Weapon of Choice During Invasion?
 

Personally, I go with sword until Jolly Roger comes, then I use Doll.

It would be gun for me. I did an invasion just now, in fact, and I used gun for nearly all of it, because it's one of the much tougher weapons. Seeing as gun works best for Keg Runners and Jolly Roger in my opinion, I don't often switch. I sometimes switch to sword, though, for the big groups of normal enemies.

I mostly use guns in an invasion. I switch between a blunderbuss for large mobs and a pistol for Jolly and Kegs.

Gun is my favorite invasion weapon. ( followed by staff/grenade and broadsword )

Invasions are actually the only time I ever do anything real with my staff. The staff is my weapon of preference during an invasion. I just blast away the enemies coming at me with Flaming skulls, taking out huge amounts of foes so that my enemy count adds up high at the end (my record is 148 enemies defeated). I keep blasting away enemies until I run out of voodoo, when I take out a broadsword while I wait for my voodoo to recharge. Then I go back to using my staff. Once Jolly comes, I tend to switch to my Black Shark Blade, or a Blunderbuss depending on the situation.

I used to be more of a staff user during invasions, but now, given that I am on a quiet server, will just run around and randomly hit enemies with my broadsword.

As unlimited= staff
As basic= Gun and then doll to heal people

I have sheer force siege. When I solo invasions (or do them with tiny groups), it's fun to let all the skeletons get to the barricade and just 'nade them all at the same time.

I usually use the staff until it comes to Jolly Roger and then I use the pistol. That way if I get chained by him, I can still hit him with the gun.

Yeah, when Jolly comes around I will pull out my musket, but other than that I stick to sword and staff.

I've never tried using staff in an invasion, but now you mention it I think it would be a fantastic weapon to use! Will definitely try that...

Nothing is more brutally efficient and enjoyable than running through the front lines with a nice, heavy sword in your hands.

Broadsword. I like getting in the thick of the fight.

With a broadsword I can usually get underground skeletons.
