the balcony, if you look to the right of the small arch, there will be a door on the right of your screen.
The second key you acquired will unlock that door.

Once you get in, 2 Ancient Maidens will greet you. Defeat them, and one of them will drop a key. You will see a hallway. Follow it.
When you reach the end, the exit of the hallway will be blocked by fallen rocks. To your left, a small spiral staircase will lead to a small room.

In the room, you will find a door, and the Ancient Hag Boss. Her nametag will be like this:

:EnemyBullet:
Elementalist Hag Lv36

You may defeat her if you wish, but this isn't like soloing General Darkhart or Remmington The Vicious. You will need at least 2 people.

The key you acquired earlier unlocks the door in the middle of the room. Once you go through the door, you enter a small room with nothing in it. In the middle of the room is a door on the ground, similar to the door on Rumrunner's Isle.

Once you go through the door, you will be on the mast of a ship. The room is VERY large, and the ship will be sunken, and broken up in pieces, similar to the ships in Tormenta Cave, and the ship on Driftwood Isle. The room will be filled with water. On the mast you are on, will be a stair case that runs into the water. Get into the water, and swim to a round entrance in the wall, where water flows out of. There are broken bars, the gap in the bars will be wide enough to walk through. When you are at the end of the tunnel, a ladder goes up through a hole.

Climb the ladder and you will be in another large room, but slightly smaller. Inside the room is nothing but the Ancient Harpy Boss. Her nametag will look like this:

:EnemyBullet:
Elementalist Harpy Lv39

You may defeat her if you wish, but this isn't like soloing General Darkhart or Remmington The Vicious. You will need at least 2 people.

The roof is broken down, part of the wall has crumbled, and in one corner, everything has fallen down. If you walk to the edge, you will see a lot down below, even ships out in the sea.

Leave the area the way you came in.

Back at the Main Grounds, from the starting hallway, if you turn right, you will see a staircase. If you walk to this staircase, it will be broken down halfway up the staircase, so you have to turn back.

Back at the Main Grounds, from the starting hallway, if you turn left, you will see a staircase. Follow it.

When you get to the top, you will be on the second floor. There are a lot of enemies in this area.

In this floor, you will also see some Undead. Undead enemies here include:
Undead Slasher
Undead Grenadier
Undead Executioner
Undead Gypsy
Undead Raider
AND the elusive Undead Captain

When you enter the room, you will be greeted by an Undead Executioner and an Ancient Harpy. Defeat them to continue.

There will be another balcony similar to the one in the original Fort Charles.

On that balcony, you will find General Darkhart on the left, and Undead Timothy Dartan on the right. You do not have to fight them.

From where you entered Floor 2, Look forward. Not only will you see the staircase that was broken down on Floor 1, but the staircase leading to Floor 3 will be broken down as well. On the right of that door, however, will be a fallen stone pillar that leads to a small catwalk.
At the end of the catwalk, there will be another fallen stone pillar, leading to another catwalk. At the end of this catwalk will be yet another stone pillar. But this one leads to Floor 3.

Here, you will see more Ancient creatures and Undead. Undead here includes:
Undead Executioner
Undead Gypsy
Undead Raider
Undead Captain.

You will be greeted by 2 Undead Captains as soon as you enter. Defeat them.

Another balcony. This time, you will see an Ancient Dryad. There are several enemies in that room, you dont have to fight them.

The staircase ahead will not be broken down, so head up the stair case. You will reach Floor 4.

In this floor, you will meet the highest of the high level enemies. You will also meet the Ancient Forest Spirit.
Enemies found here will be:
Undead Executioner
Undead Gypsy
Undead Raider
Undead Captain
Ancient Harpy
Ancient Dryad
Ancient Forest Spirit

Here, you will be greeted by 2 Forest Spirits.

Another balcony. At the edge of the Balcony, you will find a Navy Dragoon battling an Undead Captain, an Assassin battling an Ancient Harpy, and an Officer battling a Undead Raider. You will see much more. Do what you like here, then leave when your done.

There is nothing else to see, EXCEPT a hidden door under the wooden rope hanger thing that had a Grunt on it in the original Fort Charles.

