Your Special Clothing!
 

Well, as you know, POTCO goes through clothing that is able to be sold in stores. For example, I know that early on in the game, you were able to get colored Circus Breeches, and before the Inventory Expansion, you could get colored embellished vests. Well, I want you guys to tell your special clothing item that cannot be purchased or plundered anymore, and that if you get rid of it, you can't get it back. And please don't post items you got from codes or events, such as skull bandannas or the Black Buccaneer Hat.

I have a green carpenter vest. Just like the one you can plunder, except a green color

I haven't seen the Callecutter quest... Anyway.

There's the rough tri-corn hat that I never see on anyone anymore. That's Lawrence's item of choice. He also has a pair of Denim Capris that you can't get in that color anymore. Kat has her special dark green Dingy Top, and lately, you only see Dingy tops in that plain... whatever greenish yellowish color. And I'm not sure about this one, but she may also have a Brass Buckle Belt (at least that's what I think it's called) that I don't see on many people, nor have I looted or seen in stores. Sarah has a bright blue Deck Vest, but I can't be entirely certain on that piece of clothing. Anyway, the little things.

i have a magenta hat but that doesn't really count...

I think Jack L. (mine, of course) has the Tri-corn hat.

I have a short sleeved blouse in this glaring orange color, only keep it for Halloween as it's quite ugly. And Kat has a beautiful bright blue, short sleeved shirt I've yet to see anyone else wearing.
I've sold a couple of items and kicked myself for doing it afterward, I wish we could have about 60 pages of inventory for clothes... =P

Back before the inventory expansion, I aquired a Bright Orange Vest from an Undead Bandit, which I inevitably sold for gold. I also had found a Dark Purple Vest, which was also sold.

i have a lavendar sack vest, and a bright orange silk vest.

Erm, I think you guys are missing the point. I mean an article of clothing that is literally, IMPOSSIBLE to get now. It was available way back when, but you can't get it now. Like, you are likely THE ONLY player that has it, or one of the very few.

Oh how I could go on with that department. Let's see. I have those brocade corsets from PDF, that one that only comes in blue now? From when you could change the color I have bright purple and also a really great teal. I have a whole bunch of those patchwork capris in true black, back when you could get black in the create a pirate. I have those metally looking corsets in black, and also in green. Both are also former create items. Oh, an my Trynity has a true black coat as well. An that's just my girls!

My guys, Doc has a really great dark red coat that he wears for the 4th of July with his Barbossa pants and a white top. Black Ian McPherson took it way far. He has a true black coat, the darker black top, and a black Night Vest. Unnnnnfortunately, some of these items are on currently basic pirates, and of course, now that things have changed, they can only use them when they are unlimited. Still, I will go in and get screenies for you guys, and post them up later today.

oof i have so many things that are rare because of there color from way before i could go on forever but i am not going to imagine my clothes as a pack of skittles taste the rainbow. but seriously i have lots of rare and impossible to get items

Yes, the Swashbuckler top is still available. However, this dark grey is now not available, and the bright teal has become a far more washed out color.

In the department of colors no longer available, the belt and top are technically still available in these colors, but the shades changed. What they call dark lavender now is much more washed out and greyed.

Some of my most prized corsets are currently sitting on my basic pirates though. My black Rose Petal Corset, and also my green and black Royal Corsets are currently unusable. I dunno how many of you remember the day they doubled the clothes all pirates were wearing, but by sheer chance my two basics were lucky enough to have those colored Royals in their wearing slots, and I'm not sitting on doubles of both. :D

What can I say? A year an a half of being a clothing loving pirate is what got me to that. LOL

Well, I got a Hunter's Vest that I had from the start but that's just probably cause it's ugly, but I don't remember seeing it in stores.

The dealer's shirt is useful for many outfits.
I like it because of that.
And then I put on my shipwright's suit and my high wing hat.
That outfit, I liek.
(with some pants and boots, of course)

I just have me plain tricorne. Sigh.... Too bad it's coming back next update :( BTW I saw some random dude running around with an ORANGE tricorne. I was like... what the???

I have quite a few clothing pieces that are no longer available in game. Others are ones that I just love wearing. I'll get some screens later with brief descriptions of them.

Old blue buckle sash. There is blue buckle sashes now, however, it is only found in a brighter shade than the one shown here.

This is a dark pink cotton corset. It's only found as a "Bright Pink Cotton Corset" now, and the colors are brighter. Starter item.

If I were to add my all of my special clothes, like my bright clothes I wear all the time, it'd be a little too long, haha. Those are my main rare clothes that are no longer available. I may add more eventually for those were only from 4 characters, and I have a few more than that.
