Has somone killed all the Huge Aligators?
whats the point it will just get censored

Hmm, I had no problem finding them yesterday in the main bay in Cuba. In fact, I was there to get "Big" gators", but the "Huge" ones kept getting in the way! In fact, I found them there again just now.

so could this have something to do with the mission I am on??
specifically hunting for some "huge" gators... just to make it more difficult? |
There are some that spawns in Cuba, but they don't just come up right away, you have to keep walking back and forth from their spawning spots. Some enemies spawn that way.

To find the huge alligators in Cuba, you kinda have to run around the bay. They spawn when you're there. Sometimes when you go after the big gators, the huge ones will show up.

The gators, that are normally just near the entrance to Tia Dalma's place
were not there! (At least for me!) It seemed as though all the regular spots for "huge" gators had dried up as soon as I got this quest. Was probably part of the game...because of the quest to find them. I eventually found some in the Misty Mire(?) in Tortuga. Although I had to go back there 4 times today before they finally appeared! (Cuba, I visited at least 4 times, and no huge gators. But now that the quest is done, I bet you they are all back! LOL) oh sorry...the sig? you mean the logo/picture? yeah, thats one of my business logos, link banners. |
Nope, it isn't just you.
They have been removed, as has the Scorpion in Tortuga's forest. I suppose too many people couldn't handle those baddies and went to Disney to have them removed. Just like the Grenadier that was removed that was just outside of the "nicer" part of Tortuga. Quote:

I was helping a friend today and we couldn't find a huge gator anywhere! Will have to let her know to give cutthroat a try. All Cuba had was swamp gators...grrrr

Stuck on finding a huge alligator too. I saw them in cuba too. Now I have the quest, I can not find them there. Any help on finding a huge alligator. That would be very nice.

As I said...Tortuga
far end of the beach, there is an entrance to a foggy swamp area (I think its called Misty Mire) enter until you see the group of four undead ahead, take the path to the left... past two fly traps and then to a raised shack. There are a couple of huge gators in that area. |
Huge gators are also still found on Padres del Fuego, in the El Suduron.

You have to run around a bit on Cuba to get the Huge Gators to come out - there are certain spots the Big and Huge seem to spawn in. I've been there many times and always see 'em, just gotta stir the waters a bit. ;)

Glad it's not just me. I spent 30 minutes in Cuba and found only one back in the swamps. -Was looking for that lone big scorpian also and found him to be gone.:mikec:

THANK GOD!!!! I tho i was alone in this. I also been running around Pantano River 3 days in a row and nothing. Hope fully today is my lucky day and i find one.

So if we can find the Huge Alligators in harder to get to places, where did the Dread Scorpions go?

I don't think they should have taken them out in Cuba... I think they should have been a bit weaker, or not as agressive. I didn't have any trouble with them, and whenever I was there (which, I leveled up alot here with them) I didn't see many people have issues with them when I didn't help.

Has anyone seen any of the Huge Gators TODAY? I am in Misty Mire right now, and there are Big Gators, but no Huge Gators. I have been all over Cuba, and none there either.
Have they migrated to a small wild island? I'm assuming if they have been removed from the places where we all knew them to be, that they must have popped up somewhere else.....but where? Has anyone seen them today? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. |

You can usually find huge gators in El Sudoron on Padres. There's also one in misty mire, a guild matey just got a huge gator in misty mire about 15 min ago.

All the Huge gators are staying over for a week at Peter Blakely's home in Port Royal.
The explanation for this unscheduled vacation cites stress and job related injuries. The Aligators have apparently gone on strike. On behalf of the Aligators, Captain Hook is presently involved in discussion with Disney Studios seeking some sort of resolve to the situation. In the meantime several small Gecko lizards are on loan from Geico Insurance in an attempt to fill various key positions in the Caribbean. Further news is pending... |
Have the Gators come back (from their strike)??
I just found a few in the river (inside) Cutthroat Isle. Try there if you can't find any. There were a couple of Dread Scorpions too. |