Enter it. There you will find a VERY LARGE flooded room. The door you go through will land you on a mast. There will be a ladder to leave.

The room will be extremely flooded. You will see a tunnel with broken bars. The gap is large enough to go through. The tunnel is actually the water tunnels of the temple. This is a very long place to explore, so if you have to go soon, you shouldn't enter.

If you keep going forward through the tunnel, you will find a sort of Y area, where you have two places to go. If you go left, you will find a Navy Dragoon. Defeat him to continue.

When you reach the end, the exit will be blocked by fallen rocks. You will find a Rock Crab and a Crusher Crab here. To your right, the tunnel continues. Keep going, and then you have reached the end of the tunnel ( but not the end of this area ).

On the ceiling in the spot with the fallen rocks, water will be flowing in. At the end, there will be a hole in the floor. Water flows through it. Jump down into the hole.

When you reach the bottom, you will find the room flooded. There will be a small dock at the end of the room. On the dock is a ladder. Go to it and enter.

You will be on a concrete ledge. The rest of the room is flooded. Towards the other end of the room is a small tunnel with broken bars. The gap is big enough to swim through. There is also a small wooden stair case to your right. Go up.

When you get at the top of the wooden staircase, you will be on a concrete floor. It will be a bit cracked, and will have moss growing on the walls. You will see some Ancient Harpies. You will also see the Ancient Harpy Boss. Her name tag will look like this:

:EnemyBullet:
Elementalist Dryad Lv42

You can defeat her if you wish, but this isn't like soloing General Darkhart or Remmington The Vicious. You will need at least 2 people.

Go back down the stairs, and go through the tunnel. When you reach the end, you will drop back down to the tunnel where the fallen rocks were.

Note: Remember the other tunnel with the broken rocks? This is the exact same place, but on the other side.

Go back to the Y area, and turn right. you will be in another room that looks exactly the same as the other. Only here, you will see the Ancient Dryad Boss. Her nametag will look like this:

:EnemyBullet:
Elementalist Forest Spirit Lv45

You can defeat her if you wish, but this isn't like soloing General Darkhart or Remmington The Vicious. You will need at least 2 people.

Go back down the stairs, and go through the tunnel. When you reach the end, there will be a tunnel to your right. There will be a ladder. Go up. Then, you will be in another tunnel. Go to the end, and drop down the hole. You will be back in the area when you went left.

There is nothing else to explore now.

Hope you like my idea. And I really hope Disney adds these!

And please, comment about this whole idea.
Come on people. Comment and/or post!

League 05-26-2009 03:22 AM

How about creating some nefarious pirate character, like Nefarious the Pirate (he's quite the character!). His crew could be enemies to all n the Caribbean, including, dare I say it, someone like OFx Zeppers! Sorry, just had to name a pirate. He'd be the Inestimable League's enemy too.

Stephen O'Malley 05-26-2009 04:42 AM

I think they should add a Seabeard Boss on Isla Tormenta and have it named as Davy Jones's first mate. Savvy?

CarribeanThunder 06-14-2009 09:32 PM

how come no one's posting? it just had to happen right after i made my story? it always happens when i post on ANY thread.... sigh....

Sith kinght pirate 06-14-2009 10:09 PM

John Walker 06-14-2009 11:00 PM

Shnoodell 06-15-2009 01:24 AM

We just need to get this stuff to disney... especially those elimators whatchamacallit things lol those sound fun

The Commodore 06-15-2009 04:20 AM

It'd be fun to have new enemies, and more Boss Battles.

CarribeanThunder 07-04-2009 06:31 PM

I agree Commodore, there DOES need to be another boss battle.
( Haven't been on POF for 1-2 months, so welcome me back lol )

Eliza Creststeel 07-04-2009 06:41 PM

Caribbe,

Quite a nice homework assignment you did... You get a GOLD STAR.

I think its great that so many agree, they need to balance the scales on the gender issue. I can under why there's no female navy and few female pirates (the whole women on ship being bad luck thing).

But, would Beckett ever consider hiring some nasty woman to be in the Black Guard or like Caribbean and others have suggested - having undead women? Still good ideas.

