[SPOILERS] Complete Weapons Name List

Here is the complete list of the names of weapons and sea charms that I found in the files. Some of them may not be released yet, or will never be released. It's just to show that they exist!

Help make this list more useful by telling me the rarity [Crude, Rare, Famed, etc] and/or location of the weapon. Also specify if the weapon is sold. This will help us identify which is currently obtainable and which isn't.

As of 9/14/10:

Very nice, the last part needs organizing, but I see we that they have the dual Rusty cutlass's. Even if I got rusty dual cutlasses now, I would take that over any Lost Blade. BTW, what up with spy glasses? Maybe this will be something new added to ships, just hoping it isn't something to see great distances...

It's possible. They even have a new weapon class with knives. I wonder how that's different than daggers.

Almost done reorganizing. I'll make the list easier to read.

PS. I wonder what this El Dorodo guy has to do with POTCO?

Rannulf 07-29-2010 07:46 AM

Wow, just WOW!

I wounder about knives and spyglasses. Lets hope they all hit live!

WOW!:piratetongueor4:

Raikel 07-29-2010 07:48 AM

Nice workj reorganizing, and it looks like there are Earth staves and such. I could see a class of Daggers that are all thrown, and possibly an eye gouge for a replacement to throw dirt. Either way, I wanna be able to control the earth with the Staff, so this could be interesting.

Speedway Master 07-29-2010 07:55 AM

Just finished reorganizing the list. Spoiler tabs were included to shorten the list.

Remember, some of these are unobtainable at the moment, and some may not come out at all.

There's also a list for clothing and potions too, but weapons are more interesting.

You can also help make this list more useful by telling me the rarity [Crude, Rare, Famed, etc] and/or location of the weapon. This will help us identify which is currently obtainable and which isn't.

Off Topic: Also found the names of the fishes. Posted on another thread.

I would be interested in seeing this list.

I like the other Lost Swords, like El Dorado and Calypso. Somehow I doubt those will ever be added though. I like the sound of some of those other things too that have character names in them, like Le Porc's sabre or Avaricia's broadsword. I suppose there won't be any unlimited siege in the near (or probably far) future either. Ah well, sorry mates.

Oh, and as far as El Dorado, have you never heard that story? I can't remember it quite clearly, but he was an explorer of some kind, though I can't recall if he was fictional or non... and I think there was supposed to be the city El Dorado as well...eh, I can't remember. That's what google is for, haha

I wonder if Disney could add different types of Grenade Pouches, for example, a collection of double sized grenades and double the damage. That would be cool

titanic95594 07-29-2010 11:00 AM

Wow I saw in the cutlass area and looks like theres going to be more legendary weapons! I think your going to have to dig in those phase files to see who that El Dorada and Calypso guy could be one of the explorers with El Patron! (maybe)

angel 4ever 07-29-2010 11:18 AM

awesome! this is cool lol and as for El Dorada if i remember it right he was a explorer and found the lost city of gold and then called it El Dorada if i remember right :)

Dog Firestack 07-29-2010 11:53 AM

What I think is interesting is the Calypso weapons. El Dorado translated is actually The Golden One translated into English. I see that the Golden Idols may translate into something with this as a future event.

Also Dual Rusty Cutlasses. HInt of dual wielding I see...

Also what's with the animal idol things? That is kinda weird and hey! a jack the monkey Doll :D

Quetzalcoatl, wonder what in heck's name that is. Also who in the world is Montezuma?

Hopefully this ties into the story quest, if not then :(

Quelzalcoatl was an Aztec god. The last Aztec emperor Monchtezuma believed that Hernando Cortes was Quetz, and this led to the downfall of the Aztec Empire. In the PotC series, Monchtezuma believed Cortes was Quetz, BECAUSE Cortes had a god powered sword, WHICH broke down empires to dust. It was only powerful when the sheath and the sword were together. Also, when Cortes got 882 gold coins of the Aztec as treasure, the gods cursed the treasure itself. Barbossa mutinied against Jack and found the Treasure which led to his crew's curse.

This list is pretty interesting. More Legendary weapons are coming. Spyglasses are included in this list... but what about Boarding Axes, Rapiers, Epees and Scimitars? These weapons are found in the Phase Files. Perhaps they're still in the process of naming them? idk.

Captain luke 07-29-2010 12:38 PM

Hmm..... They are coming out with more weapons. Thats good. If they come out with more weapons, that probably mean the trading system is coming.

Captain luke 07-29-2010 12:47 PM

Man, some of these weapons sound like more legendary weapons, Like jack sparrows blade, or the lost blade of calypso.

Isaiah Ropeswine 07-29-2010 01:34 PM

Maybe there will be a new class.... like Golden. Golden Cutlass... Golden Broadsword.....etc...

O_O Wow Robin. Nice job mate. So it looks like they released about 2/3 of each item, which leads me to believe that the others were trashed. However, for some reason I'm really hoping for that Le Porc Sabre to come out... but I get the feeling it won't be soon.

Captain Del 07-29-2010 04:55 PM

This is amazing! The fact that theres a possibility of all those unreleased weapons coming to the game makes me plunder happy!

