Within 36-hours, the second phase of the Beta test will come to a
close. But don't let that get you down - the close of Beta means the
official launch is here!

Thank you for all of your valuable feedback and for helping make
Pirates Online a world-class gaming experience.

We're sure you are wondering what will happen to the pirate avatars
you created during the Beta test... While you will not be able to
take them into the live game with you, you will be able to play with
these avatars on the Test Server. We have already flagged your
account for access to the Test Server - you will be the first to
experience all the upcoming game content for Pirates Online.

Over the next 36-hours, the launcher you have been using to play
Pirates Online during the Beta test will be unavailable in
preparation for the game's full release. However, you can still
play alongside your fellow Beta players by downloading the launcher
for the Test Server now.

Downloading now. Hmm so no more beta :( Kinda sad lol. I hope the launch goes well. I guess that's happening in 36 hours?

But..But... my pirate has a frigate and everything...

Is it just me or is this game not seeming NEARLY ready?!?

well beta was fun! hope the 36 hour period goes fast!

All beta characters have been moved to the test server. You automatically have an account there if you were in beta. Just use your normal login info to gain access once you've downloaded the test server software.


We'll be making several changes to the forums soon. Please, stand by while we make adjustments to the forum. The Helm will be the new tester's forum since all beta players have test accounts. We'll probably be archiving and moving threads as well.

Alright. Hmm, I didn't really see this coming. But, I guess it is running pretty good now.

Keep us updated on anything new on the test server. I'll probably be joining soon...maybe ;)

this is really sad news because this game isn't ready... still too many bugs that are being ignored and lots of other problems, unless disney plan to keep updating the game while we continue testing on the test servers this could be a bad end to a great game...

a lot(did you notice the heavy tence i put on lot?) of bugs still on there and a lot(did you notice it again?) of lag still and oh never mind...i don't think the game is ready and i have another question...will we be able to keep unlimited access on the test launcher like we have now or not?

Well I logged in to see if they fixed my tasks bugs, and they didn't. I still can't play blackjack on my lvl 24 either, so that character is still just sitting around while I work on my other two.

I know other people have had the same issue with the rum tasks bugging, and other problems; so what's going to happen when it goes live and all the paying customers start calling with complaints? They're going to be sorry they released so soon imo.

So, will beta players be able to use the Test server free?

I guess I've been lucky, I haven't really had much lag. Bugs? Yes. Lag? Not so much.

Hoping we can continue to use the test servers for free. Although doesn't really matter because I pre-ordered (I couldn't help myself, I get something for free!)

I have not had much lag either. I'm hoping that they fix everything, and that is what they are doing during the 36-hour period.

I mean it's not ready at all, yes it's a lot better than phase one but it's not ready to be open to the public yet. There's still bugs that prevent you from going further in the game, which is not good. I think as well, they'll get some complaints but, they will learn, I guess.
