Uh oh! Invincibility glitches!
 

I know of two invincibility glitches. They are wrong and I've seen people do them. You may know of the Kingshead glitch, but that has been fixed. Two glitches allow you to go ANYWHERE in the caribbean, besides indoors!

Ship Glitch:

TP off a ship immediately before it sinks. Never tried it but I heard it works.

Poker/Blackjack Glitch:

Right when it says you have been caught cheating, leave the table IMMEDIATELY and run out of the tavern...I tried both, poker worked but blackjack didn't.

I know both, poker one doesnt work for me...The ship one does though :)

If they arent usable in SvS or PvP... then theres nothing 'not' fair about them really, id share them if that was the case, may also help to get them fixed. Keeping them quiet, tends to keep them in the game longer.

Whats the point of this thread? Is it to say "ha ha I know something you don't know" or is it to tell us all there are invincibility glitches or is it just bragging that you think you can do something other players can't? Nothing you have said is new to most of us. Both of those glitches are available for your viewing on a well known video site authored by several POF members. Feel free to check the dates so you know how long those glitches have been around.

Both Glitches are already posted here... one just has to read through the forum to find the threads (or use search - it may make it faster ;) )

Not sure if poker/blackjack still works but i know ship does.

I don't want people overusing them...they're pretty easy to figure out.

I know the a glitch not many people don't know. Before the game was updated there was a glitch called fly glitch. Now when you try to run off your ship, you hit an invincible wall. There's another way to get off the boat.

Making them public (so Disney sees them), and overusing them is the only way to get Disney to address them (this is how the Kingshead glitch finally got fixed), so it would seem to me, you would rather they remain in the game for your own personal use, the reasons you had given, have been offered by countless glitchers trying to protect their findings from the developers.

Im glad you decided to share them, renews my faith in those that say they want the glitchs resolved. Keeping them secret solves nothing.

maybe i am missing something...but what is the point to these glitches?

If it's to level up without the threat of going to jail then doesn't that kinda defeat one of the purposes of the game?

the exact reason i stay quiet i already fixed half the game for them by doing what i do so i retain what i know Zep must be that secret spy who followed me hahaha

Hey, you're the guy that found the glitch right? Was annoying when it was introduced into pvp. Basically ruined the whole point of pvp glitching.

Ship glitch has been fixed on the test server

All invincibility glitches were rooted to when you go to jail, because in your jail cell, nothing could hurt , by simply making it so that when you're in your jail cell, you cannot take out your weapons, proving the glitch to be useless unless you're going through a stroll somewhere. Same thing with the ship invincibility glitch, the Big-D made it so that when you wait for a flag ship, you wouldn't get attacked by any other ships. Now, you can still get your ship sunk while on a flag ship. Although, there are ways around these glitch-fixes. Like there is one I know of with the invincibility glitch, but its not a good idea to post it because it gets over-used, and bye bye glitch! I'm sure those observant enough can figure it out ;).

I always do the ship one when I want to gain xp at Beckett's quarry or kingshead. I never ever ever EVER do it during pvp because that IS cheating and it is absolutely wrong. Whoever does it during PvP is a cheater and should be reported.

Well since you can't tp because your " in jail ", you can't tp to a pvp.

I think he means doing the pvp glitch (staying in pvp while on the main servers) and then doing the invincibility glitch so that you can kill everyone else doing the pvp glitch while taking no damage.

I wouldn't per-say that glitches are bad. If you wanna glitch that is fine. I've done both of those glitches

Neither of these glitches work anymore. They fixed the ship one, and I don't think the Poker/black jack glitch ever worked I've tried it many times and honestly none of the times did it work.

The kingshead glitch was never fixed. Run at the corner where you would usually do then hit f1 and f9 at the same time, just don't hold them down, keep pressing them. Soon you should be in. But if your talking about a different kingshead glitch, never mind. I don't really think disney cares about the glitches that don't help you advance in the game, just the ones like invincibility which effects the game. I'm not even gonna risk it.

i think zep was referring to the invincibility glitch that was rooted to the kingshead jail. which has, i believe been fixed. or i just simply forgot how to pull it off.

also, the point of this thread, as far as i was aware is to share some harmless glitches that other users may find fun when they are sick of leveling.

There is a glitch where, after you get out of svs, you are invincible. You end up with a little eye at the top of your screen, but it only lasts for two minutes.

Why would it only last 2 minutes?

Well it's like when you stun someone it only lasts for a few minutes.
You know how when you are in svs and you get sunk you have a little forcefield around you so you can't get hurt. Thats what it is, but you can not see anything

The Kingshead glitch I had referred to, basically went like this... you would go into the kingshead jail (back area of Kingshead island/fortress). It was always guarded by Mercs and/or Assassins. You would run out of the jail, and ready a weapon striking any of the two guards (merc/assassin) twice, and they would literally run away. Suddenly you would find yourself taking damage from nowhere.. if you let it 'kill' you, you wouldnt go to jail. You could run around invisible to others, and impervious to all attacks from enemies. It basically thought you were in jail the whole time. But attacks/kills had all the regular benefits. Could not TP (your dead).
It is an example of a glitch that really could not be used as an advantage over others (other than being annoying... your invisible). This glitch went unchecked for many months.

However its popularity finally got Big D's attention, and it was fixed.

So it's cheating only in PvP? But using invincibility to gain levels is not cheating? How so?

Since a pirates level is literally only a measure of ones own accomplishments when playing the game, your only cheating yourself and your own game experience by doing so. There is no 'competition' from pirate to pirate outside the scope of PvP or SvS. Since there is no distinction or level of respect or true accomplishment placed on pirate levels by others (basing such things on the pirates level would be an ignorant approach as I know many low level 5th/6th generation pirates there are...), how a pirate goes about it is pretty much up to them. One probably should never judge another pirate based on level. I have a level `10 pirate, I also have 4 level 40+ pirates. To judge me as a level 10 pirate would be a fallacy.

i loved the kh glitch and the flagship glitch. Good Times...

kingshead glitch has not been fixed. i did it like a day ago.