How about some more CRITTERS?

Like SNAKES! or giant bugs (Roaches, etc.) Remember those treasures for Tia, a lot of animals for those aren't being used as enemies... They should.

toanuju22 07-04-2009 08:12 PM

ok my ideas for new enemies are
Lieutenant Navy lvl32-40 uses cutlass
Commodore Eitc lvl32-40 uses cutlass
Undead mongrel Skeleton uses pistol lvl20-32

The only reason that there are no females in the Navy or EITC is because it's based on the
17th century where women stayed home and barely had any rights, and men didn't really think they could command ships and go into battle so thats why there are no women enemies.

MacIronhawk 07-10-2009 04:25 AM

Swash is right. I can see why they don't have any women enemies, although the undead could be women or men. There's undead witches but they're men. I don't want to sound like a stereotype but wouldn't a witch be a woman and not a man?

I'm sure they could add in women enemies. I'd certainly like to see a woman boss to make the game more interesting. Elizabeth became the Pirate "King" so why shouldn't there be a mini EITC, Navy, or undead woman boss?

Or they could do what the Pirates of the Caribbean ride does and make women that go around beating us pirates with pots and pans. Something to the movie effect would be nice. Maybe an actual ghost lady like from the second pirate movie when Elizabeth used her cloths to scare everyone.(or was it third)

Any new enemy would be great. As long as there's something fresh in the game to keep us busy I'll be happy.

I have 2 things to pass that:

What if you had YOUR ship, and a girl was on it? No bad luck there lol. The only bad luck is to the ships I sink.

What if a woman was sailing her own ship? Couldn't like say, an EITC Maiden Sail a Juggerna- wait no, a Sea Viper?

CaptainSam 07-30-2009 05:26 PM

Heres some for Davy Jones.

Shellfish (For fun he has a crab on his back :D) He has a doll.
Lvl: 31-34

Snailbrain (Has a head of a snail) He uses 2 cutlasses.
30-40
Barnicle Head (Has barnicles over his head) He uses 2 daggers.
30-49

Anenome (Has some anenome and seaweed on his head) He uses.... 2 STAFFS!!! :O Hes a lvl 40-70. O_O Imagen a lvl 70 Anenome boss! O_O

Eliza Creststeel 07-30-2009 08:00 PM

I like the additional Davy's crew member ideas. What about the Shark guy? He would be frightening!

As for female enemies, granted it is politcal correctness - but such a large percentage of the player pirates are women and they're fighting all male enemies. The Navy would never have women, unless they were non-uniformed agents, but the EITC could hire some nasty gals.

Someone said they wouldn't hit a woman, how about those poor Navy guards who are getting whupped on by female pirates? How do you think they feel? Granted, female pirates in history were rare, but the greatest pirate ever was a Chinese woman.

But... in my opinion Black Beard is one of the most famous pirates in history. I like his history, even though he was a mean guy.

"Black" Bart Roberts was the best! He is estimated to have captured over 470 vessels, far more than any pirate in The Golden Age of Piracy.

KeeperOfTheCode 10-09-2009 07:40 PM

Says I , (and I've been saying this for some time!) we need some unique bosses. A powerful python boss in the misty mire, or on the very edges of cuba.

KeeperOfTheCode 10-11-2009 07:08 PM

Anyone still here? If so, CALYPSO!.... Level 60 or so... Capable of sending swarms of crabs, the dead who died at sea, (she's a goddess after all.) and killing us with her power...

I agree we do need more women enemies. Another thing is that more enemies should be added like the spanish and french navy. And when will Davy Jones crew be on other islands beside tormenta!? Also some ghost enemies would be awesome.

swordshot 12-01-2009 02:08 AM

I say there will be a new kind: Dego
they will have there own little island filled with Dego creatures. In there hide-out it will*be filled with Dego creatures. There island will be the size of tormenta and how to get into their hideout you have to go down a hillsoon the hill we go into the water. soon you will be underwater completly.a bridge will open.you go into the hideout.there will be water filled and on you left and on your right there will be a place to get on when your on it it'll bring you to a side filled with Degos run passed them you will see a door go in the door their will be no more water and you are there.

