Here is my War Brig so far. I can't afford to customize it but I'm working on that LOL.

Amazing! I thought it was just the War Brig that came out. :P Wonderful to know that ship customization is out! Great screenshots. :)

May I suggest fishing? If you have the big rod ( for level 15 + fishing ) , the sand sharks rake in big bucks... That's what I did on test and very quickly earned the cash I needed to buy that Brig.

I say blackjack.
Make sure you have lots of aces and kings/queens/jokers.
Go to Padres del Fuego.
Bid 500.
Most likely, you'll get a face card. Switch the face card with an ace. You'll have blackjack.
When you win, you'll get 1250 gold...

Notice how it looks like there is a "door" under the wheel. Perhaps, Captain's Quarter's as the next update? :D xD Ah, well I won't get ahead of me self. I had 50k and now I have like 3k from buying an upgrade and a sail color.

I am going to get me a UA card and try this out! I think the War Brig has almost the same concept as the SOTL. Testers get to work! Lets get try to get this update into live within a month!

I don't think this update will take more than two weeks to get onto Live. From what I've seen, there aren't any bugs with ship customization or the brig. There are, however, a few minor glitches with teleporting, player friending, textures and enemy ships sliding away from you. If the team works out those bugs quickly, I honestly think it could be released to Live next week or the week after.

Looks great! Can't wait for Test Server to go back online.

Alright, I calculated the cost of the War Brig I want. Note that this is not what I consider complete, as I want my War Brig to have Cargo III hull and Offense III rigging. These prices only apply to the War Brig - hull and rigging prices vary depending on your ship type.

• War Brig - 80,000
• Cargo I - 60,000
• Cargo II - 75,000
• Offense I - 22,500
• Red Sails - 10,000
• Spider Emblem - 5,000
• Total: 252,500 gold

And that's just for one ship. This update is going to keep us plundering for a long, long time. And like I said, this does not include the costs of Offense II, Offense III and Cargo III. Those three alone might cost an additional 200,000.

I realy like the disign of the war brig I need to work on money to costumize my war sloop.

Yep, still down. I guess they're working very hard on sorting the bugs out.

Be prepared for a possible reset .. Remember this is test .. so these kinds of things are expected as they work out the bugs and kinks. We want it to be ready for open so if we have to sacrifice a few hours of work for the sake of a better update I'm good with that.

This may be posted elsewhere, but here are some of the costs associated with the War Brig - in addition to the 80,000 price tag for the BASIC model.

Prior to the downtime, the game was very very buggy. I was able to obtain 2 rare materials the first day. I was booted at least a dozen times. Since test has been back up, it's still buggy. However, it doesnt seem quite as bad. Also Ive spent the last 2 days sinking ships and havent obtained even 1 rare material chest. Im not sure if it's just my luck or those chests are harder to come by now or they have temporarily removed them. Anyone else on test experiencing this?

On was on Test for a bit last night and must have submitted 6-7 reports in 15 minutes. I want the live release to be as bug free as possible. So I'm looking for anything out of place.

I have a couple of questions about the new ships - is it possible to customize the other ships, or is it exclusive to the Brig? And do you need a War Brig to customize, or can you customize all the classes?

From what I've seen, it appears to be all ships excluding light class.

I was on for some time yesterday and got several chests of materials. When I
would land they wouldn't show up on the booty screen. One time I landed and
it said I had some pine. I took it all, but when I got to the shipwright I had none
in my inventory.

This bug is wide spread. I have lost some many skull chests, and rare material chests. Just gonna keep reporting it!

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet. Me and Solomon have been experiencing disconnection problems everytime a War Brig ports to a island.
Anyone else been experiencing this? I sent a bug report with the launching info, hope it helps.

I had this happen when on a public ship and reported it. There are a ton of bugs and we need to help squish them.

Earlier I wasnt able to teleport anywhere after boarding a flagship. Kept telling me I was still on the flagship.

I was sailing today. After docking to turn in our loot, we launched again with a fresh ship. Me and my crew were greeted with a very foggy day. I have never seen this effect before. Can somebody explain what it is and when it was added. It gave a creepy feeling to sailing especially when Skeletal ships appeared and dissapeared around you :D

Wow, that looks pretty epic. It could be one of three things:

1. It's a very cool bug.

2. Disney have listened to some of their comments and added a little weather.

3. It could be something to do with Halloween.

I was thinking it could be to do with the Muertos Moon, but the usuall notification that states Jolly cursed the place didnt appear when I first logged on or when we saw the fog.

I think it's a Muertos Moon thing as well - and the atmosphere is certainly like Halloween last year. Is it foggy on land also, or just sea? And has it happened again since?

The first time it was only foggy a sea. Since then I have seen it at Port Royale and Tortuga. I have only seen it happen on 3 seperate occasions.

The moon won't come untill the 14th. I think its some nightly weather effect they added. I got to check this out!

This happens when you launch from Raven's Cove; the ocean becomes covered in the fog found on Raven's Cove, and the water turns a greenish colour (also from Raven's Cove). It's not a new addition, just a glitch.

Well, then it is my new favourite glitch. Now that I think about it, everytime I did see the fog we had just come from Ravens Cove. Thank you for your explanation.

Hey mates, mind I ask a question? Is it possible to get all the hull upgrades for a ship, or is it only one upgrade per ship?

Just one upgrade path per ship. Ye can change it to a new path, but only one at a time.

Example: Streamline, or Cargo or Armor.
