I do miss the days when the level cap was only 40 and the caves were so simple. Things change in just a few years. Hopefully two years from now we'll be able to say the same thing.

Eh. Sadly, I didn't even know how to take pictures back then. Really sad. I do remember when I was a lower level, round the 15-20 range, and my friend had a Normal Frigate. Remember running up the steps up and down, and thinking it was huge. Then telling him he owed me the ship:pirate2:. Ah, the good ol' days :buds:.

Juliana....those picture must be archived on a DVD or an old hard drive somewhere around here. I remember when you first did them. They absolutely rock! It seems not so long ago.....when it was actually over 2 1/2 years. We had a blast......it might be time to start recruiting again.....hmmmm.....(rubs chin)..... :SkullBullet1:

How soon we forget this game launched in 2007.......many things have changed .......if you search online you will find the pre-launch celebration they had at Disney with Kiosks setup for people to test out the game.

Hah, I do remember hearing about that. Wish I could have been there. Then I would have been CRAZY for POTCO. Or am I? It did seem cool though.

I joined a week after the game released... I didn't take any screenshots. Either way, this is a new laptop so it wouldn't matter. But as I was looking at the old Port Royal pics, I almost cried, because I remember walking down there and thinking that this was the coolest game I had ever played. Which it is. I am always trying to find some old PR pics, because that was my favorite place. :)

Hah, oh I remember getting afraid of getting hit by Navy Cadets. Feeling so awesome killing Grunts or infamous Hired Guns. Ahh.. Those were the days...

They are called the Skull Flag Arm Tattoo. They go on your shoulder now, but some tattoo's in the old days were much larger and went around your wrists - those were my favorite to wear. :pirate2:

Ah the old sailing! I remember going off my ship and stealing a Navy one! Also, to this day I still don't know what the countdown did next to your ship.

If I remember correctly, once it ran out you sunk. I use to have a lot of fun letting it run down to a few seconds, then racing to port like I was in some kind of action movie. I think I miss the timer now.

Ah yes, the good old old Port Royal. (wait, what?)

I miss old POTCO so much. I remember when I was on Old Port Royal using an ol' beginner dagger against the guards in the town.

The text they had to tell you when a special event was going on was nice.

I remember my first time sailing, trying to sink a Navy Ferret... I used to think it was so hard to control my ship and could never find the Ferret xD I miss that old sailing thing too... They should go back to the old islands for anniversaries... That would be awesome, because I really don't remember them that well anymore, and some of the older pirates would really love it.

I want to get back into the past time, :p

I joined shortly after the game came out, and I tell you, I miss the old islands, particularly Old Port Royal. It was beautiful, and that little graveyard behind the warehouse, and the old entrance to town, gave me fond memories of when an iron cutlass was a good weapon. I'm such an old pirate.