Angel Seafish 12-01-2009 05:32 AM

Well the mer-folk could be npc's. And I thought the undead Maitres was female. Anyway here are some enemies.

Level 40-46: Aztec Warrior. Would use cutlass.
Level 24-33: Aztec Grenadier. Of course, grenades, bur seige charge and fire bomb.
Level 2-6: Giant poisonous toad. Would use its tonge for a hit. And could stun you.
Level 10-17: Undead Thief. Uses gun with hex eater shot and silver/steel shot.
Level 6-15: Giant poisonous toad boss. Same attack as regular frog just more damage.

Well thats all I got lol.

Should be a lady. Warlock is the correct term for a male witch. I like the lady with the pots and pans thing. That would be hilarious!

I agree with you on this one. In the movie a women sailed a ship. I'm a girl. Nothing bad happened to my ship. I was fine.

Artemis was a greek goddess. We're a little bit out of her jurisdiction...

Eliza Creststeel 12-01-2009 05:17 PM

Angel,

Historically, it was superstition to have women aboard ships at all. Likely, this is stemmed from how bad lonely men would behave or get distracted from duty while at sea.

Obviously, women did sail. There are many stories of nautical women, including some of the most notorious pirates (the most powerful pirate in history was a Chinese woman, who commanded an entire fleet of ships).

It is still an issue that POTCO has not evened the genders by making more female enemies, except like the Hive Queen. EITC agents, female pirates, female native warriors, etc. are all possible.

Sadly, I think having any 'native' villians may end up being considered not politically correct. After all, right now - the human enemies are all white men. Which is too sterile. This isn't Star Wars where the baddies have to all be white, british guys.

The Hive Queen IS female, but the thing's a bug :laughks2:.
Anyway, the East India Company ( in History ) was mainly British white men. So I guess this could make sense for all the EITC/Navy guards ( Redcoats back in history :D ) to be "white, british guys."

Other than that, I agree, Eliza.
Now that you're done with reading this post, go along to read other threads and such :).

KeeperOfTheCode 12-06-2009 04:41 AM

I agree with your thinking; both of you. White British-men were pretty much the only ones fight for Britain. That's the way it worked. The British fought for Britain. And ladies fought for woman's suffrage. :laughks2:

I agree with Eliza though. We haven't seen a single female enemy except the Hive Queen. That brings up an intriguing subject. The arthropod/insect-based enemies have been grouped together, like they're linked by a hive mind, but I think we need some that actually are linked. If you attack their leader, the whole nest turns on you.

Angel Seafish 12-06-2009 05:17 PM

Arent the Maitres' (spelling?) female?

Nathaniel Firegrin 12-06-2009 10:17 PM

WoW I love your idea, CarribeanThunder

I suggest we bring in some of the Pelegostos in POTC 2 :)

KeeperOfTheCode 12-07-2009 12:20 AM

That would cause some ethnic controversy. To avoid this, the game may just leave them out. (a sorry loss)

MacIronhawk 12-07-2009 01:35 AM

I find it odd that it would be politically incorrect to have natives in the game.

Like the navy, we could be limited to only a few weapons. I would personally think them being high level enemies and only using the voodoo doll or staff on them would be challenging.(or at least it'd bring in some more diversity)

Also, women navy and EITC... I would like to see them. I'm sure they could find a way to put them in the game.

pirateLPS123987 12-09-2009 08:24 PM

What about higher level undead, navy and EITC? they only go up as far as lvl 38, that's unfair towards them, Davy has lvl 22-50's :degen:

Also, enemies with staff that are harder to defeat then Thrall Captains would be cool

There should be lvl 50-60 ships, as the Death Omen and Juggernauts have been here way before the caps raised, so they made the game less challenging, bring on those high level ships! :piratewheelgo2:

Captain Seafarer CO. 12-09-2009 08:55 PM

Traitor (Multi level)

It would be an enemy NPC that looked just like us but would randomly use all the weapons even on the same attack, just like we do.

Another off topic would be a normal working server, where you could do quests and so forth BUT able to engage and get engaged from other players around you.

