Hello mates! I'm Mark Bladeflint and I desided to make a newsletter for the POTCO fourms! I have seen on these fourms that there aren't any user made newsletters! So I desided to change that so here is what it will be about, people we are looking for, and more information! Ready? Here we go!


Crew members ( workers )
Here is a list of things you can work for!

1. Story writer ( Someone who will post a story that will go though out the newsletters )

2. Mini story writer ( Someone who will write a new mini story every time )

3. Inteviewer ( Someone that will interview people ) Worker

4. Survay person / news man ( someone who will make a survay and write about whats going on in pirates this time )Worker,

5. Crazy comic man! I rock ( Untill I remember his new name XD ). More are needed!

6. Random news man ( Someone who will make up random, fake news about POTCO ) Worker,

7. News finder ( Someone who will run around the caribbean looking for news )

8. Test person/ Question person/ TIp person ( SOmeone who will post pics of test for ppl who can't go on it. Emails disney about questions people ave and gives tips for each player lvl like lvl 1-15 15-30 30-50 ) Worker Ben Lockshot

9. Co-writer ( They put out the issue of i'm not there. )

Our theme


We will have a new theme each month, but I will be asking people in the future to make up themes! Our first theme will be about Tortuga!

What should the logo have?

I think at some kind of skull thing and somewhere on it say The Black Sail, but you can do whatever you want to it :D.

If I may, I think your logo should have Crossing Quills instead of Bones. After all it is a newsletter. Good luck to you all.

If any of you photoshop guru's could help out that would be great!

I am not a graphic designer at ALL, but here's something I threw together in Keynote. Use it if you want, if not, that's cool too. :)

i should have this job because i may not be on the forums alot, but when i do, i always look at the news and what people are saying

Well to get the newsletter moving I took the job of writing a story that will go though out the newsletter! I will send a PM to every writer telling them what we are going to be doing. Thanks again!:snowfight1:

By stories do you mean news stories or "once upon a time" stories?

By what do you meen? This newsletter will have both real and fake news and some stories. There are soemoen who will do real news for POTC and fake new for POTC but both spots are taken.

P.S Job for an inteviewer has just opened back up!

What I mean is are the stories going to on the journalistic side (both fake and real) or on fictional side (tales). Which 1 & 2 just are "stories".
#3 just gathers info and passes it along.
#4 might be doing what 1 & 2 will be doing.
#5 & 6 are self explanatory.

you know mark in the newsletter ye could post a picture of somthing interesting in the phase files 3 a month or however often you plan on posting the news letter of course you'd need someone with panda 3d (sorry i don't have it) just an idea though

Hmm thats a good idea but I don't want to push something and pirates online crashes XD.


Guess what everyone! A new spot has opend up! If you take it you have to run around the caribbean and ask people questions on what they think on certon stuff. LIke you would walk up to a guy and say ' If you would do a boss battle with the kraken would you? ' Tehn once they say yes or no then run away XD. ALSO! Someone will have to run around the caribbean and see if theres any news goign on liek if JR is invading anywhere etc.

I have access to the phase files, I could do it.

The only issue is I can't update my files because I can't remember how to update them.

EDIT: Updated them, I remembered how to.

Guess what! I'm going to tell everyone the date of when we are going to put out the first newsletter! Here it is! 1/6/10. We still have a little bit to go but we will almost have it out! Also after a few isues I will make a main thread and this thread will just bew about signing up! Have a happy today!
