Has anyone caught Legendary Fish yet? Actually probably a lot of people have, do you guys have any tips or where you went to catch them? Also can you post pics of them so I could see? Thanks

I caught Speedy Lou last night, As far as tips on where to catch them they seem to randomly appear all over the map at random times.

What there now fishing! And my potco doesnt work now ahhhh

Well I've seen all the legendary fishes in the sea but I've had trouble catching Fire Dragon & Mossy Moses. but I was lucky to Catch Speedy Lou (More that 7 times) and Glittering Girl (2 times) and I Just caught Fogbell . :dancetl6:

^I got a screen-shot when Fire Dragon first appeared ,but I didn't take one with Mossy :degen:

but if you need my advice you have to be Patient a little Just throw the lure as far as you can but of course you have to have the Legendary Lure which means you have to Master fishing to get it, anyway after you throw the lure you have to get it at the very bottom of the sea and keep it there, and keep scaring away any fishes that can get the lure, maybe you will need 10 minutes until a legendary fish comes but I'm not sure, when a legendary fish get near you will notice that all the fishes on the screen will swim away and the Fish will finally appear on the screen alone in the sea. and then it will tell you to click as fast as you can to keep him from getting away, and then you have to reel it in doing that you have to move the mouse in circles, do it repeatedly until you catch it but sometimes you have to catch the reel when it spins out of control by just clicking on the circle that's spinning . by that you caught a Legendary Fish !! :dancetl6:

Sigh... I have tried for one, and I may never again. I mastered fishing on a pirate just last night. A guildmate walked me through how to catch a legendary fish. With a legendary lure cast when the bar is as far up as it can be. Sink the lure immediately. When it's fully charged sink it again. If you're lucky another fish hasn't tried for and or taken your lure and your depth is over 100 feet. If not, cast again cause it's not gonna work. (Though I had one past 105 once an nothing happened.) It will take you to a cutscene. You see a legendary fish and a health bar. Example mine was a Mossy Moses, 100 heath. When it sees the line click as fast as your hand can take it. Every click takes him down just one health point. A timer pops up on what looks like a speed gauge in a car, down on the bottom left of your screen. When it counts down a reel appears. You click on the circling handle, then that disappears and the timer appears again. If you don't click fast enough the fish steals your lure. If it doesn't you just keep doing that till, if you're very very lucky, you catch the fish.

I have lost two today but managed to get screenshots of lady glitter, what i have noticed, is there is a sound of a echo sounder in the back ground and it get louder and faster as they gets close then all fish scatter, and then the screen changes to the shot below and then to the reel

So far i've only caught glittering girl and speedy lou. i encountered the fogbell, but he beat me in like the first 10 seconds. here are some screenies i took.

the first legendary i saw was mossy but i didnt know what to do when i was trying to fish him out lol

The key to Mossy is to survive long enough for him to wear himself out. Don't expect a lot of reeling until he does.

ok is it true you have to be over 100 inches or meters or whatever it is to catch the legendary fish? or do you just have to just wait?

I have a tip for the struggle part. If you are using a laptop, and you are doing the struggle (where you have to click as fast as you can) click both your mouse AND your track-pad. Double the clicks in the same time. It helped a lot when I was helping my brother catch Mossy Moses.

You do not need to be over 100 meters, feet, whatever the unit of measure is. I have had them come as short as 80. Sometimes patience wins out and sometimes you just need to recast. I will usually keep my lure on the bottom until 75 or 80 before I pull it up.

Well, there have been times a Legendary would show up on the first cast off. Then there was times it would be 10 to 15 minutes and several cast offs.

I guess in the end, it all depends on how patient you are.

I caught Speedy Lou three times, Fogbell once, and Glittering Girl once tonight.

Also hooked Fire Dragon but lost him, he's by far the toughest one to catch of the four i've hooked.

Today on a different pirate I caught Mossy Moses, Speedy Lou, and Fogbell, I hooked Firedragon and lost him.

Can someone confirm which fish is the last spot (bottom right) of the chart on the treasure page? That's the only one I am missing and I have no idea what I am looking for.

Haven't mastered yet - but hope to do so in the next day or three.

And, if you have any tips on where to look for the fish I am missing it will be most appreciated.