If they did that, the game popularity would highly increase, I'm no marketing expert but this is a winner. All levels go, noobs enter at your own risk (I have a lv 3, 22, 28, 34 and 50 right now) so me lv 3 would have to run like a rabbit!!! It would be so much fun!!!! even me lv 50 would have a hard time if a couple other 50s ganged up on me.... and if ye get tired simply go back to a normal dull server.... no harm, no foul... oh man! I hope they do that!

Eliza Creststeel 12-09-2009 09:39 PM

Surprising how long the gender issue went on. Suffice it to say that most of the counter point has been historical accuracy - which of course POTCO has nearly NO basis in. It is after all, a fantasy. In fact, a good argument is that the game promotes the idea of strong, independent women who can function at buccaneers. Should the same apply to those women who purse the darker side?

So, keeping that in mind, there should also be no issue creating native tribes of warriors to fight. Anyone notice that most of the actors playing the Caribbean natives were polynesian, asian, phillipino, etc. etc. etc. So, there's little, if any real world to try and be holden to. As for as correctness - the Code would still hold for them (No Guns). IN FACT - in the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End video game for PS - you fight on Pelegosto and some of the warriors are women. So Disney had no issue with either already.

But, for the bulk of this discussion - there is definitely room for:

More Royal Navy ranks (maybe even special agents who use voodoo)
EITC agents
Other pirates
Native tribes
Myriads of creatures.

As for bosses, they need to bump the aggression level back up a little - so enemies around a boss will come and attack you too. That should be the idea, that the boss is not only the toughest but has others to protect themselves.

KeeperOfTheCode 12-10-2009 05:31 PM

I agree entirely. Like I said, they're Jolly Roger's Captains/Lieutenants. They should have some sort of body guard. Maybe specific only to them.

Truth is, the highest Undead level is Lv35. Undead Captains exist during Invasions, but they have no levels.

Also, how have Death Omen/Juggernauts/Behemoths made the game LESS challenging? They were the only things to break the Level Cap ( besides the Goliath back in the day, where it was randomly a level from Lv39-Lv41 ). Plus, The Juggernauts and Behemoths had explosives. Death Omen had both Fury and Thunder.

Just my point of view.

Edit: I meant TECHNICALLY the highest was Lv35 for Undead, since you don't see Undead Captains ( who, to correct supersam10999's post, were Lv33-38, if I remember correctly ).

Jolly Roger 12-30-2009 11:25 PM

Just a thought. Women can be just as devious and evil as men - if not MORE so. :)

Actually I am pretty sure that there are French Undead Maitres's that are female. And I would like to see more female enemies as well as maybe some men or women on davy jones crew in tormenta that could fight with arms and legs. But I would love if we could fight back with arms and legs. Because when pirates are down to their last straw, for example say I was out of dagger ammo, I could quickly switch to my fighting weapon and per say maybe fight with fists and legs, like kickboxing or something. Those are my ideas. :)

Angel Seafish 12-31-2009 04:05 AM

Lol Kermit, I was thinking that is what we should have started out with.

Admiral Finch 12-31-2009 04:45 AM

Agreed. When pirates had no weapons they fought with their bare hands and got down to business. :D

Rofl. Just thinking, Will Turner must have a lot of cutlasses.

KeeperOfTheCode 01-03-2010 02:41 AM

Punching directly might make the game too realistic. This would also cause problems with customers. Fists and such aren't such a good idea. But back to the original topic! WHAT NEW ENEMY IDEAS DO YOU HAVE??!!

Eliza Creststeel 01-03-2010 02:53 AM

The whole fist fighting argument is fairly lame, considering we can shoot, stab, slice, BLOW UP, burn, and LIFE DRAIN our enemies. But, Head Butt is okay... HUH?

swordshot 01-03-2010 04:21 AM

how about we just stop fighting about females and males and what they use.Imagine some of the alligator or vampire bats and all being females

JM Ohara 01-03-2010 04:59 AM

I just wanna see something, anything at all wielding a staff, I don't care what! Oh an the Goliath in the open ocean, now that would be a challenge!

