Captain Clause Returns!
Yo-ho-ho! I be back, mates! Miss'd me, didn't ya? I've once again returned to the Caribbean, bright n' early this time, to spread cheer to all the mates that sail these waters! If ye remember me from last year, that be a mighty fine thing, indeed! If ye don't.. well, first off, how naughty be that! And, secondly... My name be Captain Clause, mates! 'Course, not be confused with that landlubber half brother o' mine, Santa Claus! As he prepares to make his speedy travels around the world, I get ready to do the same - around the Caribbean, that is! Ya see, every year in the month o' December, me Magic Light Sloop pulls in to these waters, pulled by me trusty pack 'f sea turtles. Don't get me wrong, though - I be a pirate just like the rest of ye, I be not here to spread any of that "peace and joy" tomfoolery like those scurvy dogs up in the North Pole! I sail through these waters, gathering me plunder straight from the pockets of those dirty Navy and East India Trading Company blokes! And lemme tell ya, this year's haul is a grand one, indeed! So, me being the great ole pirate I am, I've decided to share it with all of ye! Every weekend after Thanksgiving, up til Christmas Day, o' course, I'll be roaming the waters of our fine Caribbean, pillaging and plundering me way through! And, with that, I'll be willing to share my profits with all of you! Now, of course, I need to be making sure that those pirates that wish to share me booty are worthy - which be why I'll be HIDIN', to ensure only the savviest swashbucklers can find me! Each weekend day in December, and the end of November (gotta be respecting other holidays, now don't ya?) I'll post a clue on this here thread, to tip ye off on where I be hiding. If ye just so happen to cross me path, simply whisper the phrase, "Merry Christmas Captain Clause!" , and ye got yourself a ticket to 15,000 gold! A mighty fine amount that ye can use fer your holiday shopping, aye? What: Captain Clause's Gold Giveaway! When: Each Saturday and Sunday after November 25th, up until Christmas Day. Where: I be in no specific location. But, me knowing that ye pirates be lazy, I'll be posting little hints once each day I be out to give ye a little push about my location and ocean! How: If ye be so lucky as to see me (Delmaria Darkskull,) just whisper to me "Merry Christmas Captain Clause!" and ye got yerself a ticket to me giving ye 15,000 gold! (via poker, of course) I ask that if ye just so happen to be on me friends lists, or in me guild, that ye don't use those magical player cards, or that teleporting voodoo we got, to find me location. Ahoy mates! My magic light sloop has finally managed to pull me in to my first location of my trip across the Caribbean! Although, it must say, it wasn't easy! While I made my way through the waters, I crossed an enormous battle between ships, with lead and mystical sorts of cannon fire flailing down on to me! Fortunately, me trusty sea turtles were able to bring me to a nearby island, where I could chat up with other sea dogs, and watch the battle from a nice distance. I think I'll stick it here for a while! There you go mates! I will be visible at the location above from 5:30 PM Eastern to 7:00 PM Eastern on Saturday, December 4th. Use the hints I gave ye to find out me ocean (server) and location. And when the time comes... thats when yer search begins! Good luck pirates! |

Ahoy again mates! Aye, I know, a bunch of ye are anxious to see yer rewards. While I've been much too busy repairing me magic light sloop, I promise ye, once I get in me next location, I'll be swift at gettin' em ready and sent! And, of course, a jolly ole Yo-Ho-Ho! to all those pirates who managed to come and find me last week! I got quite lonely back in that place, despite that furious battle I got to view over! For those of ye salty landlubbers that couldn't find me, I was sitting out on the Devil's Anvil Beach on the Andaba Ocean! Kudos to all ye savvy swashbucklers who found me! Now, anywho, on to me next location! After me and me sea turtles hauled off from the Anvil, I decided I needed a place with a little more bustle. And boy, did I find the place! Hundreds, maybe thousands of armed folk walk about. I'm guessing me in my attire mixed in pretty well, eh? So, I walked myself around the town for a bit, until me old sea legs gave out. So, I made myself some cocoa, sat down, an' tossa'd a little omlete, settling myself. There ya go mates! I'll be in me next spot tomorrow, Saturday, December 11th, 2010, from 4:30 PM Eastern to 6:00 PM Eastern. Let's see if ye can find me, eh? Good luck! |

Sssh.... keep quiet, mates... Tis a strange turn of events indeed.. after I left me last port of Kingshead, Antassa, up in the Town, me poor sloop was attacked by some sort of evil ship! I'm not completely sure what happened, but all I know is..... well, it ain't good! I'm going to need some pretty strong pirates if I best be getting out of this mess.... so be prepared. I can't say much, as the guards be making their rounds soon, and this old bag of bones be much to rattled to comprehend anything, but I will tell you I can be found on the Chetik Ocean, from 8:00 PM Eastern to 9:00 PM Eastern, Saturday, December 18th, 2010. C'mon mates! I'm counting on ye all to rescue me... |