I have been trying for two days now and have not so much as seen a legendary fish. I have mastered fishing plus followed the advice of others on how to do it. My lure will sit and sit although sometimes I pull on it a couple of times to keep it from automatically getting reeled in by the game.

That fish is Mega Mouth.

A bit tougher to find than most others, the Ocean Eye skill helps when locating him.

I have been searching the forums and the net and have a split answer of weather or not the location you fish from as long as it is from the fishing boat does not chance what legendary fish you catch.

Can anyone either tell me with some backing on if this is true or not? Would be really appreciated. I have been fishing outside padres del fuego for like 4 days now and havnt so much as seen the fire fish, I cast out way past the 100 mark and let it sit for atleast 5 minutes before I recast and repeat not letting any other fish touch the legendary hook.

Anyway, I really think that legendary fish's locations, and normal fishes' for that matter, are totally random. All about being in the right place at the right time.

Thanks for the pic Muffin! Now that I know what I am looking for I might actually catch one! It looks like a cross between a dragon fish, and a black chimera.

Saw my first legendary fishies today...Speedy Lou and Glittering Girl. HOLY CATS...I got to the part where I have to click the reel and apparently I'm not good enough at reel clicking because I've lost them both. =( Interesting though...quite a change from the regular fishing, that's for sure!

Different Legendaries have different difficulties in the Struggle, Reel and Catch portions of the fight. For example, Speedy Lou is fast to escape when you reach the Catch portion, and the handle will spin very fast. Mossy Moses doesn't escape that fast, but it takes a while to Reel him in. Fire Dragon is nuts. Its Struggle portion takes forever to complete, but it'll take a while for it to escape too.

The bar on the top of the screen measures the Legendary Fish's stamina. As time passes, its stamina goes down. This makes all the portions of the battle easier to do. Patience is really the key.

Wow, this is just so evil I have to share it. I was fishing today, and I had my lure down about 101 feet. Then, the screen narrows as if going into a cutscene. A legendary!!! I had no clue which one it was. So as soon as I am about to type "legendary!" my laptop overheats. I felt like crying because it was so unfair.

I HATE YOU LAPTOP!!!! :'(

I couldnt do the struggle part and i had to keep him from escaping my line until the little meter on top went to 5!

I caught Mossy a couple months ago near Cutthroat. He's tough to reel in but not as tough as the legendary Fire Dragon.

I found Fogbell 3 times in a row so i think they not random but have cycles. I have a great glitch (well i think its a glitch) if ur searching for legendary fish. You have to have 10 regular lures and be over lv 15. If you bring the sharks, coelacanths, etc., up to the surface then let them take your lure, they will stay on the surface! Side effect: sharks eat the small fish. Hope this helps! P.S. Make sure your using regular lures to bring them to the surface! :th_shark:

IK i just caught him it took me 5 minutes plus its 10:30 at night lol! i couldnt get the struggle until i finally told myself that its just clicking lol!!!!

I've caught a lot of legendary fish and occasionally i'll get a rare weapon or something, never gotten a famed weapon.

I have heard of people getting famed from Legendaries... In fact, I think a guildmate of mine MIGHT have gotten one.. Idk

Encountered Fire Dragon today.... and I pulled a muscle in my arm trying to win the struggle.
He is harder than Mossy and Fogbell combined.

i caught mossy AND fogbell.......
yet i sigh in igony when i get firedragon...

I still haven't seen any at all! How unfair....

I've found all but the fire dragon within the past 2 days. Only fish that gave me trouble was Mossy Moses during the struggle, and that was easy to solve with mousekeys.

I just found fire dragon on test. I was ready that time. I actually won the struggle one-handed. Then I started lagging and missed the catch on the reel part and he got away..... I would of had him too! if it werent for that stupid lag :(

Gotta love the lag! I am gonna start trying to look for them again....

I found Mossy, Fogbell, and Glitter all in the same place today. In 20 min of each other....... I was in the Padres Triangle. The small triangle between Padres, Kingshead, and Cutthroat. My bro took me there yesterday and we both found fire dragon. Twice. That was where I lost him bc of lag. Now all i need is fire dragon to finish collection.....
Speedy Lou: $700 Glitter Girl: $1000 Fogbell: $1000 Mossy Moses: $1500 Fire Dragon: $2000-3000

I just got mossy Moses and found famed bejeweled cutlass after I read the part that said "it has all the treasure the pirate will ever see" :laughks2:

Man fire dragon is impossible... clicked as fast as I could and the bar kept going down.... :sadmh9: Even using both my hands to click didnt work! After I lost fire dragon, when I casted my line again, instantly another legendary fish came along! Interestingly, clicking at the same speed, I got glittering girl in like a few seconds, but only found a crude cutlass :sadmh9:

My brother got Fire Dragon. He was using a laptop at the time, so I rush over to help him. We click on the attached mouse AND the track pad and we still lose him miserably. Fire Dragon is a tough fish.