Of course, the one I'm most interested about is that cutlass, the Heart of Padres Del Fuego... I don't even know what it does, but I want it already! :D

Crestshot 07-29-2010 04:57 PM

Well Del, being mayor of Padres and all, it would automatically go to you, so I suppose that makes sense, your wanting it and all.... haha

Jamesvsthekraken 07-29-2010 05:22 PM

Wait, it could be a trap like in Aladdin, Don't touch The Heart of Padres Del Fuego, Del! It could be the end of us all! :laughks2:lol jk. Anyway what caught me by surprise was "The Revenge of Jack Sparrow" weapon.:bookishfj7::piratewheelgo2:

Joshua Coalskull 07-29-2010 05:48 PM

Just to let you know, idk if this has been said but El Dorado is a mythical city made entirely of gold.

KeeperOfTheCode 07-29-2010 06:00 PM

Hopefully this ties into the story quest, if not then :(

Quetzalcoatl was an Aztec god, and Montezuma was an Aztec king, and later deified mortal.

P.S. Ignis is Latin for fire, and I don't think I need to translate Maximus.

Great! I'll work on updating the list.

Catherine Ironcutter 07-29-2010 08:09 PM

You guys would have a lot easier time of figuring out who half these people named in the weapons are if you would get an ancient mythology book and an ancient history book. Also, Google is a powerful search tool.

Calypso isn't an explorer. Don't you remember the Pirates movies with Tia Dalma having been "restrained to human form" or something like that? Calypso is the sea goddess, typically portrayed as a type of sea nymph.

I'm glad you know that. She caused no end of strife with her good looks. Got a poor river god killed by ol' Polyphemus, which is weird since gods can't die... :laughks2:

Also Dual Rusty Cutlasses. HInt of dual wielding I see...

Also what's with the animal idol things? That is kinda weird and hey! a jack the monkey Doll :D

Quetzalcoatl, wonder what in heck's name that is. Also who in the world is Montezuma?

Hopefully this ties into the story quest, if not then :(

Do remember mate, this ould also be a list of certain weapons that enemies are holding. Though I would love to Dual Weild, it may not be on the horizon.

Speedway Master 07-29-2010 08:45 PM

Note that according to the files, throwing knives are supposed to recharge throwing skills faster! The descriptions of the weapons are also listed here, but it'll take me forever to pair them up with the right weapons.

Robin Yerloot 07-29-2010 10:26 PM

Speedway Master, when the daggers come out I'll have a complete (for the most part) list of the Dolls, I'll let you know if any further devlopements are made with the Dolls and work on the daggers and they are slowly discovered.

Maybe the developers are trying to add a taste of reality into the upcoming events? Veracruz, Portabello, and Maracaibo were thriving and well fortified city ports during the Golden Age of the Spanish Main. Any pirate looking to make his fortune and reputation would have hunted just like Francis Drake and Henry Morgan - for the heavily laden troves awaiting transport. Mayan, Incan, and Aztec gold weighed down galleons from these places - and tempted many pirates to their demise. What if the new 'islands' were just ports in the form of treasure maps? The possibilities are endless...........

Quetzecotl is (if I remember correctly) the center of the Aztec culture, and Montezuma was their great King.

All I can say is.... That is alot of weapons...! If those new weapons ever come out, will we have room for them? Decisions, decisions.....

CarribeanThunder 07-30-2010 05:06 AM

Not sure if this has already been posted, but I do believe the "Knives" are not their own type of weapons - they sound more like additional throwing dagger ammo sets - like the ones we already have ( Which coincidentally are all named after snakes - The Asp, Puff Adder, Sidewinder and Viper ).

The Dual Rusty Cutlass sounds very fun...
El Dorodo sounds like our next legendary person along with El Patron...
It seems soon we'll be robbing Jack Sparrow's weapons...
The Spyglasses sound more like accuracy boosters, but most likely not.

I believe they ARE their own type of weapons, since they're listed under the weapons list. It allows faster recharge times on throwing skills.

Where will we have to be going in the OLD and NEW worlds... hmm

This is based on Europe history, old world meant Europe, new world meant America. When Eroupians discovered North America, it was a land they didn't know before, so it was named "new world" just like they called china "the far east" because it was east of Europe.

A about lost world i don't know what that is.. but Europiens were very supersticious.

Buut there was like 50 knives... then we would get 50 new dagger skills? If POTCO made that for us i would be really happy lol, getting tired of the old 5 dagger skills.

ruisen2000 07-30-2010 02:26 PM

A lot of the weapons listed belong to imcomplete weapon groups on the wiki and would help the wiki a lot... but the wiki seems to always miss very important info.. lol

My favorite repeater is the wicked repeater....

CarribeanThunder 07-31-2010 12:46 AM

The one thing that also interests me is this "Heart Of Padres Del Fuego." It's the only weapon on the Cutlass list ( That I payed attention to ) that doesn't have "Cutlass" or "Blade" in it's name.

