My only guess is that he's there to test if he's ready for the full environment of the game. They'll probably place him in Raven's Cove later, rather than opening up Raven's cove and THEN placing him in. He'll probably be gone soon, just like the skeleton blackjack players. However, that doesn't explain why they added the entire building next to him either.

Yeah, that's supposed to be the Skeleton Poker bouncer in Ravens Cove. He won't let you in, and you'll need to show him a charm or something so you can get in and play poker with the skeletons.

I'm gonna go on test and see if he says anything.

your link is invalid... but if it was a picture of the Skeleton Poker Bouncer, he's been there ever since the fishing update. I have a screen shot of him dated Aug. 4th.

Oh, it took me a while to figure out his name.

Basically, he's a skeleton. And you know at parties they have things called "bouncers"? They're like the big guards that only let certain people in. He's guarding the Skeleton Poker game, only letting in the worthy.

That's my guess :D

Notice how he is not undead but in the Pirate vs Pirate Uniform....

The PvP form is undead..

But it is not a skeleton, it is a PvP pirate.

They probably did that because it would make more sense than having a Gravedigger (or something else) as an NPC. Plus, the PvP pirate is undead, and a skeleton, so it doesn't make a difference.

Is he still there?

I believe so. He was there when I last checked a few nights ago. Although for me he was human and not skelli. It would be interesting if the cove made you skelli when you arrived though.

I just went to look, it is still there. He says the same stuff all the other NPC's say... but I love it when he says something about the new Island giving him the Willies!!! He cowers in fear.

I think he's a citizen/NPC who is getting ready for Halloween. lol:laughks2: jk Actually, I think he's part of Raven's Cove. :) :bookishfj7::piratewheelgo2:

Yay I joined the Helm now! The Skeleton Poker Bouncer takes the form of the PvP pirate.. In the Phase Files this form is known s "Zombie"... It's still Undead.

If you do a pvp you'll notice that they count as monsters when using a gun with steel shot or silver shot.
