Another Pirates Of The Caribbean movie?

Aye, if you read the POTC4 book, they have a sneak peak. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Sword of Cortes. Apparently its about how he came to be.

If I remembered correctly, they actually signed on for a new trilogy. So there are gonna be at least two more movies! YAY Captain Jack! :laughks2:

So long as they have good story lines and plenty of action. I don't like seeing a movie franchise getting run into the ground.

According to Johnny Depp he said that he'll continue coming back as Jack Sparrow long as the story and the direction is good.

They've planned for 6 movies, Johnny likes the role, so he'll do it for as long as he wants.

I heard the storyline for the fifth movie was already written out. I'll admit that I've been having mixed feelings about this ever since On Stranger Tides came out. I love the main trilogy the best and think it would have been perfect just keeping it down to that and that's it. On the other hand, the fourth movie was very good, though I did miss some of the older characters, and I am excited for the fifth movie. I just hope Disney doesn't just throw these out one after another until the stories fall flat. As long as the ideas are good and original, I'll keep coming back for more.

I was surprised how much I liked the fourth movie as I had expectations for it. However, I was glad to see a good storyline with new characters. Barbossa has Queen Anne and Jack has the Pearl in a bottle. It won't end like that. I suspect we will see two more.

Either way, I hope they continue the movies, because they're all really good, and yes, I know there are plans for a fifth one, and I can't wait!

Until yesterday, I never had watched a Pirates of the Caribbean movie before, but I played the online game.

My gosh, how much I was missing out on!

I was watching "POTC: At World's End" I believe, and just watched the combat scene where 2 ships are in a circular motion with a whirlpool in the middle, while Jack's crew and others were fighting off Davy Jones crew of undead.

My eyes just stayed glued to the television when I was watching this scene and didn't realize that the movie had good parts like this. It makes me wish it would be that dramatic in the POTC online game.

Never hurts to try new things. I'm glad I watched a section of World's End!

Well, now it is time for you to watch the three other movies! :P

A 5th and a 6th, so I hear?

As well, I do not believe it will follow the 4th.

My favorite character is possibly Beckett or Barbossa, though Jack is quite well himself.
