What Weapons Would you like to see?
 

So, this is basically a fun little build-a-weapon thread, you can post ideas for weapons, weapon skills, new weapon types ect.

My Idea:
I think it would be really cool to bring in Greek Mythology (Being Calypso is already a big part of the game)

A story behiend it could be Blacksmiths, Sailors and Gypsies discovered a treasure trove of mystical materials on a sunken Greek Warship on the edge of the map, they used these to create weapons with God-Like powers.

Swords
Zeus's Thunderblade - Cutlass
Lightning Strike - Surges lightning into enemies, causing damage over time.
Zeus's Fist (Break Attack) - Strikes all enemies arround you with a powerful lightningbolt.
Blade Storm Boost +3

Athena's Sabre - Sabre
Athena's Wisdom (Weapon Skill) - You know where enemis will strike! Allows you to parry all attacks for a short time.
Parry Boost +3

Hephaestus's Broadsword
Forger's Flame (Break Attack) - A pillar of fire! Burns all enemies arround you and causes damage.
Fire Immunity

Dolls
Aphrodite Doll - Spirit Doll
True Love (Weapon Skill) - Slowly renerates the health of you and others as long as they are attuned!
Cure Boost +3
Life Drain Boost +1

Apollo Doll - Mojo Doll
Lyre Tune (Weapon Skill) - A magical song that makes enemies stop attacking for a short time!
Curse Boost +2
Grave Shackles +3

Ares Doll - Bane Doll
Spirit Army (Weapon Skill) - Gives you the power of those fallen in war, increases attack and decreases the damage suffered.
Poke Boost +2
Swarm Boost +3

Hermes's Dagger
Lethal Stab (Defense Skill) - A powerful strike to an enemy that attacks you first.
Theif Treasure - Slightly increases a chance for a loot drop!
Eviscrete Boost +2
Gouge Boost +2

Artemis's Knives - Throiwng Knives
Hunter's Stealth - Increases range of throwing knives!
Quick Kill - A powerful distance strike!
Viper's Nest Boost +2
Double Back Hand Throw +2

Demeter's Staff - Nautre Staff
Nature's Mending - Fully heals all nearby pirates!
Conservation +2
Spirit Lore +2

Hera's Staff - Warding Staff
Hera's Grace - Makes all nearby pirates invincible for a short time!

Hades's Staff - Death Staff
Death Sentance (Break Attack) - Does extreme damage to living enemies!
Desolation Boost +2
Banish Boost +3

Probably not. After all, these are all just common figures of Greek mythology.

Love your ideas, Robin. I usually have an overactive imagination at all points, but I'm presently too exhausted to come up with anything at moment. If anything comes up, I'll be sure to post it ;)

Love all of them, I like the grape shot boost for dyonisus's cannon ram, almost comical. The Zeus's Broadsword was a nice touch, but could you remind me what Hera and Demeter where the gods of? :) thx

What if each god had their own series of weapons? instead of just one, they each have 9, one for each main weapon type? That is including cannon rams, sea charts, and charms.

Mate, ye be reading too much Greek Mythology xD. They sound like pretty cool weapons.

Hera is the goddess of heaven, family, marrige, women, kings, heirs and empires. Demeter was te goddess of fratility, agriculture, horticulture, grain and harvest.

And that's an interesting idea, haha. and I had no clue what to do for Dyonisus, so I just figured Wine = Grapes = Grape Shot, there we go :p.

Titan Power, Rank 3- Summon the power of the titans, doing double damage on all your attacks for 15 seconds!

Pretty nice weapons, no? I just used Wikipedia for some awesome lists of Gods and Titans. You should come up with something using Hestia, though.

Earth Bind: The ground beneath the enemy comes up and binds them, dealing 400-800 damage. Snare effect for 10 seconds.

Hestia, hestia... Hestia is hard! She's really not involved in the mythology really. She hated war. But here's a try....

She's also married to Hades, the god of soul ripping. I think she also secretly likes to rip soulds.

She was married to Hades... against her will... and he is the god of the Underworld, not soul ripping!

I know all about greek mythology. So you know, Hestia is goddess of the hearth. Maybe a fire related attack would be good.
