New updates are now available on the Test Server. The Fish Masters are getting anxious to open their shops and we know how much Pirates have been waiting to cast off! Please help test some of the following fixes and show us how much of a "reel" expert you are.


- Players no longer crash when logging out with a weapon equipped
- NPC ships once again can attack player ships that are within range of them
- Weapons now deal correct amount of damage in Pirate vs. Pirate
- Corrected Passive Skills, such as Parry and Dodge
- Veterans can now be booted directly from Guilds
- All Players with Test Server Access should be able should be able to login to the Test Servers

They normally post this when they're close to releasing an update. It's not always the case, but still.

This is news is basically saying, "We want to put this on Open ASAP. If your a tester, go on test and report like crazy so we can fix all the glitches that are left!"

Indeed. They want Testers to step it up a bit and help them fix it before it goes Live. I couldn't agree more with Del's post!

at least all testers can test now. that's good!

I'm ready to have an oficially mastered pirate, that means I want going to be the first one to have potions, weapons, fishing, notoriety, and sailing skills mastered!

As soon as I get some time, Ill be on my test pirate. Ill try to find some bugs, and help squish them. The reason they needed to make this in the news is cuz they are desperate to get it out on live.

It should. Doesn't mean it will be.... sigh, I was really hoping to be catching some fish this weekend... Now lets all cross our fingers and hope for this week. Anyone else notice that this update is going on its fourth week? Nothing has ever needed testing this long! Im really surprised by the amount of bugs in this update. I understand they want to fix all the bugs and such, but this is really taking a long time... to tell the truth, I wouldnt mind a few little bugs coming out with this update, as long as its not serious stuff like crashes. But Ill be patient....

seems like they're starting to rush the testers. The testers are pretty slow...
they should just release the new updates on live already since all the major problems should already by solved, the minor problems would be reported by the open server players, and since there's so much open server players, finding all these remaining hard to find bugs would be a lot faster.

But las week it seems like they didnt really have a maintanaice, except thursday. So I theres a posibility that its not going on live this week. Maybe Laber Day

You can't blame the Testers for anything.. we're not the ones fixing anything, we're making Disney aware of them.

As for putting it on Live and making them find the rest of the bugs, that should never happen. Sure, the update is almost done, but those little bugs can be a big problem on Live. Plus, the point of Live is to play, Test is to.. test.

Test got probably the LAST update for now.

lol I dont mind a little bugs with games, they can fix them slowly like the caves, there were lots of bugs when it was first out, but eventually everything worked fine.
Unless it's a mahor issue, otherwise I dont see why a little bugs can't wait.. me want to go fishing!

Hey no were not we found all the bugs disney apperantly thinks there bugs but theres not so dont go saying things u dont know about test even if we say no bugs for a wekk they make the decisions every time we get booted by bugs or all out boot we repot it so no were not slow there really is no bugs left

Just because you think theres no bugs left, doesn't mean others might have reported some that still remain.

Honestly, I want a glitch-free game. That's all I want. I know it's impossible, so we have to get to the next best thing, and prevent any more glitches from showing up.

Think about it. We let 5 bugs in in this update. Then 6 in the next. Then 5, then 7, then 10, etc. etc. etc. These bugs begin to build up, and sooner or later, we''ll end up having a messed up game.

There is no need to do reporting when you log on to Open, because Open is where you play. Test is where you report, because Test is, basically, a Test. And we can't fail the test, can we?

I say that there are still bugs. I get booted every time I pull an Angler, Lump fish, or Mega-mouth fish out of the water. I have talked to other testers running the same OS as me and it is not happening to all of them but maybe it's something with the combo of my OS and Graphics and etc. Who knows. Not all of us will have the same bugs, and no they probably can't catch everything when it comes to different hardware setups. Maybe there are problems with some of the rare daggers that only a few people have gotten so far. Keep in mind that there is more to this update then just fishing. We will all know when the update is ready for live because it will go live. Until such a time, I will continue to send in my bug reports and hope they get fixed before it hits open.

There was an update? Doesnt say in my test release notes.... maybe they just havent posted it yet.

Someone mentioned that they fixed the graphic issue on tormenta.

I dont think it will let you log in... they have to active a test server account. It will probably just say that the username or password is incorrect

Some accounts are able to log onto test with Basic or Unlimited due to the fact D never fixed a cleanup bug where they let everybody on test one day.

I was unlimited. I had Test server access, and being basic now I can use Test

Yes, the grenade-throwing spineskulls look semi-normal now.

Wait a minute, HOPEFULLY they'll call me in, seeing as I signed up a year and a half ago... or not, that's not really Disneys strong point. I don't see why they don't invite testers all the time, the more testers the quicker the bugs are fixed, right?

I think Disney has a waiting obsession. They get their kicks from making their customers wait. Maybe everything is/has been done for months and they just like to play with us. haha :D jk

First of all Disney should get more people to work on it but thats just me. If they had more people bugs would be out quicker. But each new update is just a distraction for better ones.

I personally dont really care much about the update, And Disney doesnt need more people to work, most of the potco money they get from subscribers end up going to Disney channel.

I personally dont like that it prob goes to Disney channel i mean seriously.
