That's right people the season started last thursday with such a great game with The Pack and Who Dat?

I am excited about this season! Vikings will rise again! McNabb and Kluwe are great in and out of the field! That's right! I mentioned a punter!

With that said let the Gambling begin and best of luck to all teams and may your teams have a injury free season.

Although I LOVE the Cowboys, I'm wanting the Lions to win the super bowl :)

The Lions are a pretty solid team this year. Hopefully injuries won't kill the season.

Hopefully we can have the POF Casino Gambling next week.

Steelers got a spanking today, geez. Hoping the Panthers do work today/this season.

I am an extremely hardcore Broncos fan..... I was actually named after Denver (it's a girl name too ;)), and we've had several dogs named after the football players from there (John Elway, Tim Tebow).

We're hoping to have something better than a mediocre season this year.... and maybe we can get Tebow some more playing time!!! He certainly deserves it. :swordpirate:

They look like they're going to do pretty good - I was impressed with their win yesterday.... maybe they'll win the Super Bowl for the first time this year? That would be pretty big for Detroit! Of course, this is with no injuries or the luck that they usually have. I'm cheering for them this year!

What is pretty great about Detroit is the fanbase - regardless of their not too great past. They've got a huge fanbase that stretches way further than Michigan, and they continue to be fans season after season of losses. Well, I'd like to happily say that this could be the beginning of something new and wonderful!

I am a hardcore panthers/lions fan ( Of course, my favourits are some of the worst teams their are. ), and a good stealers fan.

I am a medeocer ([ meed - ee - oh - cur ] sorry, spelling! ) football fan, so I probably couldn't even tell you a linebacker from a quaterback, or an offense play(er) to a defense play(er). But I seriously hope one of my teams go big this year.

Cammmmmy Cammmm!! Getting excited about this Panthers season. Didn't know what to think about Cam at first but judging from game one I think he'll be good. Really, I just want the Panthers to have a good franchise QB.

I guess I should ask The POF Staff... Are we going to have NFL Casino gambling this season? Can we? Please?

I have a lot of money I would love to spend betting on the NFL :)

Currently, Sven Niscadae is being trained to to take over the Casino. There may be a delay in getting that started, but we hope to have it up and running soon.

if it means anything I'd be fine just seeing monday night games only. And as for mlb playoffs, just picking the winner of each series would be ok with me also.

Go to the Casino button at the top right just above were your name should be. Then pick Sports Betting from the menu. Then just place your bet.

let's just say too much of my money went to them.

Well this week is going to be very good to me. With my $100 value bets on a few games (Texans & Falcons) I'll be taking in a good chunk. Sorry about the Lions Map last week and today wasn't any better. But it isn't all lost with the Lions as they are better than my home team vikings. Think I should buy green.

Apparently what actually happened was CIN vs STL and DET vs OAK and CLE vs ARI. No idea why I didn't even have a Cleveland game in there. Not sure how much rum I was having when I put them up but I apologize these were messed up. I'm going to mark these 2 as draws so whoever bet anything to these non-existent games will get their cash back. Will get the next ones up today and double check them. :)

Last week I forgot to bet but went 3-1 on my picks.

This week I pick Ravens over Texans, Patriots over Broncos, Giants over Packers, and 49ers over Saints.

The winner of Ravens/Texans will go to the Super Bowl against either the 49ers or Giants. My gut says its going to be Giants.

Last week went pretty much as expected to me, except of course for the upset of the Giants over the Packers... but my superbowl pick would have to be the Patriots right now, doesn't seem like any defense can stop Tom Brady, but I could be wrong.

4-0 on my picks I am 7-1 this playoffs.

My picks for this week are: Ravens over Patriots and Giants over 49ers. Defense wins Championships.

Defense may win championships, but offense sells seats, and the ravens did not really seem to have an offense last week against Houston, in my opinion.

To be fair The Texans had one of the best defenses in the league. The Patriots have one the worst defenses in the league... So did the Saints, Packers, Lions, and Falcons.

As far as offense selling seats, that is why the rules changed for defense allowing all the passing game to boom.

Was rooting for the Texans just cause Yates is a Carolina boy. I don't trust Flacco, so I have to go with the Patriots as much as that makes me cringe. Not sure about the 49ers/Giants. I'd like to see a 49ers/Ravens game.

Alright Giants lehhgo. Normally wouldn't pull for the Giants but let me make a list of reasons they need to win the Super Bowl:
1) Hakeem Nicks and Marvin Austin
2) They aren't the Patriots

Gosh... why do the Patriots have to be so good... I've been saying the Ravens were gonna win it all since Preseason, mostly because Ray Rice is always on my Fantasy Team. :P

If the Giants O-Line can shut down the Pats Run D.... they will win. And hopefully the Giants' Defense can stop the Patriots' WR's.... please Giants win lol.

This was one of the strangest seasons ever. It was fun for some, sad for others (I'm a Vikings fan).