Jeanne Stormcutter 01-03-2010 09:05 PM

How about seagulls? You'd lose 10 health if they hit you with their excrement :psmiley35:

KeeperOfTheCode 01-04-2010 10:20 PM

Um... no. Seagulls are just weird, but I think perhaps a Python/boa constrictor would be nice.

Chalupa 01-07-2010 11:27 PM

Goliath in the open sea! Yes!!!

CarribeanThunder 01-10-2010 01:14 AM

Here's an idea of mine that I've recently thought of.

You know how there are two types of War Sloops, War Galleons, and War Frigates in the Navy and EITC ships' teams? Well, I was thinking that maybe Disney could make Predators, Colossuses, Dreadnoughts, Corsairs, Behemoths and Juggernauts into a new class of ship. One that is like the Goliath's class. And make the Sloops and Galleons different from what the Frigates will look like ( aka different from the Goliath's design ).

And give the Monarchs, Man-O-Wars, Ogres and Warlords the look of a normal War Galleon and War Frigate.

What do YOU guys think? It would put a step up for the Navy and EITC'S forces.

Angel Seafish 01-10-2010 02:21 AM

Well why not just make new types of ship classes and just add new ships? Anyway maybe we should have ship bosses (just like Goliath but like a Navy Monarch Boss for example). Anyway back on topic to the new enemies.

Peg Leg: Ranges from level 35-45 Uses Dagger
Man Ray (hehe like in spongebob but a different design): Ranges from level 40-45 Uses Staff
Oyster (like the Malusk): Ranges from level 40-45 Uses Grenade.

KeeperOfTheCode 01-10-2010 05:13 AM

Has anyone considered Calypso's followers? Off topic, she was actually a greek sea nymph. Who knew? Oh, wait, I did. Calypso's followers would have voodoo, and maybe be minor spirits. Something like Constance Sorrow, but slightly more solid.

Our Tormenta friends should be bumped up even more to dominate the ranks!

Midhav 08-10-2010 12:02 PM

Nice ideas Sasank.

How about Undead Sorcerers and Undead Alchemists?

Undead Sorcerers can be those who summon spirit and magic with their hands. They should be able to block attacks in the air. They should get into your mind and plant idea (LOL JK... Inception reference).

Undead Alchemists can be like the Shadow Lord. They should be making items and voodoo stuff for attacking (PotCo told us in an opinion poll of Voodoo Item making - it should be a new skill called Alchemy). And the enemy Alchemists should use even chemical bombs for killing us...

For Undead Necromancers I want to see people who summon Undead at their own will.

Apart from Alchemy we should be given skills of Sorcery and Necromancery. The latter should fall as an unlock-able skill of the former, prolly at lvl 15 of that skill.

This can be part of various Character Classes. If we opt for magic (voodoo) we should be falling in the path of Dolls, Staves, Alchemy, Sorcery and Necromancery.

I would like Alchemy to infuse elements of Chemistry in it... because I hear that the new trilogy might have something to do with Sci-Fi which makes it that the world of PotC is not necessarily run only by magic. Gods of Aztecs, Mayans and Greeks may be there, even alternate dimensions, immortals, and illusions of a skull appearing on the moon. There can always be science to it.

Therefore, I would like us to collect/buy Chemicals... Making gunpowder, etc. can be a part of Alchemy. Even forging gold coins.

These undead should dominate the new islands. On the crew of DJ being bumped up... well, they can always introduce Hammerheads (Maccus), Electric fish people (Angler), etc.

Dog Firestack 08-10-2010 02:21 PM

I'd like to see the crew of Davy Jones have those chain shot ammo as weapons like in the movies.....

Tiberius Fireskull 08-11-2010 04:10 AM

I like the ideas for all these new enemies... female enemies as well. We need some new higher level undead, navy, and EITC. And lets add at least one more island with Davy Jones's crew. Maybe Isla Cruces (the one where Jack, Norrington and Will Turner fought for the key)

Lets also throw out some higher level bosses. Where is my Davy Jones boss? A boss that can get up to level 45 at least would be nice. Also, some new Davy Jones enemies. (Forgive me if these were already posted)

Hammerhead: Looks like Davy Jones's first mate in the movies, he uses a broadsword and has all the sword moves. Levels 50-60 (give us a challenge!)

