Walk the Plank!?!
 

In case I'm missing something is there any way to make someone on your boat walk the plank? I've had two people catch me off guard tonight with friend requests and next thing ya know their on my boat just hanging out while I'm blowing up EITC ships. :sadmh9:

I wish there was a "walk the plank" option but unfortunately there isnt. :zu02zq:

Hey Rose when that happens send out the help signal in guild chat...meaning just holler at us..We will come and help. We love letting ship jumpers have it!!!

First, unless you accept their friend requests they can't get onto your ship. If you added them to your friends list that amounts to "opening the door" for them to board your ship. Port your ship and delete them from your friends list. In the future don't accept friend requests from strangers..

There is another way players can board your ship. There is a glitch that allows players to walk off their ship and over to yours. They can't use the wheel or the cannons but they are clearly visible on your ship. You can click on them and use the report button. No further action is needed. When you sail away they fall off your ship so if this happens just sail away from their ship and they plunge to the sea.

Yeah, just be careful with those friend requests.

On Piper, I've friended almost exclusively Wenches...it's worked great so far! :tongue8:

I've come across quite a few people who try to befriend me while I'm in the middle of battling or just before I select which one of my ships I wish to board. In which I've clicked that stupid accept button so many times by accident. Sometimes I've forgotten to get rid of those people and that person must of been one of them!!

That'll teach me! I sat and made sure to remove anyone I didn't want on my list! I do think a walk the plank option would be neato though! :)

That would be cool but i want to see the sailin away glitch that would be cool lol.. let someone try that on my ship!!!! :pirate2do0: well off to spend time the family ill write more later!

I think I might have seen that glitch before or another one. I saw someone near a ship once but wasn't on it, just standing in the air over nothing but water.

It's an easy glitch from the War Galleon - man one of the top cannons, exit, and then walk forward through the railing in front of you off the ship.

You'll keep walking forward and up as long as you don't jump (kind of like you're on stairs). If you jump, though, you'll start to "float". It doesn't really do anything...there's no benefit I mean (so, if you're watching, Big D, DON'T TAKE IT OUT! It's doesn't give any advantage, it doesn't hurt anybody, and it's FUN! Treat it like an Easter Egg...PLEASE LoL).

It's how we get all the "giant" pictures. :)

Well while my redhair is appearing to fade to a platinum blond... I've read on wikipedia and the POTCO site that we can talk in the game other then the speed chat or whatever its called (which isn't very speedy if you ask me, it takes forever until I find what I want to say!). Like, I mean, type whatever we want to say. How the heck does this work? It says to hit enter to open the chat screen and type... I try that and it triggers whatever command that key may stand for.

To chat, if you hit enter it should open up the chat box. If it doesn't, then just click on the little arrow. Then you just type what you want, and submit it. :)

So you can then? That's odd, the times I've tried it doesn't seem to work, all I seem to get is the darn speed chat options. When I have tried to say something to someone as soon a I'd hit ASDW or JKLI, my pirate goes that direction or opens that window instead of keying a word.

And the chat box is open when it happens? Weird...

What happens to me a lot is I'll accidentally push enter twice, which opens and closes the chat, then type without realizing (until I hit the spacebar and I jump, or waste a tonic by pressing T or something...LoL).

I finally figured out my problem! Oye! Apparently, I didn't have my account setup for open chat for the account manager thingy on Disney's site. I didn't realize that would affect the game too! Boy oh boy... *shakes head*
