I went over to the website to log on and I logged in but the "Play" button was grayed out instead of it being red. I had just fixed my graphics and made some computer file mods to increase proformance and get rid of lag... but... i cant play the game now lol

The site was down last night, I got in fine today though...

Well I don't know what to tell ya there. That's happened to me before, though. Maybe it's just because of the maintenance performed last night, probably just leave it alone for a couple hours and see what happens after that.

Pretty sure its busted, I've been trying to upgrade but it just isn't working.

I am now unable to log in to the main game for some reason. This is really annoying and strange...

I got in fine earlier today but now I can't log in either....

hmm test site is still down... bummer and live site wont work and launcher cant get in since the site is messed up

Game is down again along with the website. Earlier I had basic too.
Hopefully they get it all sorted out soon!

Phew, I was thinking I was only person with these problems. I logged in earlier today and saw I was Basic....

Now I cant log in at all. Hope it is fixed soon :william:

The being "basic" thing has happened to me also. Last time though, it just went away in a day or two.

It really hope this gets fixed soon! Maybe it is because of the maintenance....

I can type my password and nickname. But when i press Log in, the compass just turns forever.. o.O

When I click the link to the website, It says "proxy error". So I can't go far.

When i do launcher, it says Bad account ID or password.

The browser has a proxy error as well

Hello everyone! I have called the call center and the site is indeed down along with the game itself. They said that they are working on it as best as they can. They said everyone should try logging in, in a hour or so!

Well I'm on, but CC has been on for a while so it didn't affect me. Abassa is the only Ideal, and I have seen a total of 5 people. Invasion in 20 minutes if it opens back up by then.

Yeah, it's happening to me to. I would post a ScreenShot but I can't. Anyways, I hope it fixes

Same prob for me..... best thing to do is to report the problem as a bug. That way Disney will know of the problem quicker and have the info to fix it.

I did, at first. I saw someone in the guild my pirate was in with Admiral outfit on, so i thought it was just me. Until i saw this thread, i thought i was the only one with these problems.

I am not Disney, nor is anyone else here. You will just have to wait in confusion and hope that they will figure out something is wrong sooner rather than later. In games like POTCO it's more about finding where the problem is than fixing it.

I am unable to log on as well.

A friend just logged on, maybe its starting to open back up?

Patience, I promise it will be back up. They won't close it without letting us know.

Ive Been Playing since the beginning and i have never seen so many problems with this game till now, its gone to pieces

I'll agree with Sam. We've had A LOT of big problems like this recently. I just hope that there are no rollbacks. Rollbacks would be bad. If there are more rollbacks, I have no idea what the heck the players will do, or what POTCO would do. I mean, a handful of gold and a sword is somewhat sufficient, but if this happens again very few will accept this. They'll have to do something big to fix it. I'm fully confident that this will be resolved in less than a few days, but I'm just worried about reactions from the players. Anyway, I went to the site and it says this to me:

If there were a rollback, i would explode. I JUST mastered all my weapons. (staff, grenades, just mastered them) and i don't wanna do it again.

If there are more Rollbacks that means that Disney is now teaming up with Walmart.

Well if they do a roll back maybe they might come out with the Jacks brew again and double the percent. Plus I finally got on the site.

And TSC I have to agree with you on that one.

Mates, I dont think we have much to worry about. We have had many roll backs in the past, I know that. ( I had to master one of my pirates sailing 3 times ), but Im not sure that its the case this time. You never know, they could be putting all the servers back in, or adding more ships to the game. Lets wait and see. Wishing for the best. :piratewheelgo2:

Well SOTL was on test for a short time plus since people can still use it but not buy it.

Well, at least it's not just POTCO having this issue.

That is the final nail in the coffin of the "they might be updating the game" theory.

The mojo is not strong with pirates online.

i type in Id + password: it takes like a split-second to say Bad Login Bad ID.

They need a Maintenance week!! like no joke, im pretty sure that they would be able to fix eveything in 1 week & maybe add some new stuff that wont get old in a day......

I just got on too. Pretty empty though. Most people still probably figure that the game is still down.