This weapon sounds like it'll get lots of attention like the Lost Sword we currently have...

ruisen2000 07-31-2010 05:13 AM

El Dorodo is probably the chief (leader) of the new clan potco mentioned that made the daggers.
Also Orangutan repeater is a released weapon, some pirates have already found it.
I believe all these events you guys mentioned happened centuries before the pirate age, POTCO should change their motto from "Play as a pirate online, for free!" To "learn history online, for free!"

Rannulf 07-31-2010 08:09 AM

I just looked at the dagger list again. None of these names are Arab in origin as hinted at by the latest Disney teaser. More may be released with these being released as a whole.

I believe the teaser said the Near East. Someone just mentioned the middle east and it got stuck in all of your minds. Disney said nothing about the middle east!

El Dorado is a city of gold, not a person.

El Dorado was also a South American tribal chief that the Spanish called "The Golden One".

During this historical period the near east (and sometimes now by Europeans) was how the area we now call the middle east was referenced too. I used the generic term arab in my own reference.

The far east during this historical period is now referenced to as Asia by most people.

Mate I have studied history for the past 25 years. I have taught it for a while as well. I am fully aware of what is what. I choose not to try to teach history here.

This is a fan forum for a fantasy game loosely based on the golden age of piracy. So if you wish to have a discussion on the finer points of history and the terminology relating to it, lets do so in private messaging.

Yep, we found this out in Pirates of the Cribbean: At World's End. So Calypso's Radiance should be one tough doll if it ever gets released, and I can imagine the Lost Blade of Calypso would have some seirous Voodoo Damage abilities on it.

Stronger. El Patron's Sword was just cursed by him, a mere mortal. Lost Blade Of Calypso would have been blessed by a goddess. See a little difference there?

ruisen2000 08-02-2010 04:20 AM

There is also a lost sword of el dorodo in the cutlass section.. I can see Disney is working on some legendary stuff.. Hope I can get my hands on some of them.. ah.. empty words from me, can't even get el patron sword yet..

El Dorado wouldn't be especially powerful, but it might slow/freeze your enemies temporarily by turning them to gold. Not likely, but it's always fun to speculate.

stpehen 08-03-2010 10:11 PM

maybe a new ability called... gold strike?
each time it hits an enemy they turn into gold, doubling the damage?
or gold shield?

Jamesvsthekraken 08-03-2010 11:42 PM

How about it gives you triple gold all the time like when you defeat enemies? :) :/:bookishfj7::piratewheelgo2:

Why not call it the "Midas Touch?" :D

Personally, I think these weapons sound interesting - when they show up, I MIGHT go searching for them, but that depends on whether or not I get a Tiger Shark Blade or a Black Shark Blade by then.

2Cool 08-04-2010 12:49 PM

The Pistol named Jack Sparrow's Revenge is the most interesting to me. Why did Jack want revenge and on who? Then I remembered the 1st movie, The Black Pearl. Barbossa stranded Jack on Rumrunner's with only what? A pistol with one shot. Ignis Maximus
Heart of Padres del Fuego
Lost Blade of Calypso
Lost Sword of El Dorado
Jack Sparrow's Revenge
These are the weapons I want.

Robin Yerloot 08-05-2010 03:01 PM

Knives

I just found that the Knives are on TEST, they give boosts to Throwing Knives and you basically use one of the knives as a dagger, so they act like a dagger but with sepcial boosts to sepcific throwing knives, I guess they make the knives more powerful because not all them have boosts to throwing knives specifily. Thought I'd clear that up!

An Example
Name: Scallywag's Knives
Attack: 12
Abilities: Not in the Face!, Throw Dirt +1

so no throwing knife boost but they might just simply make them more powerful.

Knives have their own combo. A full 4 technique combo is knife throw, left hand throw, double throw and then twin backhand just like a regular combo. They have separate moves, plus ALL KNIVES increase recharge throwing abilities. It's like a dagger but weaker, but long range.

Bringing Midas into the equation would be just annoying if you ask me. Calypso was from Greek mythology, and overall, I think we should leave it at that. No need for more myths from the Old World.

No Calypso is not the only one from Greek mythology. Poseidon's Trident was battled for in the Jack Sparrow prequels (which you have read), and the entire significance of the Dutchman guiding souls to the other world is based on Charon. In the At World's End game, there is a level in the Locker where Jack has to go into a Lava chasm and fight off demonic creatures to save Gentleman Jocard. This has something to do with Hades. In fact I think that "the other world" refers to Hades' realm, though I'm not sure

Back on topic... Has the weapons list been updated with the release of the latest update on test? If it has, can you check on it, Speedway Master?

No staff has an attack that high.. I'll believe it if I see screens though.

Sorry mate, I'm positive that no staff exists as of yet. Maybe when they release new staffs there will be, but he is messing with you. Im pretty sure if there was that staff there would be people bragging about it all over abassa.

Malderiere 08-21-2010 02:15 AM

That was me first relic! I dont use it much anymore, but its still probably one of the best repeater pistols. I think I got that from Timmy Dartan.

Another great weapon is the Master Crafted Repeater Pistol. It isn't as powerful as the skullbone repeater, but it has an ability.

I don't see what we could use the "sea glasses" for unless we use them to see the other islands but that would mean they would have to "expand" the world or make it so it takes longer to get to each island.:bookishfj7::piratewheelgo2:
