Character Face Design Messed Up In Update
 

My friends and I have noticed ( we're all have female characters, we haven't seen this happen to a male character yet ) that the female characters' faces look messed up, especially the eyes. We all agreed that it looked like we'd been punched in the face. Has anyone else experienced this with the new update?

I'm not sure, but it could be your graphic settings. But considering multiple friends of yours saw this, it would be best to report.

My friend always has her game on high graphics ( reason why she doesn't do invasions xD ), but all three of us sent feedback on it.

It could also be connected to what your graphic options are (Open GL, DirectX8, DirectX9). But I don't think all of you had it set the same way.

Whoa! I can tell just by the character select screen! What the heck happened to Kat and Sarah? My guys look fine, but dang...

EDIT: Ok, so I logged in and found that, yes, my face is all wrong. It's like they've accentuated eyeliner around the eyes and made them sharper at the corners, made my lips less round, and my nose sharper, but thicker in the middle, as well. However, when I went into the tattoo parlor on Cuba and went to face, it looked like my old face. It seems that Disney is not being consistent with this update, whatever it is.

Yes, a mate of mine experienced the same thing earlier today, so i checked my gals, and they all look like they have been brawling with seabeards.

Aye, same for Molly....I tried to take it to Live Chat but they were jammed. Face paint tat was a optional choice and I would like to keep it that way.

Did your character have plastic surgrey lol. Could be a glitch or yea graphic settings.

It's definitely not a glitch, sorry. I think D redid the faces without telling us. Should I send an email or go on live chat about this?

I actually don't hate the new look. We'll see.. that could change after a little while of playing lol. I'll get back to you on that :)

It may be the fact I never use female pirates.. but it's not that big a difference. Compared to the eye tattoo though, it doesn't appear as thick, although I get the reason for complaints (them changing it unannounced). Hopefully it gets fixed to satisfy those that must deal with it.

Anyway, I reported it on Test, hoping they'd listen like they did with the body types...but I guess not.

I really don't like it, though. My pirates are pale and blonde, and that thick black eyeliner does not look right on them at all. :angry8:

ya the old way looked more intence ( not sure if spelled right sry) and the new look looks softer to me ya know? ya i like the old way alot better my pirate looks weird i guess i got to get used to it lets hope D will change it so the ppl who dont care for it can have it the old way again
