Here's a thread to remove the future possibility of clutter. If you happen to get a RARE clothing drop, post here and tell us what you got, where you got it, and what you got it from.

I haven't gotten one yet, but I'm hoping to get one eventually!:buds:

I got one on my little guy yesterday on the first undead bandit he killed. It was a bright red shirt.

I got a pair of purple pants this morning. On my little pirate, killed a bandit in tortuga. Went to the clothing shop and the sell value was 556. Cool. Gonna hang on to them though. They're kind of cool looking.

Congratulations! I wouldn't expect to get one from a bandit. I wouldn't sell them, for if trading comes in, you never might know what you could get for it! Sounds like bandits are where it's all at. I'll try that this morning.

u mean ive been killin grenaders for the thing and a lvl 1-4 bandit gives ya it O_o whoah

Well, this is also more around the findings of clothes.... I didn't see the thread until I made this, a few days later after, actually.

...Bandits?! I was in Kingshead all day Withering the group of vets, and got nothing.

I know. Weird, huh?

Maybe it's working like Treasure Collections... You get a higher drop rate if it's a skeleton.

Eh, maybe. I've been killing Gypsies, Grenadiers, Raiders, etc. and haven't gotten a single one.

I agree. Ive been killing everything from Gravediggers to Tormenta likes. Still found nothing on either pirate. I know their rare but comeon!!! And what happens if you have 4 items of each in your closet?

I've killed at least 500 enemies after the update and nothing. One of my officers has killed thousands and nothing.

im just going to suggest a theory potco has this new mind reading device and if it senses that you are killing guys for the sole purpose of clothes they wont but when they detect that you are not looking for clothes BAM! you get some :p but thats just my theory

Maybe I missed something, but I read the game news on Open and i didnt see anything about drops of clothing...but i know i saw it on test.

ROFL! That must be it! My little pirate who got the clothing drop was just doing a quiest, and BAM, purple pants! My big pitare, who has nothing to do but grind weapons, was hoping for clothing, and NADA!

After hours spent at Tormenta with my level 35 I've gotten nothing.
Less than one minute in Wildwoods with my level 5 at the time and bam! a purple belt dropped!

Well, I've got 3 pirates goin and nothing from any of them. Maybe its my account is buged.....dunno.

Got a orange pirate hat (girl) a few days ago on tortuga. I also got a bright red fancy vest but don't know how. I learned about the vest while checking my clothing items.

I got one today from a Veteran On Padres . . . . a sash, but it never showed up in my closet I know I had an empty slot for it too, :(

One problem with your theory,
I didn't even know about the cloths drops, and I have been killing everything in tormenta, for the past week... didn't get anything, (well, other than a couple of free tp's to jail!):psmiley35:

Molly has plundered two pieces of clothing both about three weeks ago and within five days of each other:

I plundered the ugliest long sleeved yellow shirt while stumping in Outcast and got a pair of bright red short pants from an assassin on KH.

I never wear the shirt, but the pants are in regular rotation

My noob Meg (well, she's not really a noob anymore, lvl22) plundered her first piece of clothing last weekend. It was a bright orange short sleeved shirt. She got it on KH from, of all things, a lvl12 EITC Grunt.

I'm still waiting to plunder a pair of boots...i don't know if anyone has ever done that, but man! that would be awesome lol

I got a pink/purple belt from a Stump at Outcast! WOOT finally!!!!

I haven't got any, I am on the test server and have nothing

D Anybody Plunder a Lot of Clothes of Enemies?
 

I have maybe gotten a Total of Two sets of Purple clothes, but, after then, I haven't gotten anything. I'm just wondering, does anybody have better luck than I do with getting clothing from enemies?

Clothes drops are somewhat rare/scarce.

If you got ONE consider yourself lucky.

If you got more than one, consider yourself blessed.


I have 4 level 30+ pirates.

Only one of them has ever recieved anything, and recieved Bright Orange Pants, and later a Bright Red Bandana.

Tough to get, though, I had like a Purple Suit or something, both the pants and shirt.

It looked OK, but, the gold was worth more than the clothes.

Keep in mind you must have an open slot (max 4 items per type) in order to obtain a clothing drop. So, anyone walking around with a full closet has no chance!

Ive got 2 shirts from a level 34 and 38 but thats all ive got

Actually Tuefen, I have gotten 5 sets of clothing, just like how you can get more than 5 tattoos, as long as you plunder/unlock them, you can get more than 5 sets.

Since clothing drops came out. I have got 0 first guy, 3 second, 0 on the one now. May have been a little section along there that clothes dropped better, but who knows. Has anyone being seeing much of anything here lately?

