How do I get a signature?
 

You know, the text or image that appears under each of your posts? How do I get one of those? I don't see it in the options anywhere :(

You have to donate or have someone else donate for you to the forums:

Donate to Pirates Online Forums and get something you want!. If you already have upgraded your account, why not just donate or renew early! (Renewing early will add ontop of your current subscription length, not replace it)

Userpage Donation Subscription
42c per month. This subscription allows the use of a user/member page.

Signature Subscription
$1.66 per month. This subscription allows the use of signatures for your posts plus a user/member page.

Private Message Subscription
$1.66 per month. This subscription allows you to store 300 private messages instead of 25 plus a user/member page.

Private Message and Signature Subscription
$2.50 per month. This subscription allows the use of signatures and to store 300 private messages instead of 25 plus a user/member page.

Mega Private Message Subscription
$4.16 per month. This subscription allows you to store 2000 private messages instead of 25 plus a user/member page.

Mega Subscription
$7.91 per month. This subscription allows the use of signatures, have 5000 private messages, 200meg of attachment space, and a Email Account and/or Alias ([email protected]) plus a user/member page.

Or win at one of the very rare contests that POF holds that gives them as prizes.

Clan Leaders also get a signature. Only reason I have one is because I'm a Founder - they get them for free.

Eh, I'll probably never get a signature. I don't use this site enough to make purchasing one worth it. I'll just be writing my own in for now.

yay i finally got the signature to work i think.

I know we were talking about you. To get it to show go to User Cp. Then Edit your Sig. Also there are a bunch of guides and stuff on the subject. There's even one made by POF that automatically shows your stats and everything.

if u dont understand them ask a admin. thats how i got my sig

Yes. You can write in or copy/paste in a signature manually if you want. The same rules apply as if it were a regular signature.

Which would be no advertising and be family friendly?

I was moreorless talking about the signature length/size, but yes, appropriate content is appreciated. :)

Where you type in your post, there is a little pic with 2 mountains and a sun, mouse over it and it says, "Insert Image." You then insert the URL into it. But I'm not sure if you're allowed to make a siggy like that and post it, you might have to buy one.