Eelman (or some name like that): Looks like that eel guy who was eating peoples faces in the movies. uses a sabre, with all the sword moves. Levels 35-50

Hermit Crab Head: This is the guy whos hermit crab head is always falling off. Level 25-30, he uses a dagger.

Cant say much more that hasnt already been posted, however we should have some skeletons using swords other than cutlass. Duelists should be using sabres. They are duelists for crying out loud! I could also see raiders using broadswords....

One last thing, the problem with staff using enemies is casting. If a player sees the enemy casting, all they have to do is hit it with some attack that interrupts it, and the player wont get hit. Maybe some staff using enemies that dont need to cast.... but that would seem odd to me....

Anyway, I do agree that some new, and higher level enemies are needed.

Benjamin Prowash 08-15-2010 02:30 AM

I have an idea. Jolly Should Invade Cuba. Here's what could happen.

Tia Dalma comes back from her... residence in the woodsy place. She and Jolly meet on the beach to fight. She has a Health Bar, just like Jolly. Here's what would happen.

Jolly would bring an army of Undead Clerics ( Level 45-50 ) with him. They would heal him with their dolls. We could attune Tia Dalma and heal her, and also beat up Jolly's medical team. Eventually, more enemies would pop out of the water, to replace defeated Clerics AND attack Tia Dalma/us. Jolly uses all of his normal attacks, but he aims directly at Tia. Tia has a Staff, and she can use all of the attacks, as well as a Corruption- type thing and Dark Thunderbolt. The battle ends when either Tia or Jolly is defeated. If we win, we get a 5000 rep reward, plus 300 rep for every enemy defeated.

During the invasion, Jolly will call some new critters.

Smoking Stumps ( Lvl. 40-56 )

These are stumps that can only use a spell eerily similar to flaming skull. It does around 300 damage, and hits all enemies in a straight line.

Ever Huger Alligator ( Level 34-41 )

Same as an huge alligator only bigger.

Undead Mage ( Level 34-47 )

They use all of the doll skills, including a skill called Hex Drain. It drains the voodoo of one target, AND has a grave shackle effect until ALL voodoo is drained.

Lastly, when Jolly is about to die...

Mrs. Roger ( Level 99 )

She slowly walks up the beach, yelling " Jolly! Stop invading Cuba and come wash the dishes! "

She does 1000 damage to anyone who stands in her way, and when she reaches Jolly she whacks him with a frying pan. Once he dies, she drags him back to the beach and beneath the waves.

What do you guys think? ( Mrs. Roger is just for humor. )

angel 4ever 08-15-2010 03:12 AM

haha ya mrs. roger is super funny hahaha but awesome ideas guys

MacIronhawk 08-15-2010 05:01 AM

I'd like to see some enemies that hold staffs. There aren't any in the game, and I think it'd be nice to have some high level enemies with this ability.

I'd also like to see Dutch and American enemies, just to expand the game a bit. I feel so confined in the POTCO world, it just needs to be bigger, and increasing the area for American soil would be neat, in my opinion, and could introduce the game to a huge amount of new enemies.

I'd also like to see more stumps, such as a rotting stump, or something to that affect.

And what about the good old scary undead, with two heads, and skeleton arms sticking out of their backs? This may seem odd, but I'd like to see an area where Jolly Roger makes undead specifically, and in the process some of them get a bit... messed up in the process?

Jolly, "Im sorry honey! Im sorry! Jolly loves ye! OW!"

Maybe this was already posted, but how about Ancient Undead? This could be a whole new undead class, like they have French and Spanish, lets add Ancient. Here are some examples.

Ancient Undead Tribesmen: Lv 20-25, uses a spear
Ancient Undead Shaman: Lv 30-40, uses staff
Ancient Undead Warrior: Uses cutlass, pirate blade to be exact. Lv 35-40
Ancient Undead Gladiator: Lv 40-50, uses a broadsword. It has all the attack moves, and extra health, because it is wearing all this gladiator armor.

Of course, I would want more Ancient Undead, just giving some examples