Great to know this about clothing drops! I was going to focus some attention on it...but will now stick with the other quests and plundering ships :)

Definately do not want to focus on these, although the outcome would be some serious weapon leveling. Grind grind grind ... nothing grind grind grind .. nothing.

my guy picked up some kind of coat with a skelly on the back from an undead gypsie i have noo idea how i got it but it looks sweet

Only time I ever got anything on my 1 of 5 pirates was my level 20 while leveling grenades.

lol ok because admiral sam is only lvl 1. i have two other lvl 4's, though. my highest pirate is lvl 19. so close to twenty!!

NOT A LIE: my friend got jolly rogers hat!!!! He says he got it from and undead captain butidunno where to find them...but man it looks soo cool ( wish i could upload a pic)

My first day I got a loot msg that said I got a shirt, but I could not find an inventory slot so I thought it was just a treasure/valuable type thing where the items is converted to cash, but I don't remember it saying that there was a cash value, it happened pretty fast.

This is my 3rd day playing and just went unlimited yesterday. Is there an inventory place?

You must go into a clothing shop to change clothes. You dont have to buy them if they are in your inventory. Click on the "My Items" tab when in the "store". Of course also click on shirt category. You should find it there :)

Maybe you could take a screen of your friend wearing it,and post it here as an attachment.

Okay, I've gotten like anklets and bracelets and I think a belt. Where do I go to put them on? Sorry, I haven't played in 6 months and I forgot everything.

Anklets and Bracelets? These are not the drops being discussed, those are Treasures, Odds n' ends, etc. There are no anklets/bracelets in the game that im aware of (other than those) at least none that can be worn.

kretzge, i dont exactly belive you. press f9 to take a screenshot of both items, then go to search for all files and folders "screenshot" then find them, then send to my documents, then attach them here. and, there are no undead captains in this game. there are undead french capitains, and undead spanish captains, but no just undead captain.

Yeah the claim 'sounds' like a braggarts heresay.. not saying it is.. but it definately sounded like it. hehe.

No evidence.. just take my word for it... i got it from a critter that doesnt exist.

Maybe he meant french/spanish undead captains.

I guess what im thinking is its not likely best to speak for what someone else said.

I have no idea how long I've had this, but I got one too, somewhere along the way. It isn't something I could have bought way back when, either, as my pirate only wears white clothing for increased visibility. That is, so other pirates can see me and perhaps heal me.

I wasn't sure which post to post this under because there are so many, but I got a lavender jacket (short style) that has ties in the back of it the other night. I can't remember exactly what high level skeleton it was, and don't really remember where I was (maybe Tormenta), but thought I would let you know.....

I got a Lavender Shirt also from a Molusk in Tormenta during double exp weekend... not double drop! I haven't tried it on.. keep forgetting... looks cool though.. I will post pics soon

can you get clothes with basic acess

If you can, I doubt you can access them.

I got a drop of clothing about a month ago - didn't feel like posting lol. It was a purple fancy short sleeve open shirt, and I got it from a Mercenary at Fort Charles on Port Royal. I don't wear it, since it's not that great looking, but it is worth 450 gold.

i got a bright yellow shirt from a witch doctor it was very uqly so i sold it and got 480 for it

It appeared on my closet one day when i was least expecting.Prob the best looking drop ever in my opinion,i get tons of compliments and has anyone ever seen a vest that said "leather" on it?

That is one fancy drop to be sure! When people say bright, I truly doubt it if I don't see it, but yes, that is bright.

i was luck enugh to get a feathered hat once but my friend some how got in to my pirate and thught it was ugly and sold it :(

Finally, one of my pirates got a drop. "A Black Hat" I was So excited, couldn't wait to see it.

I finished off the last of the Raiders I was staffing on the PDF back Beach, and ran to the taylor.

Alas....it's a sweatband...pfft. Doh!

Some folks have all the luck... both good AND bad. Bot what I would give for a clothing drop.

Looks good Sarah, both on you and by itself--haven't seen it in a store, haven't gotten anything of the sort myself--so what's there to complain about?

I agree with monkeefriend - there's not enough really black clothing in the game. But...no...that's not a hat.

It'd be lame if called headgear. My opinion is just as straight-forward as my sentence.

I found a shirt from a undead bandit on my level 3 pirate ... sells for 553 =)

They should add black clothing... im emo i want my black!!!

I found one of them (^) from a vet on the PDF backbeach.I dont really like it and it gives a good $485, so should i keep it?

I'd try to make it work, perhaps with some other clothes (though I don't like the unbuttoned shirts myself...) to go around it.

That absolutely has not been true whenever I've gotten my drops. Did they change it in the last week or two?

First off this is a post from half a year ago. I have seen drops on about half the characters, with new changes if it will stack or open a second window I haven't heard for sure anyone verify that.

It will I have 10 shirts with one pirate 2 drops 4 from quest and then paid for the first 4

Is it with any random enemy or specific ones that give you better chances??

Its very Random 0 with my first lvl 40, 3 with second 40, 0 with third, and just got 1 with my 4th a lvl 21