I'm really good at these legendary fish.. if they'd let me i'd feed them to pull my war frigate 0_0

I've heard its random. i mean fish wouldn't limit them selves to one spot would they? what you do is keep fishing in one spot, and it comes.

I know that... I mean like in general, I have heard that Mossy Moses can usually be spotted in between Devil's Anvil and Tortuga, etc.

Yes, but any legendry fish can be found in any place in the ocean. As you enter fishing, a new game loads up, so basicly, no matter where in the sea you are, that same game loads up, and is basicly the same. Depends on luck I guess, sometimes they show up in 5 minutes, sometimes 10 seconds, sometimes an hour.

This may just be coincidence but I have traveled through the hinter seas into uncharted waters (between Kingshead side of Padres) and I have caught 4 Speedy Lou's there.

lol I went fishing today, and 3 legendary fish (2 fogbell, 1 speedy lou) appeared in the first half an hour.

I've caught 4 so far...Glittering Girl was my first...caught it weeks ago...then a few days ago caught Speedy Lou...

Now today while fishing between Tor and DA, I caught Mossy Moses and half hour later while fishing in the Padres Triangle I just now caught Fogbell...bringing both in wasn't too hard at all...all I did was come time to click remove my right hand and click with the left hand...once on each fish I had to click the reel to keep the fishes from pulling line out...once worn down, the clicking is much easier...

I finally did it...... I caught Fire Dragon. The hardest legendary fish, I guarantee it.
Catching Fire Dragon completed my entire fish collection, legendary or otherwise.
Found him in the padres triangle, night, ocean floor. Make a pocket then stay in it.

you might have to wait a while in fishing. Just fish like you always do, but using a legendary lure. They appear (for me) anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour.

I went ballistic on the left click button :laughks2: the trick is u gotta beat him on the struggle othewise it will automatically go to catch on reel and he will get away. If you have a laptop with a keypad its a lot easier to reel faster tho. That is also very important,

I have never had to wear out a fish, not even fire dragon, though he sure wore me out...

Well.... after a LONG time. I finally caught a Legendary Fish! Mossy Moses! I was so excited! I'll post screenshots later. :D

I caught some legendary and not at lvl 20 fishing-weird...and when i reached lvl 20, it said i can now catch legendary fish!
Anyway, i have some tips. Remember, always change to legendary lures when you quit and enter fishing. Always check that you're using one! And if you're hunting for legendary fish, it's good to sail to another ocean or try to catch normal fish. I wanted to catch normal fish for rep and i kept catching legendary accidently! Fishing is a good way to lvl your pirate, it's not as special as leveling up with weapons or something else though... Fishing and getting a lot of rep is only good by catching fish with a good rod that goes deep! Goodluck! :)

Ya, that's pretty hard to do considering that you get Legendary Lures at level 16.

Well not really, it USED to be that way, and it wasn't level 16 it was level 20. Now, since they added the new shopping systems, u can basically buy anything u wanted at any lv, including legendary lures. I have a basic account that has 3/5 legendary fish caught at only lv 7 fishing.

That is really dumb then. Not saying you "cheated" or anything, I'm saying it is dumb on Disney's part. They really shouldn't do that. I say change it back.

I can catch Speedy Lou in 30 seconds on a good day but I've only ever caught Fire Dragon once out of at least 10 times I've faced him. Glitter Girl: 45 seconds
Fogbell: 1 minute - 1 minute and 30 seconds
Mossy Moses: 1 minutes 45 seconds - 2 minutes and 15 seconds.
Fire Dragon: 5 minutes

Took me 10 seconds to catch Speedy Lou. I had to struggle, then reel, then struggle, then wheel.... then I caught him.

i saw 3 legendary yesterday but i failed on each of them glittering girl and speedy i saw glitter twice and she was also the first i have seen
